This place looks cool and pleasant. I would suggest this mall to place a mini board near the entrance with the restaurants name in it. That should be better or at least a bright board named their name! We found difficult to find this place. Just a suggestion 🤗. But I like the way the security’s invited us.

I didn't stay there, however I went to the club. Albeit I don't drink. I was sober still danced like hell. I really had fun. The space is not big still you can manage to dance if you want. I didn't go anywhere than club. But I had some glimpses of the interiors while entering, it looks like everything is well decorated. The lights make them more gorgeous.

This Place was my first ever staycation in a five-star hotel. I had a good time with their ambience and occupancy this place Has a very luxury environment and three restaurants in the hotel . first of all check process are very quick . Their lobby itself a good place to spend time. The room was so good and satisfying, they were very clean and I specially love the view from the eighth floor The French glasses in the room ,it was like we’re near the clouds every corner of the room was beautifully designed and it was so comfortable , the bathroom was also so luxury and neat with hot and cold water, bathtub, and the essentials.They provided good food,every place in the property was very beautiful to spend your quality time with your loved ones. staffs were also very polite & healpfull. This place is a good choice for a staycation. I really love the place and ill make a frequent visit

Very happy with the place overall. Very neat and clean all over , tasty food and good spread . The rooms are well maintained and staff are proactive to ask for any concerns in the cafeteria or front desk. Had some accounts problems but Manager Mr Kunal just solved it without even me explaining much , very happy to rate the place 10/10 due to him . Some minor issues in the buffet service but the managers asked for feedback proactively and made changes .

Love this hotel. No complains at all. Rated 4 stars only because I don't understand why out of all the complicated dishes they can cook, simple pasta they can't serve at night. Pasta and sauces is one of first things any chef learns. Why can't that be part of menu. Takes minutes. Every Marriott I stay in has it, but this Westin steers away from pasta dishes at night. Creativity of housekeeping staff is too sweet not to mention.

Just gone for dinner there in Madras kitchen restaurant. The food was just ordinary. Absolutely no spices in any of their items even in chettinadu style. Food was also not hot. The only plus point would be the wonderful ambience and hospitality. Nothing else special about the place.

One of the Beautiful hotels inside the city. Easy to access location, enough parking space, multiple banquet halls available. Food was too good. I would say I had the best starters in this hotel. It was all perfectly cooked. I had Malabar fish curry which was simply superb. Perfectly cooked and no fish smell at all. It was like authentic south Indian home cooked fish curry.

Located in prime location and has all the amenities you can think of. The food is very tasty and I was surprised to see so much choice. The Staff are quite hospitable and they take customer feedback seriously and attend to your greviances very promptly. My only Issue was with the rooms. The bathroom door does not have any bolt/lock and can easily slide open and is a serious privacy issue, especially if you are sharing the room with a colleague. You can see the glass partition in the photos as well.

We went for lunch, the buffet was good. A few of the dishes were outstanding and some of them were below average for their standards. They even have night club willows, it's a nice place to hang out with friends. The Dj Boo was giving a good vibe, l liked the commercial music set. One thing which I didn't like there is the smoking area. It's a small one hardly 4 members can stand inside. Other than that I liked that place

Reviewing the Heavenly Spa and gym at Westin Velachery here: Enjoyed repair and restorative massage, as well as a much-needed facial, at Westin Velachery Heavenly Spa. Brought one of my team members as a thankyou after our work...and then scheduled for the weekend, just for me. The Spa staff are excellent and knowledgeable, even including the foot reflexology in the massage. The gym works well, 24 hours daily, which is perfect when everyone has traveled from a variety of timezones. Staff there encourage visitors to interact / ask for help or guidance. The view when exercising is along the length of the lovely outdoor pool. Will be swimmable again after covid restrictions are lifted.

Attended meeting, Aesthetics of rooms are good. Food is also good. The staffs were good and gave priority to customers. common rest rooms near meeting rooms require some improvements like fixing the automatic faucets when more people occupied some faucets were not functioning properly. Urinals sometimes not functioning properly. Otherwise enjoyed the service and aesthetics.

It is a great place to stay. I was on a business travel, we had meetings in the conference hall. Great amenities, there is a pool. Rooms are kept clean and maintained very well. You get a complementary buffet breakfast. Staff are super friendly. This place is closer to Phoenix mall which is a happening and great place for hangout. You can opt for an airport drop from hotel. Food was good and tasty. Room service was good.

One of the best luxury hotels in Chennai. The ambience is too good. The food was tasty, fresh. The staffs were amazing. Easily accessible. It has a huge lounge and photo friendly spots. For me, Westin was never heard of before. But after my visit, it is in the top half of my favorite hotels.

I have been to one of their restaurants (MKC) and liked it. Although I feel like they haven’t changed their menu in long. The hotel is an absolute stunner, the rooms are a class and the service is top notch. For events, the food wasn’t that great. Parking is abundant.

Really good hotel. Staffs are really polite, helpful and well trained. Only issue I felt was the options in buffet lunch was kinda plain and simple. Didn't have much of a variety in it. But everything tasted great.

This is one great place to be at while in Chennai- right in almost heart of city and proximity to airport. Got some good aesthetics in the room and the view is good. People were quite welcoming and the staff is very courteous. On room dining was bit disappointing with sandwiches 🥪 but overall it's good 👍

Wonderful stay with very attentive staff and excellent food! We especially appreciated Sous Chef Dharwan and Restaurant Manager Logan, who made sure our restaurant experience was always excellent. The housekeeping staff always did a great job and we appreciated their towel sculptures. We look forward to our next visit!

Went for Team Lunch in Seasonal Tastes. The food was not bad. Veg foods were better. Juices were not up to par. They simply added the cold water and the escense. The servers were very friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels for business and Events. Good spacious rooms. Great food , lovely bar , Great ambience with different menu of street food type.. Breakfast spread is good . Staff is very proactive , service oriented at every level including the GM.

I loved my stay at Westin! I was there for about 8 days and really liked the place. Rooms, service, food, gym, yoga class - everything is awesome! I went to the spa as well. Liked everything except the products they used. There is certainly a room for improvement there. Highly recommend it and will go there again!

Stayed here for a day - the service was really wonderful - Ashwini from customer relations reached out before checking in on Whatsapp and went above and beyond meeting the needs - Being platinum they upgraded to a better room. I checked out early to catch an early flight at 6:00 am - they made sure that there was take away fresh juice and a sandwich. Thank you.

Frankly speaking, the hotel failed to really impress me. Considering that it’s a 5-star hotel and the average rooms go at around Rs. 10,000 per night - I expected something a lot better. I liked the staff and their service attitude. The person at the check-in desk had me all ready in less than 5 mins. That’s a record. During my various stay at Leela Palace, the check-in took more than 15 mins. By the time I had gone thru signing the wad of forms, listening to instructions and furnishing my documents, it almost fell like I was closing my mortgage. The Westin was a pleasant surprise. In less than 5 mins. I was all set to go to my room. I guess what they gave me in check in time they took back in transit time! They have, I kid you not, the slowest elevators in the world. I waiting no less than 5 minutes, watching the numbers on the two elevators (the third was out of order for the week I stayed there) for the elevator door to open. Once I got into the elevator, it was like traveling in slomo. It took forever to traverse the 6 floors to my room. Everything about the elevator is eerily slow. With the exception of the doors. They open and close briskly. If you miss them - another 5 minute wait! I was also not very happy about the food choices. Maybe I am spoilt by Leela Palace which has a huge variety of selection. Here it is very limited. Most of it is self serve buffet. The order to be ordered items (like coffee, dosa) take a long time and you have to go to the station to place the order. No one ever comes to your table to check. Overall, I would give them a low B for their food. Their location is good and bad. They are in the center of the busy Velachery area. I was able to get a lot of my work done by simply walking around. However, there is no place to safely walk (not really the hotels fault - just putting it in there). I was almost run over when I went for an after dinner stroll. The place is very busy. They have the Guru Nanak college across the street and that gets a lot of kids during the day. The rooms are okay. Their WC was stained - something I would consider as a big no-no for a 5-star hotel. I loved their staff. They were always smiling and ready to really help. Everyone from the doormen to front office to diner to room service. Very cordial and effective.

Had been there for an official event & the ambiance was good but the food was very average, especially chicken biriyani was worst, no taste & masala in it. I am wondering how they got this many good reviews! Though the service & assistance were good, it’s really not worth going there for buffet.

This is an absolutely great hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. The shower is awesome. The outdoor space is nice to recover from the jetlag. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the dinner choices are nice. Finally, the service is extraordinary, across the board. Laundry service has fast pickup and rapid return and is low cost. The people are wonderful and the airport concierge service is absolutely great!

Can't even grade it average. Most staff has a language barrier with just speaking Tamil. Poor body language of staff. Average quality of food. Staff lack basic courtesies. Waited 4 hours for an early check in. While Reception was about to throw us out for being late while checking out. We did a group booking of 30 rooms and seems it was a waste of money. The contact person Mr Shranoth was missing during both days. What a waste of time and money. Never expected this from a brand like Marriott.

I've had the pleasure of dining at The Westin in Velachery on a couple of occasions for business gatherings, and it's been a consistently wonderful experience. The venue is well-maintained, impeccably clean, and impressively spacious. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the dining experience. As for the food, it's not just delicious but also served with flair. All in all, my visits here have been memorable, and I've truly enjoyed my time at The Westin.

2K+ for the buffet you serve? It was a Nightmare! It is a perfect Zero for quality and taste. Please send your chef once to visit a star hotel so he will learn how food is presented elsewhere.

Joined for breakfast last weekend .We were a group of 9 guests .The service was so disappointing. The table we sat on had no napkins and we waited for half an hour to get one.They gave only 4 napkins.The food was so bland. There were so many staff but no one checked on our table. Eggs were so bland even when asked them to season the eggs . The coffee was very late!The ambience was good but it was not worth paying almost 9K for a breakfast buffet .The juices didn't taste fresh .Waffles and pancakes were so mediocre.Even the ones cooked at home tasted better . For a Westin to have a breakfast like this I was pretty surprised!

Best stay in all of Chennai! Wonderful rooms, great spread at all restaurants. Their spa is especially good and service across all areas are great. Highly recommend.

Attended a wedding reception today evening (24.11.2021). Hall , waiting area and resturant are well decorated with colourful lights. Food served is tasty. Dining hall is also specious. Good ambience.

The hotel has been a recent last few years addition in Velachery Chennai and close to the Phoenix Mall. Westin Sta dards are good and it adheres to the sanitization protocol which Marriott has put into place. The service levels are pretty high despite the lack of business ess in the previous mo the and the hotel is well occupied and busy. All thanks to theanagement and Stay for a good stay

Went for a dinner buffet here. Great spread. Good food. Amazing ambience. The staff are very courteous and welcoming. The buffet was a little overpriced. But the food was great so thats why we were ok to pay the amount.

Stayed in this property for more than 5 days this month. I am a regular customer for this hotel. Really a great place to stay. Good customer support. Hotel is in the center of the city. Good food and varieties available. All Covid'19 protocols followed. Outside food is also available. Good for family, friends, solo or business travel. Highly recommend this property. This time, I had an opportunity to visit the Bar cum restaurant "Willows" on its first floor. Nice ambience. Wide Variety of Liquor and good qualify side dishes were provided. Mutton Briyani was really great. Excellent service provided by polite men. The volume of the music played could be a little trouble for people who would like to chat..plenty of Televisions for people to watch it wherever they sit in the room. I would like to visit again

Had à la carte lunch at Madras Kitchen Company. Good service by the service personnel. But the dishes weren't exciting as their name suggest. They've managed to compensate with the presentation for what was lacking in taste. Starters were okay. But mains weren't up to the mark. Major let down was the seating arrangement. The corner place didn't receive any kind of aeration and you'll feel stuffy after certain time. Especially if the day is sunny then you're done.

Total atmosphere and food all good and well maintained, almost tried all varieties which are good to the mark. Impressed by variety of spread and the courteous service provided by the staff. 100% will visit again and recommend this place. Hotel ambience was extremely good. Proper social distancing was followed and maintained by each and every personnel......

As always well maintained big spacious lobby went here to attend a wedding. Very hospitable staff. I liked the decor in lobby gives a nice touch to it. Only a small suggestion the buffet should be placed somewhere else rather in front of the Inspire hall doors. Other than that everything was fine.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Our 6th time. Great dinner and breakfast, a pleasant experience always.. great and supportive staff. Experience Staycation here.

I was on business and was privileged to stay at this hotel for about a month. The staff is extremely polite and accommodating, which made my stay as pleasant as possible. I would also be pleased to receive the recipe for the pudding bread. ;-) Furthermore if you have the opportunity, I can recommend a dinner on the rooftop as well as the BBQ by the waterfall on the ground floor.

The rooms are really great, the bathrooms have a separate shower area and tub. I had chosen the dinner and breakfast package. Didn't like the food that much, it didn't have the wow effect for such a hotel

The quite place in the middle of the Chennai. Easily accessible from the Airport. The rooms are neat, has good ambience and light. Spacious bathroom equiped with bath tub.. has transparent glass between door would be great for couples.. but for others?

This place is good. It’s not a resort but a 5 Star business hotel. Place is spike and spine. Staff is courteous. Rooms are big with all facilities, they provide everything, full service. Food is wide spread and decent. Front facing rooms are road facing giving view of the city and back facing rooms give relaxing /luxury view of swimming pool. There is ample parking around. This hotel is in mid of city and also close proximity to airport which is just 20-30 minutes. You will find here corporate employees, business man, pilots, expats and even individuals. Corporates keep many activities here for their employees. Business centres are available on ground and 1st floor. Overall good place to stay with memories.

This ambience is good. Easily accessible from all transport points. Roof top restaurant and Willows Pub is must visit places. Right from reception, Staffs and hospitality are highly professional. Buffet menu needs improvement but overall good.

Westin hotels are our all time favourite, may it be Chennai or Hyderabad. Their rooms, service, restaurant..all are top notch..must try the cold coffee. Mr. Logan from the restaurant has been so polite and awesome. A new year stay treat..

Always have experienced good staff in other hotels who always has gone out of their way to make customer comfortable and happy and here staff only have no for an answer and gives and” WE DON’T CARE ATTITUDE “They will just embarrass you in different situations and won’t do anything about it for them “ THEY ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG”

We went to rooftop restaurant which is available at the poolside. The ambience was good, the food is also good overall we had a quality time there with friends.

Food and hospitality were excellent. There were more varieties in desserts. Overall enjoyed the visit.

Clean spacious room, good sound proofing so I rarely hear disturbances, there was a power cut but within about a few minutes it was restored - which is very efficient. Check in & out was quick. Concierge was efficient & speaks good English. Service is 5 🌟. Food was fantastic (breakfast, their restaurant & bar). Location is great - walking distance to a mall if you feel brave enough to cross a crossroad. 1 minor pique: for some reason I was asked for my passport several times over the few days because the last copy wasn't clear.

Its an ok kind of hotel which needs a lot of maintenance to get to the 5 star mark. I changed two rooms in a days stay. TV was not working.. No extra Mattresses... Water in the tub was greenish black colour... Supplies of water, pillows, blankets were not done... They claim a 5 star but not in performance.. I felt really disappointed in my choice... Should get better in their rooms and services..

Visited with family friends and had a great lunch time. Buffet menu had good varieties serving Indian, Chinese, Arabic and continental cuisines. Food quality was awesome. Live counters for Pizza, Chats, Fish, chicken, Mocktails etc available.Desserts were tasty but difficult to try all at one go. Service was good. Very nice, clean ambient with live music. Hotel provides free valet parking. Location is very easily accessible on Velacherry road.

We had been to the Seasonal Tastes Restaurant for a buffet dinner. Good ambience. Great variety of food, including live station and collection of deserts. Service was quite good. There were good number of guests and it is good to book a table

Buffet dinner was good. Almost all items (veg and non veg) are there. If you take membership you get 50 percent discount on mondays and 30 percent discount on other days. Other offers are also there. Food is excellent. Staff are polite and they serve well. Really enjoyed buffet dinner

A very good property with good rooms. A nice functional gym and swimming pool too. The staff gives good service. At least Ms Runimi from Tezpur was very attentive. In the restaurant there was chaos in terms of service during dinner , the manager and waiters were unable to cope with the rush. It took them over an hour to serve me. That's not very encouraging for a Marriott operated property. Otherwise it is value for money. House keeping is good. A big mall is 100 metres away. Will stay again.
