Great little beach in the mariner. Safe swimming for all ages. Easy access to the cafes and bars for lunch.

A really good beach to take your kids. Its sheltered from waves and has good shade areas and even has pram and wheelchair access to the waters edge. We spend a lot of our summer beach outings here. They have a great little pontoon you can swim out to and jump off or go on the slides also a good wooden jetty thats great to get some good bombies off. When you're done swimming you can head into the marina shops and grab an icecream or a feed of fish and chips or even a beer if thats your pleasure.

Excellent beach for the whole family. Easy access, safe, good amenities, very clean and plenty of shady spots to sit down and enjoy your stay. Highly recommended.

A fantastic night out. Such a woderful beach with an awesome atmosphere and spectacular view.

Currently recovering from an operation, so needed an accessible beach. The ramp down to the water is great and was easy enough to navigate on crutches. There are also lots of great eateries and speciality shops on the board walk. You can spend your whole day here!

What an incredible place for a picnic and watch the sun go down. Love this place so much.

Hillarys Boat Harbour South Beach is a perfect beach for kids and new swimmers, almost no waves here and the beach is usually very clean and safe for all. Nice showers and clean toilets near by make this a perfect spot for the whole family, parking here can be a challenge on weekends and during peak times.

We had lots of fun, filled with adventure and we visited during Joondalup festival, with lights at Hillary's boat Harbour.

Lively spot, very popular but a nice place to have a swim, huge variety of eateries and visiting AQWA was nice

Went to the Boola Djarat Wardan and then had a great variety of desserts. Wonderful atmosphere and family friendly.

Great place to go. Cafes, restaurants and quirky shops. Beach is great especially for families.

I love this place! I had my family visiting from UK and was able to take my grandsons down there to try their hand at paddle boarding. They loved the water. The youngest was able to wade out quite a way with us and play frisbee so he was thrilled. Lots of food establishments to choose from. I do miss the cafe the was actually by the beach when the slides were there and given the popularity of the place perhaps a couple more sun shades wouldn't go amiss, but overall it's a fab place. My family loved it.

A great little cove for young families to chill. I miss the water slides it once had. It's a shame they took that away. More shade is needed but if you bring your own its fine. Can get full but what beach doesn't when it gets hot. Then you can head over to the board walk for food n drinks. Enjoy this little delight

Absolutely beautiful beach and great place for an outing with the shops on the boardwalk. Great that there's a calm area to swim in the marina if you don't like waves. There is wheelchair access all the way to the water too!

We always have a blast at Hillary's. Swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, fishing, picnics, dining and sun bathing. Great for all ages, all swim levels and there's plenty of life guards around keeping everyone safe which makes you feel even better when you've got a bunch of kids enjoying themselves there.
