If you have visited a hotel a couple of times, you'll know the difference, one visit won't tell you all. And yes the service especially has gone down a bit and that's why 4 star 🌟. You need to retain its beauty and Glory even after several years. You need people to do that, good people. You also need to change, change what? Upholstery. You need more hotel trained staff and you need to new Upholstery. Make the room smell good too.

A great hotel with unmatched hospitality. I had a extended stay here and everything is nice, the food is good, the breakfast menu is pretty nice and the hotel staff is very courteous. The complimentary services, pastry every evening and two pieces of laundry per day were amazing. It has a small but functional gym as well. I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come again, the next time I am in Chennai.

The restaurant service was excellent & all the dishes at the buffet for the lunch were delicious & authentic. I recommend dining along with family and friends. Price for the buffet lunch is reasonable including the GST.

The hotel looks a bit rundown with one of the lifts not functioning and rooms having some dampness and odour when u enter. Rooms are large and spacious and bed is perfectly comfortable. The gym is small in basement and hardly space for any workouts. Buffet was avoided but looks like the restaurant was well preserved.

Enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast is awesome with lot of varieties. The daily complimentary cake is really appreciated. The staff is highly courteous and amicable. The room and bathroom was always clean from the interiors. Advice to management: Everything is perfect. Only thing that needs to be looked into is - Please clean the outer glass window panes of the rooms as it was very unclean.

1. TV not working . It has to be tested thoroughly before allocation of the room. TV functions must be user friendly. A TV access note is required 2. Bathroom Shower is not good. Flow adjustment is quite limited . Hot - Cold combination is challenging. 3. Bath Soap - Hand wash soap is required. Wash liquid is not adequate 4. Asked for the front view room at the time of Check-in , confirmed by the reception person while entered in the room realized that it was not having any view , 5. Breakfast timing is from 7 AM onwards but actually when entered at 710 AM , preparations were going on . Then better to keep the time from 730 AM onwards 6. Limited breakfast options for the Vegetarian . Should have more options. 7. Fruit Juices - Milkshakes were quite warm , if not chilled then at least it should be cold.

Very very average hotel for stay and food. Buffet had very little menu and they charge 1100 and the reason given was covid.. Also, for the very first time I see a star hotel charging extra for plates and glasses for in-room dining. Checked out the very next day and moved to Park Hyatt. Never coming back again.. Thanks..

Pros: -Excellent Location. Just 15 min to the airport during non peak hours. -Good food options at the restaurant downstairs at an excellent price for 5 star standards. Breakfast buffet is included with your stay and has a good number of options. -Nice to have enough complimentary water bottles supplied inside the room throughout the stay (3-4 per day) so no trouble of buying a set from outside or paying exorbitant prices - Not sure if prices were down due to COVID, but pricing was quite inexpensive, so very good value for money. Cons: -Not as clean and spotless at multiple places, we happened to lift the bed up to find something that fell down and it was quite filthy there (It's a tough to reach place but still). - Some of the equipment/finish inside the room feels a little old. Overall feels like a high end 4 star hotel instead of a proper 5 star. - It can get a bit crowded with a lot of events and also a happening bar downstairs - Soundproofing isn't perfect. I heard some TV noise from the next room for a few hours on one day.

Your miseries will mount if there is rain in the Chennai city. You will witness water clogging and because of its proximity to the airport you will not find any cabs willing to drop you. Hotel has limited drop services and this you have to book the cab in advance at the front desk if you do not want last moment surprises!

the hotel has seen better days. the quality of service and hospitality has certainly gone down. upsides of our stay - the only major advantage it poses at this point is it's location, given it's proximity to the airport - they offer early check-in and late check-out which was a definitive edge over some other hotels in this range - the food was good both at the breakfast buffet and the dine-in room service, albeit overpriced for the portion size - since we were staying there for lesser than a few hours and we were opting for an early check-in, they transferred our complementary breakfast to the day of our stay instead of the morning after, as it typically would be downsides of our stay - the toilet had visible stains which was disturbing to experience in a hotel of this class - the hallway leading to our room was shoddy, almost as if it were used as a storage space - and our room overlooked a dump yard - we were given a room with twin beds and not a double bed - the service at the buffet was highly underwhelming with unkempt tables and lack of something as basic as cutlery and napkins which we had to repeatedly request for

The hotel was very nice and staff really helpful. Checked in ok with no issues. Staying in 1 room with my elderly parents, so happy to see a nice clean room. Had some dinner in the room which was very tasty. Ordered my car for the 6.30am the day before and some boxed breakfast since we were leaving before the restaurant was open for breakfast. Breakfast box was disappointing. The service up to that point was excellent but the boxed breakfast was not great. After such a great service, let down by the breakfast box's.

One of the top 3-Star Business hotels in Chennai. Prime location at Guindy, Great ambience & food, Kids friendly. Staff were polite and helpful. Standard Rooms could have been a bit bigger considering the furnishing but then again that could be a strategy to upgrade to a larger suite. Anyways, a memorable Business trip experience.

On the day, I was at at hotel front desk early and they allowed me check in with warm welcome. Every staff in hotel whom I met greeted me as if I am a guest whom they were waiting to arrive. Mr. Ramesh, General Manager, took some time off from his work schedule, to discuss with me about my stay and took my technical suggestion as how they should implement the ongoing building management system to make it customer friendly. He even offered me a drop in his car to the nearest metro station, when I was checking out. Hence to sum it up, my stay at Hotel Hablis - A Home away from my home.

Stayed at the hotel with a group of friends. While the overall experience was enjoyable, there were some mixed aspects. The food was okay, not exceptional but satisfactory. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for renovation during my stay, which was quite disappointing as I was looking forward to using it. I wish the hotel management or the travel booking platforms had notified us in advance. On a positive note, the housekeeping service was excellent. The staff ensured that the rooms were well-maintained and clean throughout my stay. The rooms were decent and provided a comfortable atmosphere. I hope that the next time I visit, the amenities are fully available, making for an even better experience.

Location is good. The rooms was well appointed. However, food selection is poor - very limited choices in the room service menu. Even though on one occassion, I complained about the food, the response was cold. Usually the chef speaks with you to understand what was wrong, but that did not happen. Also, the overall food quality was not in-keeping with that of a premium property. Special note of appreciation for Mr. Sreenivas (Hotel Cab Driver). He was polite, engaging, and very thoughtful. He deserves to play a more active role with regard to guest engagement. Minus my engagement with him, I would have rated the overall experience less than satisfactory.

Stayed here very recently and had a lpoor conditioning in lobby at all in a luxury hotel is very surprising. The rooms had dirty wallpapers on the walls. Breakfast was below average. I will give good reviews about clean towels and bed sheets though. The staff was good as well.

Location is good, Rooms are good, Employees are good, spice breakfast awesome. Prices are very high and No swimming pool which is under renovation. No other entertainment other than sitting in room and watching only limited channels. Good only for people who wants to sit at room required no other relaxation. My suggestion to hotel is if no other facilities at hotel, you can think of prices who way higher than Market standard. I am totally disappointed 😌

One of the best place to stay close to all accessible area. Easy access to metro and local train station. The room is neat and clean and the housekeeping and security service staffs are very hard workers. The restaurant and front desk staff need to be little more polite and soft talk to customers. They are not rude but felt like always talk in rush. The hotel looks busy with corporate staff stay and meetings that’s make little crowded in restaurants. The pool is closed almost a year. That needs to be fixed asap. The price is little high when there is no facility such like pool not available this price is high. WiFi is not great the speed was very low and keep get disconnected. The mobile signals are not available very much when you go more than 2 floors. Overall it is good place and high price.

Note that this review is only for the restaurant. I thought the buffet was decent with tons of choices. Some of the items were a little too spicy but overall..... I would say that the choices were good to have.

Nice hotel near to airport for overnight stay during layover. Nice food options and room service. nearby to Guindy Metro and other eateries. Rooms are very spacious with some retro fitting in the bath and nice personal touches to some of the amenities. Swimming pool was not available during both our stays as some work was going on and hope it opens up soon.

This is a review for Chef Vinod. We hired him for an outdoor wedding catering service where he had to cater to both Spanish and and Indian crowd. The food was amazing and delicious. As exactly asked, he gave us a spread that both crowds could enjoy every single dish on the menu. The Guests even came to us and asked about the catering service. Thank you for your lovely service and would highly recommend Chef Vinod for any of the events.

A very good business hotel located near the airport. An old property that is still well maintained, the rooms were comfortable but not great, the wedding halls were good, and the food was average. The service was commendable and the hotel offers decent parking space.

Rooms, service, location everything is good. However, the Wi-Fi sucks, it shows No internet most of the times. And, I faced a bit of issue with lift as there was only 1 lift that was operational which increased the waiting time as it used to stop at almost every floor. Also the restaurant tables are mostly booked already and outside food isn't allowed inside due to which we couldn't order anything and had to go out for dinner everyday.

Our event happened on 23rd Jan,2023 Our worst experience on banquet hall. We are totally disappointed with the service provided by hotel staffs especially the head of banquet hall. 1. Dinning you said you will be putting 8 rounds tables but could see only 2 round tables. Everyone felt difficult to have lunch since the plate itself weight. 2. You said till 4.30pm we can occupy the hall but your team asked to vacate the hall at 3pm itself since photography team got irritated and no time to capture the pictures as planned. 3. The Dinning room which you allocated is not at all clean and dust. Then our family asked to clean the room with room fresher. Then it was cleaned properly. 4. *Food is not good*. I'm not at all satisfied with the taste of food. Many guest said even panner butter masala was not good. 5. The white chairs at 2 rows are not clean . We could more yellow patches on that. I have a question why during the booking time our planned discussion is different and the function time the approach is different. Stage size has been limited by hotel . We felt very uncomfortable to get blessings from the family peoples. Completely ruined our day. Here after I won't recommend any of our friends or family or our office event to do function or event over here. Thanks for your worst service on our special day.

All service were dead slow except Luggage pickup while check out. For each & every service have to call multiple times & remind. Staffs were behaving like I’m staying for free of cost. Even after spending Somuch, not at all satisfactory. Valet parking was Good , Drivers did their job well. From the Hotel reaching airport is nearby and kind of felt easy access for my work. Other than that nothing is worth. I’m a regular visitor just because of the Location, But still the way of treatment is like a Lodge. They’ve kept expired cool drinks restaurants & I’ve informed that and they’re least bothered about that. *I will not recommend Hablis* Vishnu

Positives: 1. Prime location 2. Room bous and securities are very well behaved Negatives: 1. No amenities for the price they charge 2. There was regular smoke smell coming inside the room from vents. When complained, the management behaviour was very rude. They didn't even apologise or tried to make us comfortable but was very interested in masking their issues. 3. For extending 2 hours of our stay they asked half a day's price even after staying with them for a week. 4. Construction work is always going on.

We went to this hotel for team lunch. Food is good and the way they served is very nice. I enjoyed the food. But only one request to the hotel is treat veg and non veg people as same. They missed veg eaters while serving the food. Also in buffet please give more and good options for veg too. Note : first ever time I have seen halwa in buffet menu. The way they prepared the halwa is good. Very good taste and really I surprised and enjoyed the food.

1. The room smelt stale. I don't think the draperies were washed ever since the hotel opened. 2. At least three power outlets did not work. Had hard time charging my phones and apple watch. 3. On the first day of check in there were no hand towels in the bath room. On the second day there were no towels at all. 4. The bath room was slippery. Chances of falling is high very dangerous for seniors. I had to spread a towel on the bath room floor and stand on it to shower. 5. The bath room requires bright light. I have never seen such poorly lit bath room any where. 6. During breakfast time, I found a fly on the table. I called the manager and he did not bother to address the issue. Later a server came and killed it. No apologies. 7. Though I was informed of a late check out, they insisted on vacating at 1, latest by 2. I satayed at Royal Meridien, twice in the last 4 months, they allowed me till 5pm. And their reception area and lobby were great. 8. The lobby was very small and no comfortable seats to relax. I ended up going to airport at 3pm to catch a 10pm international flight to stay comfortable. 9. Choice of food in buffet breakfast was minimal compared to other hotels. HOWEVER FOOD WAS VERY TASTY THOUGH CHOICE WAS LIMITED.

The hospitality and staff support we experienced throughout the stay was absolutely outstanding. The reception staff, Mr.Dayaraghav was extremely efficient, handling the check-in process swiftly and smoothly, while also taking time to provide all info about the hotel facilities. The concierge team deserves a special mention for their exceptional assistance. It was our daughter’s birthday and the hotel staff was kind enough to arrange a birthday cake. This personal touch added a warmth to outstay, making it even more memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend Hablis to anyone seeking a hospitable experience.

In addition to the comfort and the service. I would like to highlight the honesty, integrity and diligence of the staff, housekeeping and reception plus the security. I had forgotten around 7200 Rs. in a drawer in the room, the housekeeping staff found it, informed the front desk and security. I returned and received the amount from the hotel security. This experience highlights that very good people exist I thank the hotel management for employing such trustworthy and honest personnel.

my stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. While the polite and friendly staff made a positive impression, the lack of cleanliness in the room was a major letdown. I sincerely hope that the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and takes immediate steps to improve the cleanliness standards. Hotel location, Room cleanliness, Room space etc. are really good. They claim it's 4 star. But it's definitely not worth for 4*. I feel it's not worth for the money we pay. Instead, Feathers is just slightly costlier than Hablis, but definitely much better than Hablis.

I have paid almost 7000 INR for one night. So this is not budget hotel. There is DRILLING noise from 9.00 am onwards.. we cannot able to sleep .. is there is a maintenance work.why you are taking hotel booking / or why you are charging full room rent..8) there is no pool.. while booking through Make my trip its mentioned pool available. ( all above I have already communicated to Make my trip as well ). 9) last point .. Hotel attendees keep on asking money for any free service.. Went there @10.15 am I was told breakfast session over. I can some snacks in cafe. Order was taken 20 min late and supplied food another 30 min later. Asked for water bottle and was given another 30 min later. After finishing food waited for bill no one turned up. Went to reception twice and after second request a guy came asked what did you consume. After telling that after 15 min later bill was brought. All together I was in hurry mood did not even check the billing paid cash and left. The staff attitude has to change a lot.

Room was clean and the customer service was good. But people were roaming around without a mask, including in the elevator and in the reception counter as well. I ordered curd rice which wasn't seasoned at all, onion pakoda was too crispy with no onions.

We went to this hotel on 21/10/2021 for our cousin Marriage,during the lunch I was shocked to see the staff of the hotel is having food where the buffet was placed.what a hospitality. What irritated me was he took 2 chairs(1 chair to sit and 1 chair to keep his plate) the most funniest part is he was taking selfi. I understand the staff was hungry or the food might have tempted.If you really want to have some food take it leave the hall and have it.Otherwise the food was good and the staffs where very cooperative.

Restaurant staff are rude towards the customer. We ordered a fried rice but it tastes raw in nature. We had only two spoons and returned a entire rice, they charged for that. When we tried to explain the same, the manager threatened us, that they will call the security to get out of the hotel. Being a women I felt very unsecured of entered into the hotel. I personally recommend not feeling safe.

In the whole hotel, service of F&B was very poor. And they are very rude and they try to cheat in the entire billing. Once we catch, they said sorry for the same. We should be aware of the same before paying the money. F&B staffs are not upto the mark. They can work in local hotel not In these type of hotel.

Spice Restaurant in Hablis Hotel - Buffet Lunch for 2 and 4 pint beers ~ Rs. 3700. Nice ambience, courteous staff, good range in the buffet and tasty food. Small lobby, decent loo, seating is a little crowded. If it was full, it would have been inconvenient and noisy. A bit pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for. If it was about 20% cheaper, it will rate 5 stars for sure.

Very bad experience with the buffet lunch. Not a good option available. Just starters on a plate they provide. Food was nominal and not so good. Meat was not so good and in gravies there was no meat. Dessert had very few options. Not sure whether we were late but still not a good experience. The welcome drink was a nightmare.

I had a long stay in Hablis for over a week. The staffs were very friendly and approachable for any problem with the stay. Housekeeping was done everyday. Very good job done by Mangai. She made sure I had the room clean and comfortable, everyday. Food was also amazing in terms of taste and variety.
