Not worth. Not even a drinking water. No sign boards, mostly trying to escape from government Tax. Far from any hostel. Not comfortable. Didn't enjoy the stay. Expensive. Later i found better and beautiful places arround this place.

I have never asked for an ac room, asked for non ac room for maximum of 4 hours only. 100 rupees is not the issue, it is all about your attitude and the word you used. There was a bargain, but it did not say that your room is free of cost. No matter where you worked, it's no use in your language. You spoke your fish market language. This is the way you are treating a customer.... It may be I asked for non ac room, coz, I need a non ac room only, I don't want an ac room. But you want to push your ac room. I am also said that the rates are lower in online. Without saying who the frustration is, everyone will understand. You don't want to make me happy, but do not behave like this to others... please keep in mind, every day is a new day, every day is a lesson, everyone is an individual... Anyway, pray well and go to bed ...

If u have booked for 400 the wait! Never ever book from agoda to this place they are not accepting that booking over there and charging extra amount and if u are gonna stay there before paying please visit the room once and check it looks very very old most of the stuff don't it was all blood stains on bedsheets no roof on the toilet it was unclean all old stuff smells old not at all worth to say for that amount 999/-

The place is away from the main Vasco da gama square of Fort Kochi , almost 4kms away. Closer to the Synagogue and Mattancherry. The photos are shot well but differ from the real … unless it has been renovated and the photos are old. The host is warm , and the price also is reasonable for the comfort provided. Not tried any of the Ayurveda treatments. Makes sense if you are coming to stay for treatments for longer term , but as a tourist or traveller you would rather stay in the main Fort Kochi. Post owners response , google map for distance image attached … it is 3.5 kms away from Fort Kochi. There are many other homestays available in walking distance of fort Kochi.

This is a house on top of which 5 uneven rooms are constructed. No hoarding of homestay name. Very difficult to locate it. Not on the main road, it is inside small Street. Rooms are dirty with cockroaches running around. It has cemented floor. Standard room has only double bed and washroom is outside. Owner has 2 keys and they open your room with out intimation at any time. Superior room has tv but set top box is in non working condition. I want to highlight in professional behavior of owner. I booked this for 2 days about 2 months in advance. Also I took confirmation with him on email for booking as well no extra charges. Before 1 week he suddenly sent me email that MakeMyTrip is giving less for the room. So we can't accommodate you. After so many efforts put by MakeMyTrip, they gave owner 2000 rs for standard ac(rate is 1500) he agreed to continue with booking. On arrival the rooms were dirty. The blanket was foul smelling. Cockroaches were running around in the room. Bed has lot of dust. When I spoke to owner, he simply said that this is the only thing we can do. If you don't like you may ask MakeMyTrip to cancel the booking. This was very unprofessional answer as per hospitality industry. Again after my complain to MMT, he cleaned the room little bit. Also on the first night the owner was not allowing to keep the light of stairs and corridor switch on till we move around and it was very dark out there. I personally suggest avoid going to this homestay. Instead prefer some which are on main road.

The rooms are nice and clean, also common spaces are taken care of and nicely decorated. A common fridge is available and also drinkable water provided. There is also a big roof top to enjoy. The owner is friendly and helping.

The title tar service was very helpful. I was laid down on the floor the master did some magic that helped me relieve of the paid I was having on my right shoulder. I recommend as I had a good experience here. Also I took a full body massage from here which was also good. Charge was 1200 for the massage which was quite normal. It included a steam service was well which was not quite given at such rates. I appreciate the master who was very helpful and talked much about body postures and sitting, walking positions. Adams Wood House is relaxed and down to earth. He is a great host, sharing knowledge of trips, places to eat and yoga classes (which are brilliant). It is situated very near to Fort kotchi which had lovely seafood restaurants and a beach. I can't wait to return when the Ayurvedic hut is finished. Good for travellers, backpackers or people who want to rest. Daniel

We came to this place by invitation. No comments, just facts. No towel, no toilet paper, I asked for and they brought napkins. At night all the outlets without electricity, I couldn't charge my cell phone. The shower water lasted 2 minutes, I took out the shampoo and soap with a towel. Good room with 2 holes in the wall overlooking the ceiling. That's all.

Very pleasant stay in this well-designed house with natural light in the common areas and nicely decorated in all simplicity. The bed comfortable, clean. The house is a little far from the tourist area which makes it a little haven of peace. (lots of small shops around, the buses pass all the time until very late in the evening, for only 13 rupees you arrive in 10' in the tourist area which is very nice) We rest well here while remaining safe. The owner is always there when you need advice while remaining very discreet.
