    The best traditional place in bengaluru near laggere bridge, even though the vicinity has changed a lot but this place is joining the club of vintage home, everyone must visit this place to see the folk museum.

    A resource center for Janapada enthusiasts to learn and experience the diverse and rich folklore of Karnataka. Mr S Balaji who is the founder of the center, has built the widest network of folklorists and focuses on uplifting the youth to carry forward the folk culture and arts across the state. Very important and much needed step in preserving and promoting our heritage before all is lost. The inhouse museum contains many instruments and objects that are inherent to rural - our ancestral - lifestyles and ways which help to bridge the gap between urban and the rural.

    Dr.Balaji sir is the founder of kannada janapada parishad. It's the one stop solution for all folk related guidance and information. This centre also houses folk museum with rare collection of folk article, books, and archival materials. Anyone with interest towards folk should meet Balaji sir.
