We visited this small but nice park by the Canning River. It has a nice walking path, a great view of the river and numerous park benches. We saw ducks, swans and pelicans in the river. We enjoyed our visit here.

I discovered this place after having brunch at Lo Quay Cafe. It’s absolutely stunning and perfect for walks along the river. Plenty of shade, benches and spots on the grass to relax.

I passed by accidentally today and found that it is very relaxing. You can also have a picnic and run. There are parking spaces on the road. The scenery is beautiful and there are many local birds. It is recommended for those who want to walk, exercise, and picnic!

A beautufil, quiet section of the river between Shelley Bridge and old Riverton Bridge. Plenty of bench seats, lovely trees, easy street parking and great river views. Lots of native birdlife and the black swans are most inquisitive! A very relaxing spot.

Always so beautiful down here. Love how everyone is so kind and polite. Saying hi as they walk past and keen for a chat by the river. Area is kept clean and very tidy

Nice place to spend afternoon with kids by the side of beautiful Canning river. There are a lot of facilities like playground, a cafe, fishing option, BBQ and public toilet. It is also good for canoeing as there is a ramp. The public toilet closed 8:30pm.

It's next to the bridge. Has bbq facilities, benches and very well maintained grass. My dog likes it here. Also have bins and dogs poop bags. Very convenient, and I'd recommend it overall.

A lovely park, small and fairly close to the road. It's peaceful to look over the river here and watch the birds. It is a popular walking spot and there is a good cafe just over the bridge that is very popular. There is also a phone charging station next to the picnic table for those who need one.

My family and I go paddle boarding in this area and we absolutely love it. There's so much wildlife and beautiful scenery here. We've even managed to see dolphins. The bbq facilities are easy to use and perfect for for after our morning activities. Would recommend happily

Local little park that's great for a walk, to sit on the benches or a small picnic. If you follow the path under leach Hwy bridge you'll reach Shelley Foreshore. Ample parking around the riverside or near lo Quay Cafe nearby. Can't really see the sunset cause of the houses but it's still nice and quiet. Public toilets are also near the Cafe. It's a shame the water quality isn't great here for a swim and there's no jetty to connect visitors to the river. Limited public use BBQs as well so bring your own

Great place to just chill and have time with yourself or with close friends/family. Always a nice breeze even on these hot summer days

This is a beautiful spot located close to Leach Hwy and well worth visiting. It is 30 minutes walk from my house and I come here regularly by bike or walking. Evening is a good time to see the pelicans. There is a boat launching ramp and trailer parking - great place for canoeing/kayaking. Lo Quay restaurant is on the other end of the bridge with adequate parking, toilets, outdoor seating and table service under the trees with beautiful views of the Canning River. There is a good play area for children. You can picnic on the foreshore between the new bridge and Riverton bridge. HISTORY Riverton Bridge was originally built with (I think) convict labor. It was narrow, rickety, and Shelley Bridge on Leach Hwy was added later. RB was rebuilt some years ago to the same plan, but stronger and wider. A friend and myself were allowed to take the old railway sleepers/ties for firewood. We burned the old bridge!!
