Loved the place which feels like royal ambiance with high quality maintained, rooms are fully sanitized and properly cleaned which we need these days. They has many food varieties, swimming pools, seperate functions and party halls, many more They also held many events and functions programs over there. It has all in one place to inaugurate your occasions. Perfect way for resorts to chill with your family and friends:)

I have always loved this place and go there often. How you guys got everything wrong this time, this is one off experience I would like to share which has appalled me. Reservation: I have called to book a table at spectra, Call gets transferred, and the line gets disconnected after several rings, this happened couple of times and finally I got hold of someone to reserve a table. The person at the reservation took my booking and as this visit was for my wife’s birthday celebration, I informed her what message has to be written on the cake. This information was not passed on to the bakery and they did it after we arrived. The concerned person told me that she would get back to me for other queries and she never returned my call. Service: We got our cake delayed and by this time our 2.5year old toddler got cranky. At one point my wife ordered a pizza, and the pizza was served cold, the service person was trying to convince us that the pizza was made just now, however the pizza was not hot, after requesting again we got a hot pizza. The service person was supposed to return the birthday cake and we also forgot to ask. Room Temperature: Since it was raining outside the weather got a little cold and the area, we were sitting in got very cold. As we were with a toddler, we requested to increase the temperature and the place we were sitting was literally empty. By the time they actioned this we were leaving already. I come there for good service, ambience, and food, except food the other two were a disappointment. Please take this as constructive feedback and improve your service. Thank you

I got the city, backwater and sea facing view with 2 balconies. It was good but wish I had got just the sea facing only as backwater area had lot of garbage and wasn't a pleasant view to be honest. Room service: was not great at night. I had requested for cutlery and extra sheets. I had to remind them multiple times and it was annoying. But otherwise, hospitality is really great. I wish the bathroom had latch from inside. Lol! Breakfast buffet was amazing. Tasty and varieties of food. It was satisfying.

This hotel has become one of my favourite. The very first reason is service and when you check in then you are welcome like a special guest. The hotel uses actual flowers for room freshener so that means you are inhaling fresh natural scented air. The rooms are good, breakfast menu is fine however during our event the menu which we had in lunch was not that tasty what I expected. I tried out the Chinese restaurant which seems to be pretty good and the manager will definitely suggest you what right you should order on your preferences. Overall I had a good experience and the stay was awesome. I do recommend to my friends and relatives.

Beautiful hotel. Have stayed before and would stay again. I get the sense they are still investing in staff though. The check in was mixed and confused. Housekeeping took all day despite 4(!) requests. And breakfast was a free for all with no real guidance. That said, the woman in the club lounge was wonderful (I forget her name, but from Nagaland). And the lunch in the Indian restaurant was great. As said, I’d stay again but hope management continues to invest in people - still needed in my opinion for a true too hotel stay.

The best Hotel and the most Luxurious rooms in Chennai without a doubt. The view from the room is amazing (I got a room with balcony that had views to the Adyar river meeting the Bay of Bengal). Each and every member of the staff is well trained. The Breakfast buffet spread is sumptuous. Have seldom experienced such hospitality standards in India recently... Keep it up guys...

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon with some family. Leela Palace was perfect hotel to select. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Ajay especially helped with our visit. The food was delicious and the buffet always had a ton of options. Make sure to go to the spa while you are there. It was extremely relaxing. Overall we would definitely stay there again while in Chennai. Two small criticisms. There were only two operating lifts which is unacceptable for a hotel of the size and number of guests. We often had to wait a long time. Second, we requested a romantic setup with flowers in the room. The room was plain when we arrived and there was no honeymoon setup at all.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! I found the rooms to be comfortable, the pool was great and the staff very attentive. A place such as this is clearly one of luxury, and from the outside the interiors are stunning. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent food service and variety of cuisine with traditional dishes. Located only 45 minutes away from the airport. I strongly recommend a stay to experience its richness.

OUTSTANDING!! That's how I would describe this place if I was asked to do it in one word. Everything, right from the service, the facilities, location, hospitality, amenities everything, everything is TOP-NOTCH. We had booked a normal city view room and had checked into it after our arrival at the hotel in the afternoon. Upon enquiry, the manager upgraded us to a sea-view room in the evening at no extra cost, really appreciate this gesture from their side. The room itself is quite spacious and has a fantastic view of the Bay of Bengal along with all the basic as well as luxurious amenities. The washroom also is on the bigger side has a view of the ocean as well. It has a bath tub apart from a dedicated shower area, washbasin and loo. Cleanliness and comfort in the room is second to none and it truly feels luxurious. Coming to the overall hotel as such, the lobby itself is massive with comfortable sofas and chairs for you. It's got a heritage feel to it decorated with paintings, flowers and antique furniture. Pool area wasn't accessible due to covid restrictions hence I wouldn't be able to comment on it. The garden area is fine but it was quite dark when we visited in the evening. One feedback to the management would be to enhance their lighting in the garden area. Not sure if the lights are there and weren't switched on or whatever, but it was quite dark and not well lit. The corridors on each floor are lined up with paintings on either side and it truly gives a feeling of being in a palace. Coming to the restaurant, we had pre-booked dinner and breakfast in the Spectra restaurant and were satisfied with our experience. The dinner has quite a wide spread with a lot of variety of different kinds of cuisines and dishes. The breakfast also has a good mix of Indian, south Indian as well as western dishes. A special mention for the staff of this hotel, they were some of the most hospitable and warm set of staff I've ever seen. Right from the valet, to the reception desk to the bell boy to the waiters in the restaurants to the managers and the senior people. Everyone go out of their way to truly make you feel like a king. The staff of this hotel definitely deserve a special mention for all their hospitality and warmth towards their guests. Kudos to them. Would definitely recommend the Leela Palace Chennai for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Chennai.

One of the worst team managing "hospitality". Avoid this hotel to keep your blood pressure under control. Even after paying 40K per suite room, you will not be served water in room, soup in restaurant neither. You have to literally beg.

I was staying in the suite room. And the hotel is really not okay. Never gonna visit it again. For the price I paid. Nothing is good. Rooms, space, service. Nothing is. Only the food was great 👍 And the pool. The Leela Palace is like a palace literally and that's how the service is supposed to be specially for suite owners.. they cost a Bomb. But nothing special. Never visiting Chennai Leela Palace again

One of the best hotels in Chennai. The Leela team are the people who really works towards the meaning of what a five star hotel should be. They have the best spa service in Chennai. My other significant half really had a relaxed and rejuvenated evening. The food is great, a bit expensive but worth it. The staff are very courteous especially the house keeping staff. They were able to fulfill all our requests as we had a baby with us. The valet is quick in picking up the car but the delivery is a 10 minute wait. Its a bit expensive but planning ahead can reduce booking rates. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Chennai.

One of the very best hotels in the world with hospitality, facilities and restaurants to match. Everything about this hotel is simply perfect from the concierge, room service, restaurants, gym, pool, personnel. Look forward to returning when the pandemic is over. It has been 3 years since I've been there. I miss everything about this hotel

Had dinner and drinks in Spectra, with a couple of friends. Buffet dinner. Very well maintained place, good spread etc, whatever is par for the course in a top star hotel, except a couple of issues. The Buffet is really spread out and from where I was seated, I really had to hunt for the veggies main courses. The other issue was the buffet utensils were very heavy and when you open a lid, it was not really obvious where to keep it, and it was a major head ache to serve yourself. The service staff really respect your privacy 😉 and I had to request my friends to help out. Not the kind of professionalism you expect from a place like this.

Last week, I had the pleasure of enjoying a buffet dinner at the magnificent Leela Palace Chennai. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was truly captivating. The elegant decor, combined with the soft lighting and soothing music, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I immediately felt relaxed and comfortable upon entering. The buffet spread itself was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The variety and quality of the dishes provided were truly outstanding. From Indian delicacies to international cuisines, there was something to please every palate. The live cooking stations added an interactive element, allowing me to witness the talented chefs prepare fresh and mouthwatering dishes right in front of me. The service at Leela Palace Chennai was truly commendable. The staff members were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the offerings. They made sure to check on me frequently, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. One aspect that stood out to me was the attention to detail. From the beautifully arranged food displays to the perfectly set tables, every aspect of the dining experience was meticulously planned and executed. Moreover, the restaurant also took hygiene and safety measures very seriously, which was very reassuring in the current times. Sanitization stations were readily available, and the staff members adhered to all necessary protocols. Overall, my buffet dinner experience at Leela Palace Chennai surpassed all expectations. The combination of delectable food, stunning ambiance, attentive service, and stringent safety measures made it a truly memorable evening. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Chennai.

This place is worth the money you would pay. They have all the amenities and quite an art studio. The place is quite lively and must visit sections including the pool side. I would recommend paying a visit once. It will be an awesome experience I guarantee.

The rooms are spacious with all the essential things for your comfortable stay. The beds have foam mattresses. The geography of the property is kind of confusing. Need more property maps on the location. I had been there for a corporate event. The food served to us in the buffet was decent. The property has two restaurants on premises again with decent food. There is an infinity pool and the beach is pretty much quiet and clean. The management needs to train people to understand more than the local language especially the concierge, as it becomes difficult for them to communicate with the guests.

I liked the view, more than the ambience. Off course the ambience is good. Food is really good, as we opted for buffet. I felt the buffet menu isn't quite long, but the taste was ok to good. We went on a weekday for the lunch. So it was not crowded, staff were polite & helpful. On a whole it is a good experience.

I stayed here for a day. The hotel is a perfect stay if you want to make your time worthwhile. The vibes are fabulous to have a chilled evening and excellent food. I tried the dinner buffet, and the food was great, but the menu could be improved with more delectable Indian dishes. I highly recommend staying here for a memorable stay and enjoying the stunning architecture around the hotel

Very luxurious hotel. Awesome room. Great food a bit over-priced compared to what i paid in a similar type of hotel in Goa a week before. Big spread of food. Staff were just great. Very polite and helpful. Will certainly stay here. Don't book expecting beach access!! You can see the ocean though from you room

Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff and amazing facilities. They were extremely helpful when we needed anything and the staff was very friendly with our two young kids. They really expedited the check in process with was great since we were exhausted from traveling and the kids were worn out, which we really appreciated. We spent a ton of time at the pool with the kids and they had a great time. The breakfast every morning was great.

Stayed there 3 nights with interconnected rooms. Very good service. Front desk and managers are excellent. Butlers are well trained. Rooms are designed and decorated by someone who is a master of it. The best thing about Leela Palace Chennai is that you feel like home just when you enter the lobby. Thank you The Leela.

Incredible property, incredible rooms, beyond incredible service! The spread for the dinner and breakfast buffet was vast and tasty even. We went at a time which was crowded and the staff were getting stretched to their limits but even through all this they did not let the quality of service waiver. They always had a smile and they were putting in the effort to keep us comfortable. The pool is large and our kids enjoyed it through our stay. The rooms have large bathrooms, equipped with bath tub and separate shower cabins. Very cosy!

Great ambience. Clean and beautiful with fresh flowers at the lobby. The staff are mostly helpful and friendly with a few being ignorant or indifferent. Not much of things to do here. Food is pricey but excellent. Breakfast buffet is good. The rooms are mostly well maintained, few amenities are troublesome but the hotel service is quick to rectify the issue. Would recommend for a short stay, good for business visits or get togethers.

We had reserved for our family gathering at spectra. It was almost 25 people, and when we arrived ON TIME, they were trying to figure out seating. Seriously?!? What's the point of reserving ahead? And they ended up giving us bar chairs ( imagine 60 ans 80 year old sitting there and it's buffet). The reason was that the other settings were booked. We left around 11 and saw that it wasn't. I request the management to be mindful next time around. We came here to have a great dining experience during our visit to India and this definitely wasn't great. Few of us stayed back to enjoy libraryblu. We enjoyed our time there!!

The food is outstanding, the restaurant is beautifully appointed, and the staff were all attentive and warm. The menu offers a wide range of choices, from traditional American to exotic international dishes. The ambience is amazing; the high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and live music truly create an atmosphere of elegance and opulence. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for an exceptional dining experience. Five stars all round!

Stayed for 1 night to celebrate B'day. Hospitality and service excellent. Buffet has good variety, but taste is not that good when compared to other 5 star hotels. No lights on the ceiling in the bedroom making it a dull place to even take a photo . There is no outlet/drain in the washroom making it a flooded area, no privacy in the bath tub area or rest room. When visiting as a family with kids, needs special attention towards these points. Not worth 10k for 1 night surely because of the various lacking areas which made the stay unpleasant.

Went for a staycation, Relaxed welcome at the entrance. Ambience was so good, real flowers all over the place which gives us a pleasant experience every where you go. Access to swimming pool was in the third floor where you can go through the lift.Security wise you need your room access card tapped in your lift navigating between floors as they give 2 access cards you can put one in the room and take one with out.Buffet at spectra was a complimentary for both dinner and breakfast, if you want to enjoy at the restaurant go early because it's rushed even in weekdays, can't try out more options on the menu. Otherwise was a different experience altogether, need to go one more time for sure.

Overall buffet was good. Ambience was great. We booked a table facing sea and with broken bridge view. We received a warm welcome. Staffs were very kind. Kept on asking about the feedback of every dish. When i said lemon flavor was dominating in fish he immediately took responsibility and made sure i was provided a proper one. Impressive service. Surprisingly Briyani was good. I liked it. Chicken with Oyster Sauce was amazing. Must try one there 😎 Litchi shots were awesome 😋

Well, staying at this hotel in Chennai is an amazing experience altogether. Starting from the reception staff to the room service , food , spa services - Impeccable hospitality . Not to underrate the magnificent ocean view you get from the windows. All in all, shout-out to Sobika & Anubhav for helping me out , not only for the warm welcome & smooth checkin /checkout , but also for the shopping tips/ places around . Long way to go for them and the rest others ! At the end of the day , people are the core for any organization and Leela Palace have some serious good folks that value and trust hospitality over anything else . Keep it up!

I stayed for one night there. The check in process was delayed because of late check out from a group. But they front desk and the Manager on duty was extremely good, trying to make the best of the awkward situation and went out of the way to make us comfortable. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and comfortable, the Chinese restaurant is very good. The staff are friendly and very efficient. I wanted to particularly applaud the manager on duty Mr Priyan, who also happens to be the security chief. Will definitely recommend this place and will be going there again.

Very luxurious hotel. Awesome room. Great food a bit over-priced compared to what i paid in a similar type of hotel in Goa a week before. Big spread of food. Staff were just great. Very polite and helpful. Will certainly stay here. Don't book expecting beach access!! You can see the ocean though from your room

I can't say enough about the quality of this hotel. Everything was magnificent. Spa was glorious, breakfast buffet was great. I highly suggest the Chinese restaurant, excellent. Gym is spacious and stocked with everything you would need. The pool is quiet and relaxing. All the service is top notch, and they will cater to your every need. Best hotel I have stayed at in India.
