we were really looking forward to going to this bar and had occasion to go on Saturday night, what a joke! would not play any music by request just 2000’s lounge music, rude arrogant manager that would not listen to our complaints or feedback, $15 for a glass of wine that had about 200 ml in the bottom of the glass, would no accept cash, waited ages to get served as staff were busy chatting to people they knew, very clicks, my opinion don’t bother wast oftime

Sophisticated, welcoming and cozy are three words that come to mind for Astral Weeks. One of the highlights for me was the amount of attention put into the sound system and overall room acoustics. Not only was the music really enjoyable, but the room was set up such that you can easily have a normal conversation with others without having to shout (and that was with a room that was packed!). This brings Astral Weeks to the top of my list when it comes to places in Perth to hang out with friends after hours. The drinks selection was not too inspiring, but this isn't stopping me from making return visits, that's for sure.

Great place to spend some time. Intimate, cozy vibe. The hand crafted sound system is superb. The staff know their drinks and certainly know their music without being snobby about it. I’ll be back!

new favourite addition to perth, sonically this place is outstanding, the music was loud enough to be a focal point yet acoustically designed well enough to be able to have a conversation without needing to yell, even though we were sat upstairs real close to the speakers. these guys clearly know what they’re doing. great drink selection too.

A bar with a sound system to melt any audiophile's heart. Vinyl music played at a level that allowed conversation was a sheer pleasure. The drinks menu is interesting with quality products to taste and enjoy. We enjoyed a couple of classic cocktails followed by a lovely glass of gamay each.

A nice intimate bar imitating record bars seen in Japan. The view out the front window adds to the vibe and I was happy witch the tunes. Cocktail menu was simple and to the point.

Very cozy and relax atmosphere. Plenty varieties of beverages available at the Bar. Great options for wines. Live DJ music with different theme songs. We went on an African theme songs night which was very upbeat and fun. Recommend!

Love this place. Love the music and the vibe. And most of all I really enjoy the fact that I can both listen to the music and hear my friends talking at the same time. They’ve really given thought to the acoustics and it’s super appreciated!

An assuming little shop with excellent vibe and drinks selections, plus great taste in music choice.

Cool little bar tucked away from the madding crowd. Good selection of drinks and two beers on tap. It has an alfresco area which u can sit and order food from one of many Asian restaurants all along the alley way. The shiraz I ordered was particularly good but I failed to note. Have to come back again.

Crisp sound quality, unique drinks menu with some cool Japanese options, chill vibe and friendly staff. Nestled in ChinaTown, this listening bar is a wonderful addition to the Perth small bar scene.

Someone was going on about the chairs, unbelievable. This is a great little bar, great sound, friendly service. A must for a vinyl lover. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, quiet but nice ambience.

Lovely cozy little place. We tried a couple of the Bartender wine recommendations and sake. Was really good. The DJ was playing some cool records.. very eclectic
