A great place that gives you the complete experience of what it needs to make a Home and Work Space completely accessible. It's looking at showcasing all the Products and services that are available for Persons with different Disabilities. The Museum gives you an Insight into the Adaptive and Assistive Technological Advancements for easy and comfortable living. The Cafeteria upstairs is accessible with a Lift and gas a great View. Enjoy the Experience.. it's worth it. We had our DORAI Foundation's SWAYYAM SIDDHA AWARD Function here. Great work put in by Ms. Poonam Natarajan and Team. Best Wishes KVJ Dr Sumithra Prasad Founder General Secretary DORAI Foundation

It's a museum of two big rooms of different objects which would be helpful for differently-abled people. The simulation rooms are great to realize how differently-abled people think and work.

Museum of Possibilities and Museum Cafe An interesting museum initiative by TN State Directorate of Disabilities. This place displays of various products that will enhance the life of disabled and even senior citizens. The products are developed by private entrepreneurs, enterprises and can be bought from their respective websites or shops. The purpose of this museum is to showcase such products. The museum cafe is on the first floor, operated by disabled. With a beach view, this spacious dining hall brings a pleasant atmosphere. A good initiative by TN Government

I am Udaiyappan - Delegate (Hemophilia Society - Salem Chapter - Tamil Nadu) and I went to visit this MOP on October 17th, 2022. Operation Days & Timings : All Days except Tuesday. 11AM To 8PM. Overall Experience: MOP (Museum Of Possibilities) is a fantastic and highly recommended destination for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and Senior Citizens. It has Nice and Peaceful Ambience, Infrastructure, Modular Products, Hospitable Supportive Staffs, Wheelchair Accessible Pathway, Sensory Garden, Cafe on First floor (Lift Available). They have explained me about the Impact Wall, Talent Vaults (Products For Sale), Modern & Assistive technologies and utilities for major life domains (Modular Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Living Room), Games, Accessories which can be accessed by any PWDs and Senior Citizens from their comfortable places & positions. In the Cafe, spent some good and peace of time. Where they have explain me about the vocational training skill centre for the specially challenged people's and they served me best coffee and bites. Hosts Information : Museum Manager - Mr.Prabhakaran & Team Cafe Manager - Mr.Arun & Team Landmarks : Location : Opposite To Marina Beach Bus Stop : Vivekananda House

It's an ingenious initiative taken by Vidyasagar and Tamil Nadu Government to exhibit the latest technological and practical assistive devices for people with disabilities. It's much needed as our country is lagging behind in terms of disability awareness, inclusiveness and accessibility.

If you know senior citizens or people with disabilities who are looking for Accessible ideas for their Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom or Bathrooms then is museum has plenty of ideas implemented and also few nice folks available to explain in multiple languages. I wish similar one should be setup in all of our states

The experience was one of a kind. Every person should visit there atleast once to know the world of specially abled persons and try to make architecture of the buildings inclusive for them. School and college students must visit there. But the place is unaware to many people. The advertising technique must be improved so that it reaches many people.

It's such an informative visit. I really liked the adaptive art corner. I guess people should come up with such innovation to ease whomever is in trouble!

Thinking through the eyes of people with disabilities is something everyone of us should practise. This museum brings a scope for that. Small modifications in the common way can be immensely helping them is an eye opener for me. A place to visit for all. The cafeteria in the first floor has real tasty food that's loved by all... served with a crew that is very friendly.
