When you are out, they enter into your room using other key without permission. You dont have any privacy and security for your personal belongings. It is definitely unlawful. Even after giving feedback to the GM, he is keen on continuing the same in future.

Wallet parking. Neat and clean lobbies. I attended a function in party hall, quite impressed with the hall, cleanliness in washrooms, in-house food menu and food quality.

We have celebrated our birthday party in the Soorya residency's banquet hall. Very neatly handled and supported by Mr.Siva kumar and team. Food , ambience and service all were excellent. Thank you team.

Overpriced stay.. Please dont get fooled by the pics they post online. 1000-1500/- rs ambience for rs.2800/- Lower middle class hotel with very high pricing. They charge rs.42 for a bottle of water and says that they are 3 star. Very poor quality of food and service. This is simply cheating

Spacious parking place. Maintained clean. Location is in the meeting point of Kodambakkam and T.Nagar. is also an advantage

Attended office meeting there... neatly organized and arranged...dinner also very good....

On Sat, 29th July we had a Get Together. It was so well handled by Mr Sivakumar, Executive Operations right from showing us around, making the bookings & confirming to me on my email. Any queries in between he handled very well. The dinner banquet was taken care of staff Aalap & his team who were very courteous & made us feel comfortable. The food both Veg & NV was good & liked by all the guests & value for money. Kudos to Sivakumar & the banquet staff. It is said the behaviour of the staff in an organisation speaks volumes and good staff makes a great organisation. The hotel is also situated centrally in the busy city of Chennai but yet calm & quiet place. A big thumbs up 👍 to The Soorya Residency, Chennai

I have stayed here as part of a marriage function for four days. Hands down this is one of the best three star hotel that I have ever stayed. They are top notch in everything. The rooms are really spacious and well maintained. The service is commendable. Extremely prompt service.The staffs are really polite and professional and they have never messed up any food orders, even complicated ones. As someone who travels a lot I can vouch for this hotel. This is how a hotel should function, competitors please take notes.

We are family of 4 (2 adult and 2 children) and had to stay for almost a month. So we have got the full experience to give the review. In simple words, I would not recommend this hotel for families and for those whose priority is quality (hospitality). May be good for bachelor gathering as we largely noticed guys wearing bath towels and keeping the door open, smoking, walking in the lobby.. Rooms: We stayed in various executive rooms. The rooms sizes are ok. However few concerns as below. - There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and bathroom between two rooms are kind of interconnected. So Essentially we hear and feel what is happening on the other bath room. Though others are manageable, Strong cigarette smell coming from other bathroom could not be tolerated at all. - One of the room where we stayed had strong patches in the wall. Not sure how such rooms can be offered to guests. - One of the room had issues with the room key (card). It was possible to open the room without a key. Unfortunately no possibility to lock the room from inside. We had to eventually change the room. - The ACs in the room are window based and in one of the room it is mounted just in front of the bed. -No valet parking and roof top BBQ as advertised. -internet is simply useless..not working most of the times. don't rely on that. Service: Service was really pathetic. Poor hospitality(all staffs including management) Worst house keeping. For all the above mentioned concerns on the room, the management/staffs were so lethargic and shown no interest of proper action. For the room key issue, the management told that they would fix the issue before night and when we return by night, the staff informed that it was not fixed and asked to shift to another room at night time(10pm) and even with out providing any assistance. It was Horrible. The housekeeping can enter the room at any time for room cleaning and you have to be careful for privacy. Some rooms have lock provisions from inside, "Do not disturb" placards.. and some does not have. The worst part of housekeeping was they did not change the bedsheets, linens, for almost 5 days, we came to know about it on the 5th day unfortunately... Unbelievable.. and the interesting part was the reception guy and house keeping team keep saying that they change bed clothing everyday.. which was not true.. Breakfast was ok. Location: Location was really good. The hotel is centrally located and has easy access to T.Nagar, Kodambakkam and Nungambakkam areas. This was the only reason why we opted to stay here despite all of these cons. Few guys in reception, restaurant were good but they could not help much since they were controlled by management/other staffs. Security staffs were very helpful.

Rooms:The rooms were too small,especially the bathroom was not at all good with a very strong cigarette smell. Service:The service was very poor,even when we asked for a room change they were not responding properly,and said now we can do nothing try next week. Location:The location was in the middle of the city with a lot of traffic and pollution.

The quality of room was pathetic and service was poor. Air conditioning was not working and to make the matter worse it took past midnight to repair it. Doesn't worth the money

Quality of the rooms are not up-to the mark. AC not working properly. Too much of sound from AC. There where lots of mosquitoes

Location wise a nice hotel. Limited parking place. Attended a meeting in one of their Banquet Hall which is located in the basement.

For a short trip this is okay would not recommend for Family. Will i visit back the hotel? NOPE! Never this 3 days stay will be my first and last. If your on budget go ahead with the executive room a bit breathable and slightly cleaner compared to the standard room.

Rooms, Location, Service ok. But, Food taste average. No fresh chicken all frozen. Need to correct, Many hotels caught in this issue.

Complimentary breakfast was good.. can still improve the ambience of the corridor and standard rooms.. executive rooms were better thaan standard rooms

The housekeeping enters your room while you are out in the name of cleaning, even if you haven't asked for the same. This is an invasion of privacy and a horrible experience. I hope the hotel authority looks into this seriously.

An excellent hotel. Really clean and and hygienic. Staff is extremely friendly. It is also right beside a shopping area called T nagar.

One of my friend came from Kumbakonam Tuesday early morning (12th/07/2022)for his personal visit booked the stay there so went to meet him evening , as he told room was good, they provided complementary breakfast,.. We ordered some evening snack all tasted Good,.. Hope their bar was under renovation.. Nice staff and customer service.. No photo taken sorry..

Very good hotel. Good place to have meetings and get-together functions. Very good location also to reach the hotel very easy.

They committed with us for a hall booking enquiry. My parents went the day after, with ready cash and all the details for booking, and suddenly they said someone else also checked and went so it was first come first serve. When my father said he had come with cash ready to pay, the lady suddenly said that hall wasn't available and that someone had booked it but it wasn't updated in their diary. They offered a smaller hall for us which didn't serve our purpose and hence we were forced to explore other options. Really unprofessional and nasty customer service. I would not recommend going with them for any party bookings etc as they will take the hall from you and suddenly give it to someone else.

Economical but good service and snacks. Known this place for many many years as their guest

Had organized a birthday party here _ courteous staff, good location _ and the best feature is the food _ the chef deserves a special mention ! We were given a wide choice & all the items were exemplary. All the guests enjoyed the food & ambience ! The Manager Mr Shivakumar was very helpful & co_operated well. A big thumbs up for medium / small parties/functions !!
