Calm and quiet area. The wonderful forest gives you fresh air and a good feel. This temple is situated inside the forest. One of the most beautiful temples I've ever visited. A good place to get more relaxation and a peaceful spiritual mind. The last time I visited here was during the festival season.

This is beautiful temple inside forest . Walking towards to temple give us positive feeling and breathing fresh is very nice . Sound of night cricket is amazing but photography is not allowed in forest so going inside forest and taking photos are prohibited unless no permission from management. Small pond is there in walk way . No rush in temple .

From the scattered misty sun light that filters through the sacred groves and ponds, to the call of birds and insects, everything about Iringole Kaavu is a nature lover's delight. The moment you enter the temple premise, you get a mystical blissful experience . A must visit place for nature lovers and devotees. To all visitors, kindly be responsible and maintain the place litter free and tidy.

Not much rush at this place. Parking might be a bit challenge but you can park near the road. Iringole Kavu is a forest temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, situated in Kunnathunad Taluk of Ernakulam district, 2.5 km from Perumbavoor. This is one of the 108 Durga Temples in Kerala believed to have been consecrated by Lord Parasurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Incarnation of Yaga-Nidra (Maya) The Goddess is present in her original three forms of power: Morning - in the form of Saraswati (The power of knowledge) Noon - in the form of Vana Durga (The power of forest) Night - in the form of Bhadrakali (The power of fury and termination (of evil)) 'Iringole Mana' or 'Nagancherry Mana' of Perumbavoor was one old janmi family of Kerala. 102-year-old Vasudevan Namboothiri, the current 'karanavar' of the 'mana'.From owning over 15,000 hectares of land in places ranging from Aluva to Thiruvananthapuram five decades ago, the 'karanavar' was forced to sell the 'mana' for a measly Rs 1 lakh to Perumbavoor municipality in 1980. The bedridden 'desadhikari' now lives with his younger son Ganapathy in a rented house, once owned by him, at Valakkara near Perumbavoor with not an inch of land to lay claim to. The new secretariat building in Thiruvananthapuram and the EMS statue in front of it have come up on land once owned by the 'mana', once the head of 18 'desams' spread from Aluva to Thiruvananthapuram. 'Iringole Kavu', adjacent to the 'mana', is now run by Travancore Devaswom. Courtesy: Wiki

A temple amidst a dense forest. No words to describe the place, the photos speaks it all . Although a Hindu temple, people with all religious beliefs can enter the premise and enjoy the beauty of nature. Walk into the woods would make you peaceful forgetting that it's actually in a busy town.

A beautiful temple inside a forest... No words to explain the beauty of this place...from the entrance itself we can feel a positive and mind refreshing sounds of the nature . A beautiful place to get more relaxation and a peaceful spiritual mind..There are small pathways leading to the forest that is accessible to public and the rest is restricted area. No photography and videography allowed. No flowers are allowed inside the temple .

Iringole Kavu is a beautiful and serene natural reserve located in the heart of Kerala. The kavu is home to a variety of plant and animal life, including several endangered species. The kavu is also a popular spot for birdwatching, with over 200 species of birds calling the kavu home. The kavu is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Visitors can explore the kavu's many trails, take a dip in the kavu's sacred pond, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. The kavu is also a great place to learn about the importance of conservation. The kavu's management team is working hard to protect the kavu's natural resources and wildlife. Visitors can help by supporting the kavu's conservation efforts and by following the kavu's rules and regulations.

Beneath towering canopies, whispers of ancient tales, Iringole Kavu, where sacred essence prevails. Through thick forest, a journey unfolds, Nature's secrets and myths centuries old. In Perumbavoor's embrace, where time takes a pause, Iringot Temple, where Durga's energy draws. Urban jungle gives way to nature's embrace, A sacred grove, a mystical space. Green woods breathe tales of divinity, A dance of trees, a sacred symphony. As footsteps echo on pathways unseen, Myths entwined with leaves, a realm serene. In the heart of the wilderness, a temple stands tall, Iringole Kavu, where spirits enthrall. Beliefs and mysteries, like vines they entwine, A pilgrimage through nature, a spiritual sign. So walk through the green, where legends reside, Iringot Temple, where souls coincide.

Had a horrible experience there. The temple premises were calm and serene, but the people running it are incompetent as hell. They behave badly to visitors who come to the temple. We were threatened and abused by them. Will never go there again and will not recommend to anyone.

Temple has that silent serene vibe, a short walk through a forest path to reach the gem at the middle. Always best to read a bit of history before visiting so that you get the full feel

I went there with my kid, wife and mom. There were local people stationed inside the premises after the temple timings .They informed me The deity here is believed to be Nitya brahmacharini. Since there had been numerous previous occasions of young lovers finding this to be a hideout spot for their exchanges and the offensive photoshoots of ' save-the-date ', which are by far not at all appropriate to the brahmacharini status of the Deity , the locals are vigilant not such inappropriate incidents to happen again. Please do keep this in your mind. We are entering a sacred temple premise, so we are obliged to keep the divinity and sacredness of the place

Iringole Bhagavathy Temple is inside a wooded area, away from densely populated areas. The feel of a forest around gives the temple a tranquil atmosphere. An ideal place for praying in peaceful mind, away from distractions.

I came to this place unexpectedly, and to my surprise I never thought such a place existed in Ernakulam. To put it short, this temple has it's 'Sarpa Kavu' (spaces in temple where u worship the snake deities) kind of terrain expanded to a very large area. It's both incredible and a bit haunting. PS : it's a great place for photoshoots and they do allow that.
