I stayed there for a day. It was very pathetic experience. They given me a room No 302, which A/C was not working. When I complained they changed my room no 307, where shower tap was broken, bathroom was unclean. Again I had to complain and they changed to another room no. 304, this room Door lock was not working & Fan regulator was broken to control the fan speed. Since I was too much tired, i adjusted in this room. When I checkout, they given me the bill with higher price, again I had to fight with them to get it rectified. So bad experience and I will not stay there in future.

The room was clean and good. But the service, OMG..It was terrible to the extend. Won't pick up the call even if we call to the reception or even to the restaurant.. and moreover there was an instance that they asked for a fine of ₹400 by saying we scratched the access card where the door lock system was having issues. When questioned back, they took back all the things they said and told no need to pay... such a fraud attitude from the employees..

I stayed in VKJ with my family.Mind blowing customer service.All the staff in the VKJ are highly professional, friendly and helpful. Food they providing is in high quality and it is tasty also.The price charging for food is affordable and pocket friendly when it is compared to other hotels of similar segment. Highly recommended. Kudos to the whole VKJ team.

Arranged daughters birthday party here, the food was very good special thanks to Chef Mr.Ajay. They charged Rs.700/- per plate(including rent of the hall) for a Three course meal . The air conditioned hall was enough for our function of less than 60 peoples. Other than some housekeeping issue , the function was good. Stage arrangements were outsourced to another team. Overall the feedback from guests were positive with special mentioning of quality of food items. Chicken soup , beef roast , chicken curry , ghee rice were all very good. Paneer butter ma's ala , veg curry and Kerala paratta were not up to the expectations. Overall "Satisfied".

Restaurant service is very bad . Some event was happening in the conference hall and no one cared about customers in the restaurant . Long wait to get the menu itself and half of the items weren't available . Its better to keep a 'closed' board at the restaurant if you're unable to handle customers.

Attended a marriage function on a weekend. Inside the city and very little space for parking, with own risk. Staff with friendly approach, but food is not as much good as other same standard hotels.

Rooms are good, but poor room sevice as no one picks the call either in reception or restaurant. Intercom Numbers are not displayed anywhere and we need to go to restaurant for ordering food. Restaurant timing is not informed and we need to search for food in local shops. Complimentary breakfast service also poor. Seems like no proper staff. No drinking water and Cuttery are arranged with breakfast buffet and serving spoons are left in table mats without proper cleanliness.

We went to the Executive BAR here. Food is above average. Nice ambience, clean and tidy, well. dressed and behaved waiters. Beverage costs much less than BARs in and around Ernakulam area. Only negative I found is the excessive usage of air freshener.

Good hotel. Good enough for a quick stay. Fittings and hardware below average. Lift smells like sewage. Basement parking is available but unattended. People just come and park to their liking. Basement also smells sewage. Breakfast is served very late in the morning, 8.30 - probably scheduled only for govt officer types. Smiles are hard to see in these places. Blunt, boring figures around. Overall good enough for a quick 1-2 days stay, yet feels overpriced for the setup.

The rooms were good. The bathroom was smelly, seemed like the vent wasn't working. When raised a complaint, the housekeeping came in and flushed twice and did nothing else. Bedsheets were stained. The corridor was filled with ciggy smoke on the Vishu. We could hear loud music and talks from nearby rooms. We knew they were boozing and smoking even though it was written No smoking in the rooms. Didn't have a pleasant stay.

This hotel is situated in the town itself. They have good rooms and bar. Service is average. But food there is good

The hotel was neat and the rooms very nice, except the basement which could have been kept neat and well lit. The food and the service was also pretty good, the team was very responsive and accomodated all our requests.

Rooms are good and clean. But car parking at times is a head ache especially when some function is being held there in their halls.

Overall good, One disappointment us that, they have not adequately charged TV , kids got nothing to watch, sometime tv is required to calm kids, Another bad aspect is the stinky basement, smells like rotten fish

Excellent place to celebrate! Their banquet hall is well equipped and spacious to cater more than 100 people. The food they provided was scrumptious. Kudos to Chef Mr. Ajayan and team. Special mention to F&B manager Mr. Jithin who arranged everything at the venue. Appreciate Mr. Regi, General Manager for his kind cooperation and support all the time.

Ordered a twin pack of Onam Sadhya and Payasam from them and honestly it was a little underwhelming. I guess they were running low on Paysam since the staff only gave me half a litre of my 1 litre Payasam order that I paid Rs 350 for. The twin pack of sadhya that cost me Rs 900 was also not worth the high price as the quantity of items (like pappad, gulab jamun, chips and some curries) were on the low side and there was artificial red coloring added in the pickles. Overall, not satisfied with the service.

I stayed here for 3 days and it was really comforting! I appreciate each staff and management of VKJ hotel ...good hospitality .. and fresh atmosphere!

We had ordered for Onam Sadya for 3 people.Paid 300 Rs /Sadya but It was not at all sufficient for 2 people. Ruined our celebration by serving insufficient quantity of dishes. I will never ever order from this hotel again.
