I woke up one morning after being in Cusco for a week with shortness of breath and felt like I was going to pass out. I managed to make it half way through the day before realizing I needed medical attention. After googling several hospitals in the area and feeling unsure about all of them, I asked my hotel if they recommended a doctor or hospital, and they pointed me in the direction of SOS clinic. I took a taxi there, and when I arrived (10 minutes later), I could no longer walk on my own and was at the point of passing out. Doctor Lizbeth saw me immediately, and after running blood tests and an EKG, concluded I was experiencing an issue with my heart. They ran additional tests and called a cardiologist, and recommended a medication that would help with my heart. As a foreigner traveling alone, it can be scary to need medical attention, especially when you're in a small town. I felt very cared for at SOS Clinic, and I actually felt like everyone there had my best interests at heart. Doctor Lizbeth even reached out to me a few days after treatment to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in Cusco.

Perfect place to be if you need medical help. They did a blood test to give the right medicine and the results were very fast. Docotor Rodolfo is a really kind and professional doctor.

Extremely positive experience at this clinic. As a foreigner and it being my first time ever in hospital you can imagine my fear when I told I was being admitted for 1-2 nights. I had been having diarrhoea for 3 weeks which hadn’t been improving. Initially I thought it may be dodgy tummy/altitude but when it was continually getting worse I decided to attend this clinic based on our hostel recommendation and google reviews. I was seen by a doctor within 15 minutes of entering the clinic and admitted immediately for bloods,stools and urine tests when he heard my symptoms. It turned out to be E.Coli/ travellers diarrhoea. I was kept overnight in a lovely en-suite room with a big tv and Netflix to be flushed with antibiotics and fluids. Within 24 hours I felt 100% better. All the doctors and nurses I dealt with were so kind, attentive and professional. The doctors spoke very good English which was a huge relief when you have limited Spanish. Overall a very positive experience and I am so grateful for the excellent care I was given by staff. Anybody or any foreigner reading this who feels they might need medical care and are apprehensive about attending a doctor here, I can 1000% recommend this clinic and their 5* standard of care.

I highly recommend SOS medical! It can be very nerve-racking being in a foreign country and needing immidiate medical assistance. I am so happy I came across this place. The entire team here is incredible and so helpful. Dr. Rodolfo is very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. Quick and easy communication trough Whatsapp. I felt they were professional and efficient. The doctor I visited also spoke English.

Had an emergency (allergic reaction) in the early morning hours and was seen immediately upon arrival. The staff were wonderful and thoughtful. Out by midday :)

Helpfull team. You can easy contact with WhatsApp quick answers normally in few minutes, all staff speak in English with its greats. Accept international insurance, or pay with card

As a foreigner in Peru with a sinus infection, they were absolutely amazing. Everyone was prompt, well-trained and the doctor spoke great English. They helped calm our nerves before our trek!

Nobody likes hospitals or clinics & in these times even more so but the profesionialisium of the staff & how they can make you feel at easy, the quality of care was 2nd to none! Would 100% recommend & although I don't want to get sick again I know I would go back for the excellent care!!

I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up, so decided to seek help. This location seemed to have great reviews compared to others so I came here. Absolutely worth it, Dr. Rodolfo was able to see me within minutes of arrival. From a blood test, it turned out I had salmonella. He provided me antibiotics and mentioned if it didn’t get better to come back for an IV. He continued to check in on me the following days via whatsapp to make sure I was doing okay. I was feeling much better by day 2 of antibiotics. Great service!

No one wants to be in the hospital while they’re on a trip in a new place, especially if they don’t really know the language. But this is the situation I found myself in a week ago. There are no words to adequately express how grateful I am for the quality care I received at SOS. They came to me in an ambulance and took me to the hospital, always erring on the side of caution and putting my health and comfort first. The staff was comforting and kind, even though I was constantly asking questions. The center is clean and comfortable. They even allowed my boyfriend to stay with me the whole time with no problem, which made the whole experience much more pleasant. My doctor (Rodolfo) stayed on my case from beginning to end, even allowing me to message him with questions after I left the hospital. He followed the same procedure as the doctors at home and explained everything to me very clearly in English. We even had some interesting conversations with him about healthcare and health issues in the US vs Peru. Where they went even more above and beyond is by checking with my travel insurance and coordinating it so that the insurance would pay them directly, a HUGE weight off my shoulders on top of everything else (not possible with all insurances though). THANK YOU SOS. You saved my life and lessened my fear of hospitals.

I got some lung problems and I sent a whatsapp message. 30min and I gat anbulance and I was in the hospital. The treatment was excellent and so kindly and things are taken care of really quickly. It is also a plus that the insurance works really well here
