I walked into Madan's Makeover after hearing about it from a friend about Madan, the founder. The moment I entered the salon Madan and Deepika (at the reception) made me feel welcome (especially as I was reaching the salon after a failed attempt at getting a pixie cut done at a nearby high-end salon). Madan patiently listened to my concerns, questions and clearly explained how he would execute the haircut I wanted, with variations to suit my hair texture and face. He reassured me that he would make sure that the haircut makes me feel and look good. I was convinced the same day and I booked an appointment for the next day. The day of the appointment was really fun with a lot of pictures and before videos filmed for social media (with my consent, of course) and he took utmost care with COVID hygiene protocols (like sanitizing each area, using disposable products where possible). The surprise element was a small head massage included with the hair wash. The ambience was soothing with good music and the hair cut itself was amazing. Madan was even courteous enough to show around his space and I felt at home. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who would like a mindful hairstylist, great service and amazing ambience. As the name suggests, you definitely get a tailor-made haircut to suit your needs! 😊😊 Making this my number one place for a haircut going forward! Excellent job, Madan and Deepika!

I am based in England for last 20 years and I come to Madras( Chennai) atleast 2 times a year to meet my family and friends as this is my home from my childhood . As you might have noticed I had mentioned the old name Madras , this is because I want the readers to know I have seen the changes and growth of this beautiful city from my childhood . I have seen brands like Naturals mushrooming all over madras back then and also international brands like Toni & Guy and others independant brands emerging in chennai , india. What took place next was an enormous invasion of salon products into this new booming emerging market. Hair stylist slowly started spending time to understand these products and its short term gains to the end consumer . Many of the senior stylist in Chennai slowly shifted their focus to sell these hair and body products to their clients Which in one way was good for clients who had nightouts and parties but for those clients who were willing to shell out few thousands over a haircut was complete injustice. The fingers of a stylist and the products are quiet slick and the client is very happy during the visit to a expensive salon but once they go back home and have a wash , the entire feel good factor is lost as the cut given does not support self grooming from home. For this one reason I have been going to one stylist for last 20 years everytime I come to Chennai. He is a celebrity hair stylist and has understood the texture of my hair and also my facial features to give the perfect stylish haircut which my heart truly rejoiced. This visit of mine i decided to give a try in another well spoken and highly regarded studio called " Madans Makeover". I have known Madan for a long time but never have shifted my loyalty from my previous stylist of 20 years. My appointment was for 11am and it lasted for a good period of 2+ hours. I have salt and pepper beard and hair.( inspiration Thala Ajith and Chiyaan Vikram) and since i am a perfectionist , i was little unsure about the outcome of this appointment. To cut the long story short , Mbadan is a perfectionist , he is very passionate about his job and most of all has a sharp eye for small details. I have been to many famous hair & beard styllist in England but no has given me a perfect 10/10 hair and beard cut like Madan. Beard for men has been trending for a long time, rarely you will find a hair stylist who can give you the perfect beard cut and shape. Madan has mastered the art of beard cutting alongside haircuts. He is class apart and thorough professional. The most interesting part , after a wash , i cud still recreate the magic Madan had given to me. The crew is hand picked and are one of the most sincere dedicated passionate crew i have seen in a long time. The pricing might be little high for some but hey if you need world class makeover and pampering, you got to pay the price. Totally I have visited three times . Third and this time , the haircut was from Top stylist for my children. I was not that happy . I strongly have a feel irrespective stylist, it’s the focus and good mood from the stylist. It was really costly and this time was not upto the mark

I walked in to Madan's makeover out of curiosity and had my 1st hair consultation by Madan. Ive been wanting to streak my hair for a long time but had doubts on whether it would suit me ect... But , after talking to Madan, i realized that my hair was in good hands!! I loved the whole experience, Madan and his team took time to consult about my hair, it's texture, what haircut would suit my face and also understand what i wanted ... My friends took me to this place ‘Madan’s Makeover’ because they saw my hair color looks bad on me. The first interaction I had with Madan, I could see that he really takes care of his clients. He explained me in detail the problem with my hair and he suggested few things to take care of my hair. After few months, I went back again for hair cut and hair color correction. I explained him how I want my hair should look, at the same time I was worried because I didn’t want my hair to go wrong this time. But Madan never disappoint his clients. I've been to Madan's Makeover twice now me and my daughter got excellent haircuts each time we come To begin with, the shampoo treatment was probably one of the best . The salon uses Kevin Murphy products which are high-quality products. They work marvelously; the shampoo treatment leaves your hair super soft. Overall, the hair wash is a very relaxing experience which includes a head massage. From the moment I sat in the stylist's chair to the final reveal, I was in awe of the incredible transformation. The director stylist skills were evident in every snip of the scissors, creating a look that was stylish and perfectly suited to me. Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do!💕

I have been going to Madan for the last decade for my hair care. Having had my hair styled at many different places over the last so many years, the first time I had a haircut with Madan was the last time I went anywhere else. He has complete knowledge of not just hair styles and colouring but also hair health. Best of all, he takes the time to understand what the client needs and yet discusses with you what would really work for an individual based on face shape, hair texture, even what type of job you’re doing. I wanted to do a good makeover for my hair. My hair was so frizzy and too dry. Reached the right place.. Madan and his team explained the best treatment for my hair and my hair is now soft. And it has retained is original wavy shape which was my biggest fear with treatment. Thank you team .
