Good place to visit with Family and friends .. you can spend around 2 hours here.. should visit on Sunday to experience the lunch prepared by them. Lunch arranged by the management was good and we get can get multiple times without wasting.. very well maintained divine place.. children will love this place as it has small park with playable area for them to spend some time over there.. Also they are maintaining multiple restaurants but seems like rates are not budget.. Very good holy place to spend on weekend and have very large parking area.. can park lots of heavy vehicles. But during rainy season the parking place gets worsen.. no parking fee charged for bike and no visiting charges too.. just go and visit the place and enjoy the spirituality.. moreover it looks like church..

Pleasant and blissful place. Divine and serene, calm environment. Once you are in the temple you get disconnected from the outside world and lost in Krishna's beautiful and divine smile. You can spend at least an hr by meditating. You have counters for books and prasadam. Ample space for car parking.

They are very perfect sincere and timely in their daily routines. The whole area is maintained spotlessly clean. A very big area for parking cars. The main thing we miss is the typical south Indian temple ambience. Guess we need to get used to that. But in rainy season the approach road from ecr may be proposing problems to cars with less road clearance say 160mm and less, due to heavy water logging. I have seen small cars stuck in water.

The ISKCON Temple in Chennai is a serene and spiritually charged place that offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, the temple is known for its architectural beauty, intricate carvings, and vibrant spiritual atmosphere. Visitors often appreciate the calming ambiance inside the temple complex, where they can participate in prayer sessions, attend spiritual discourses, and witness engaging cultural performances. The temple also houses a vegetarian restaurant, contributing to the overall experience. However, the popularity of the temple can sometimes result in larger crowds, affecting the level of tranquility. Despite this, many find the visit to the ISKCON Temple in Chennai to be a spiritually enriching and culturally immersive experience.

Peaceful and cool is how I would describe it. I sat chanting there for the first time in my life in a hot July afternoon and it felt quite calming. They serve prasadam all day which is nice and there is no pressure to give money. The drinking water tap was dry. That was the only thing that could be better. The location though is not easy to reach. You will have to have a car.

Wonderful divine place to visit. Blessed to visit the temple and thee admirable architecture. Very pleasant to witness the beauty of the idols The admin has got buffet service in the temple which is not worth for the money we pay. This service makes the spiritual place into a business place. They have got food service restaurant also which is not good. Either improving the quality of food and taste or quitting the food service is better than making buisness in such a divine place.

Beautiful Krishna Temple. Abundant divinity. Excellent decorations.😂 Open from 7.30am to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 9.30pm. Lunch from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. They also have good vegetarian canteen and a bakery. Ample amount of parking including huge public toilets. They have very nice AC party hall for weddings.

The best place in Chennai for pure devotional lovers. A must visit Lord Krishna temple with such an excellent atmosphere to worship and seek blessings. The Architecture of the Temple is a delight to eyes. A private function hall is associated with the temple with a perfect, neat and clean ambience. Well maintained banquet hall with a peaceful restaurant with Nature's touch. Gift shop and the Kids play area is an added highlight for conducting functions. An ideal place for your family functions. Such a gem of a place to visit in Chennai

Neat, calm, peaceful.. not too crowded during the weekends either. Cool place to meditate if you're into it. Good snacks store, gift shop and restaurant attached. Car parking facility could be a whole lot better.

Great place with peaceful ambience. Since there are no building near to it, you'll always get chill fresh air coming into the temple. Parking and Toilet are not free (chargeable). Toilets doors, tap etc are broken and needs to be taken care of.

One of the biggest temples for Krishna built and established in Chennai by the ISKCON group. Hare Krishna. Maintained so well. It is less crowded compared to the Delhi temples. So serene and divine. The arthis are so detailed like any other ISKCON temples. The parking space is a little uneven.

The first thing you should do when you review a beautiful temple is to take a deep breath and take in the beauty around you. Take a moment to admire the intricate details of the architecture and the serene atmosphere. If you are able, light a candle or say a prayer. Then, spend some time walking around the temple, taking in the different sights and sounds. Be sure to visit the different shrines and statues, and take a moment to reflect on their meaning. Finally, take a few moments to sit down and simply enjoy the peacefulness of the temple

A serene and stunning temple situated within the city, conveniently reachable via both public buses and private vehicles. Lord Krishna, the main deity, is revered in a distinctive manner, emanating a truly divine and tranquil atmosphere. A bookstore offers a selection of devotional literature and gift items. Children will enjoy the small park with play areas provided for their entertainment. While multiple restaurants are available, it appears that their prices may not be budget-friendly. It's an excellent destination for a weekend retreat, boasting ample parking facilities.

Very peaceful environment. Food served in the food court is very tasty and hygiene. Only one request to the temple administrator Prabhu. Please, try to keep the commercial bit stuffs away from the Sanctum. You have plenty of space outside for the charity related activities. Thanks.

Beautiful Krishna temple situated in between OMR(Sholinganallur) & ECR (Akkarai). Premises cleanly maintained. Good space available for parking. Evening time lightings look awesome, wonderful. Sit & Meditate Lord Krishna. Bhajan conducted in evenings. Nice Marriage / Function hall available. Temple fully built in white marble. Temple architecture looks great. Great landmark in that surrounding area so easily accessible. Giving 4 star because canteen available but a bit costly which is not affordable by everyone for a low quantity food. Quality is great. Otherwise its should be 5 star. Hare Rama Hare Rama... Rama Rama Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna...Krishna Krishna Hare Hare... !!!!

Very beautiful spiritual place. You will enjoy the vibe. Shrines are so divine. Prasad shop is there where you can buy the god Prasad with reasonable price. Food court is also available there and menu is good. Great sitting place is there. But you have book any transport vehicle to reach there because it is little bit far from main road. If you will visit during evening you can enjoy the night view of the place.

Temple is at a peaceful location. Used to be less crowded and quiet 5 years back. But, now it's become more commercialized. More importance is given to other stuffs (such as selling books, renting marriage halls etc) than devotion. Huge Parking space is provided. Photography must be strictly prohibited but isnt the case when I visited the temple on New year's. Could be more organized on such special days when it's too crowded.

One of the peaceful temples in Chennai. Unlike other Krishna temples, ISKCON takes pain to decorate the deities beautifully on any given day. So you will always have the pleasure of seeing the most beautiful Lord Krishna. Though it is located in the southern end of Chennai city it will surely be worth a visit. They even have party halls to commemorate some special days like Naming ceremony, betrothal, engagement etc.

A great well maintained Krishna temple, a lift facility is also available for senior citizens. They even sell books like Gita and other spiritual related books in English as well as Tamil. They'll even take lecture classes in a specific time. (I don't know the exact timings). A food court is also available in the premises. Parking space is also clean and tidy. It's little bit away from the city that's the only drawback I can say.

Temple is clean. Atmosphere is fresh. But the devotees who do seva there come and interrupt our privacy by asking us to chant and join in their seva club(I personally faced it 5-6 times). Apart from that, temple environment is pleasant

The place is really good. It has big open parking. The covid-19 precautions r really well placed. Sanitiser n body temp machines r placed at d entrance. Also, for in n out, there r separate lines n partition is there in between. Since the rush is not much nowadays, one can have good Darshans i.e. stay in front of good n offer prayers.

Highly restricted. By limiting the ways and closing one of the doors, they are making it crowded and no social distancing is followed. Iskcon is generally a silent peaceful place. But this one is crowded and not so peaceful

Going on a weekday is a good idea as we did not find much people inside therefore had a good time inside without being scared of the virus , adherence to mask is definitely a big challenge specially in public places , it has to b made mandatory, the place was near, clean and the restaurant was functioning, we had bhelpuri and dahi Puri which was really tasty and cleanly made the eating area was also very clean ans maintained well. Brought Ghee from their shop which comes from their Madurai branch . They are open in the evenings from 4:30 and lunch is served from 12:30 pm . Do visit on a weekday to escape the crowd

It's a calm and pleasant experiencen to visit this temple. Have a spacious paid parking in front of the temple. Sanitization is mandatory before entering. Have dedicated space for shoe racks. Comparitively smaller version to other major cities, but the same divine experience. Have a prasad stall - offers both south as well west side dishes at reasonable price. There's a play area for kids. Restaurant also available with open space as well as air conditioned close area. Has tasty food, would say pricey. Clean restrooms are available at backside.

The vibe of this place feels different to the core. The chants of Hare Krishna Mantra and the melodious kirtans can be heard all the time here. Tastiest prasadam is being provided here, perfect food which is enough how much every is provided to be taken for fulfilling tummy. They provide many facilities for public and devotees to come and attend numerous events and spend time to become spiritually rich. Almost every languages' holy books and self development/reflection ancient to modern books are available here. I love to spend time here.

  • 4/5 Harinath C. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place to spend a evening. But 4 stars due to below, 1. Focussed on collecting charity money to run and feed large mass of its employees 2. Not devotee friendly as always - no drinking water, no toilets near by, one single lift in one corner 3. What the hell of 'pay and use toilet' - why does iskon have to beg for one ruppee per urinal???? Again no offence on iskon organization but my frustration is this local management messing up social service motive of spreading awareness with earning money to support themselves

Place is not issue it is tourist place. Peace may be early hours. Every one who visits ECR just steps in batches. They have a shop with no covid protocol followed or kitchen they cannot also as the crowd is like that. So plan your time. So essentially they cannot control. All the best better avoid as it was like super crowd

  • 3/5 Pradeep V. 2 years ago on Google
Photography strictly prohibited. Basically it is a temple to Krishna built I think in the form of a huge white chariot. Inside you can buy all ISKON books and publications. A prayer group was deeply in meditation. Car parking free and plenty of space. On the way out got a sambar rice.

As any other Iskcon temples always are, this was also a serene, divine, spacious and rich $hrine. The deities were resplendent in their costumes, couldn't take my eyes off them. A place away from the crowd, yet not far from the crowd. I went early morning. The restaurant and shops were not open yet.

ISKCON Temple in Chennai is an amazing place. It has a great ambience and is located in a place that is quite silent and calm. It always calms my mind and gives me peace when I visit this place.

Hare Krishna! The ISKCON temple in Chennai is beautiful and serene. You can worship these deities - Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nithyananda, Shri Krishna along with Shri Radha, and her friends, and most merciful Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Shri Subhadra. It is also a wonderful place to meditate. People doing Seva in the temple look very pious and are helpful.

I don't like the publicity of religion, which they are doing at ISKCON. We were born with our religion, we know how to pray. When someone gives instructions at the temple, we will not be free to warship and I will think twice before going to the temple.

I visited the temple and found it to be an average spiritual experience. The ambiance was peaceful, but nothing particularly unique or extraordinary stood out. It's a good place for those seeking a quiet moment of reflection, but don't expect any exceptional features.

New facility being made and hence it is an intermittent rating.. lot of vacant spaces for car parking which def can hold more than 300 cars at any time. Proper arrangements to b done for footwear though not a challenge now but a potential risk. Need to take a narrow side road, so a bottleneck possible with huge crowd. Definitely an enchanting spiritual space.

Nice place where you can feel the divineness of the place. I visited in the evening; it was not very crowded at that time. Some Bhajana was going inside the premises. Photography is not allowed inside the premises, but I could see some of them clicking pictures. Meditation sessions were going on inside; some of them were explaining about our culture and other things. There will be prasadam distributed outside the temple, and there is a canteen available on the left side of the temple. The washroom facility is available in the left corner, and they have maintained the hygiene. I'm not sure about the hotels available here. I can say it will be a must-visit for devotees.

What a divine energy of Lord Krishna. Every time I go in search of some divine peace, calm, spiritual and Happiness and Krishna never disappoints. Krishna is above me, behind me, within me, before me, he lives in the heart of every person who thinks of him. Hare Krishna 🌸🙏🦚

We can do meditation to our fullest satisfaction. Visiting devotees should maintain silence. The sales office adjacent to the temple sells several products of ISKCON.

A very beautiful ambience. This ISKCON Radha Krishna temple is located in Sholinganallur town (சோழிங்கநல்லூர்), 23 KM away from Chennai Central Rly station. It's the one among 500 such ISKCON temples spreaded all over the World. This temple area extends to 1.5 Acres with 7000 sft of beautiful temple construction. Don't miss it ever.

The temple is located in a very good location. It is maintained very well. The temple has ample parking space. The sore point was that while the temple had about 7 wheelchairs, at least five out of the seven were in completely condemned state and displayed right at the entrance. Out of the rest two, one was taken by a senior citizen, and the other by a resident Swamy, who had recently had a fall. Fair enough. However, the result was that a genuinely differently-abled person with congenital impairment of both legs had to walk up to the lift, walk around everywhere with obvious difficulty, and quickly get back to the car. I would like to appeal to the temple authorities to replace the wheelchairs that do not seem serviceable any longer.

Lovely place, one gets peace over there. But toilets are in worst condition. It would be great if that's taken care of. Lack of hygiene

temple is nice. Food and toilet facilities good. Car parking is good but they are collecting 50 rs. seems little bit high. 30 rs for parking is Good.

The place was nice and peaceful, really liked it. But i had a bad experience with the canteen area. My 4 years old kids got effected by current shock which was placed on small tree and it was hurted very much. The canteen area was not safe for kids, Please be careful. No one there to report this issue, After long waiting period - Some came and said they already know there was issue with power cables. i was surprised, after knowing that also no one cared about it. Really worried about their service, and someone should be there to share our concerns.

Jai shree Krishna.
