This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! I found the rooms to be comfortable, the pool was great and the staff very attentive. A place such as this is clearly one of luxury, and from the outside the interiors are stunning. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent food service and variety of cuisine with traditional dishes. Located only 16 minutes away from the airport. I strongly recommend a stay to experience its richness.

A very luxurious hotel. Right from the check-in to the check out, all the services are very good. The room is very comfortable, and services are a bit slow. But it is manageable. I have utilized the gym, and it is also good. The checkout is also quick. The buffet breakfast is very nice. In room dining services are a bit slower, some time it is very late, sometimes it is ok.

Been to Tranquebar yesterday night for our company event. The bar was exclusively reserved for us. The ambience was very good - perfect air-conditioning, plates in sealed cover, every ITC employee wearing double layer masks, etc etc. For Starters we had three dishes Paneer & Aloo patty Babycorn with Shallots American Cheese Balls Starters were good, with no wow factor. Array of Artisan Cheese - sampled three different cheeses (not sure of their names) and liked two of them. I ordered two mocktails Virgin Mary Lychee based Both were very good. For dinner they had Quesadillas - with Re-Fried Beans and Paneer Tomato Gojju - with Idlis Veg Dum Biryani and Curd rice The Quesadilla was a let down. Instead of making afresh (for a very small crowd), this was already made in the kitchen and all they were doing was to re-heat it. The tortilla was clearly not fresh and it took efforts to cut it using the fork. ITC, you could do definitely better. The veg biryani and curd rice were of good quality and taste, nothing extraordinary to write about. Let me speak about Tomato Gojju with Idlis - in my view, highlight of the day. The Idlis were fluffy, super soft and the tomato gojju made to perfection. Accompaniments - ghee, idli podi garlic podi, potato crisps and fried curry leaves - ensured your taste buds were given a Royal Treatment. Kudos, here. In the dessert section there were three: Eggless Madagascar Chocolate Delice Mango Saffron Choux Berry cheesecake Being a vegetarian, I picked the Madagascar Chocolate Delice. This was melting in the mouth, though I regret I couldn't have more than one. 😉 All in all, it was a wonderful evening catching up with colleagues in an informal setting.

It's sometimes confusing to navigate through the whole property. The ambience is brilliant, the service is great but what beats it all is the food. They have some of the best food I've had in town. Don't mind the steep prices, sometimes you need to pamper yourself. The staff are polite, courteous and enterprising. Make sure you visit and experience the food, service and comfort.

Real five star. Restaurants are excellent and service is great. Food is too good with menu for every taste. Cocktails and moctails are worth trying. Service is quick and staff is very cordial. There is nothing for vegetarians. They charge ₹2590 per head for weekday buffet dinner. I had my dinner in Madras pavilion. Another thing is veg items are clubbed with non veg items and there is a chance that ladle could be missed. There is nothing in live kitchen. The ambience is very good. Its like a palace. Kids love the places in and around this wonderful building. It is a calm and nice place and no other hotel can beat the ambience.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I encountered a mix of positive and negative experiences. As a loyal gold elite customer, I was eligible for a complimentary upgrade; however, I was disappointed when the hotel denied my request. Only when I expressed willingness to pay was a room upgrade made available, which felt somewhat unfair given my loyalty status. On the positive side, the hotel amenities were generally good. The facilities provided were satisfactory and contributed to a comfortable stay overall. It's always appreciated when a hotel offers a range of amenities that enhance the guest experience. The majority of the staff members were friendly and accommodating, which added a pleasant touch to the stay. Their helpfulness and positive attitude contributed to a more enjoyable experience, and it's always encouraging to encounter such amiable hospitality. However, I did encounter an issue with the room itself. Despite staying in a one-bedroom apartment, which should have offered a higher level of comfort and convenience, both balcony doors were stuck. Opening them required some effort, which was a minor inconvenience but still detracted from the overall experience. In conclusion, while the hotel amenities were good and the staff members were generally friendly, there were a few drawbacks that impacted my stay. The denial of a complimentary room upgrade for a loyal gold elite customer was disappointing, and the stuck balcony doors in the one-bedroom apartment were a minor inconvenience. It would be beneficial for the hotel to address these issues and ensure that the overall guest experience aligns with the expectations of loyal customers.

It was a great stay. Absolutely, wonderful staff. I was there for a week and a half. From the restaurants to business center folks and bell captains, all were professional and very courteous. Extremely, helpful as well. A more detailed feedback would be to increase resting staff so, they can be available to wait. Meaning, there were times I had to wait for that extra bottle of water. Overall, very good and US properties can learn a thing or two from these professionals.

The hotel is beautiful. Really looks grand. Food quality is also good. But the room service is really bad. They don't provide minimum toiletries. They clearly mentioned that if you need you have to call them. Then they will bring that too you. I don't who got this stupid cost saving idea.

Upon check in, I noticed that the toilet bowl was stained. There was a baby cockroach in the mini bar area. TV wasn't working. Informed the staff and they changed our room. The upgraded room was fine, except a faulty TV, which was fixed by a friendly technician. Restaurant at the breakfast area was in a mess. The floor had broken glass pieces which I stepped onto, luckily no cuts as my footwear was thick. Food were labelled wrongly. Staff in the hotel aren't service oriented, friendly or warm. They are arrogant and not willing to go an extra mile for guests. There's a clear distinction between VIPs and common people. Spa was an absolute disaster and I can't believe these are so pricey. Located at a convenient location and the hotel looks great. But they need to work on their service big time

I went to this iconic hotel for attending a company function. Every inch of this hotel has luxury in it. Parking is an exception to it, parking areas in the basement can be maintained better. Banquet halls were grand and food was like any other star hotel, good quality and tasty food were served. Staff service during the function was below average, even some staff while directing us to the halls were not very friendly. Probably they treat rich customers in a friendly manner not other working white collar people.

Service can be better. There is always an air of supremacy amongst the waiters as though we are eating for free. Improve your service. Ask the waiters and hotel staff to be a bit courteous. I rent rooms for my office guests there and also entertain them there.

ITC Grand Chola is a grandeur, and a must see star hotel in Chennai. It was awesome in the initial years but has come down on standards over time. Staff need to be courteous, more friendly, and something which is essential if not mandatory. Just the infrastructure is great won't do much beyond. Food quality too needs to be better and consistent.

Booked a budget room and the room was of the highest standards in terms of cleanliness. Rooms come in 3 options and with the option of both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Food was of awesome taste and I savored every bit of it. Tried the bar and even though the prices of alcoholic beverages were on the expensive side but enjoyed the bar ambiance. Separate smoking room in the bar. DRESS CODE to be followed while entering the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed twice the experience visit Grand Chola. I Will Visit again in the future.

It was really a very bad experience. Yesterday we booked table for 2 in Madras Pavilion. The total cost was 5200. Veg food has only few varieties. Taste was sooo bad. I didn't not expecting this from 5star hotel. Only 2 staters some main dishes but all food taste was very worst. Only a few dessert were good in taste. I'm really not recommending this hotel, simply waste of money.

Ambience is good. Music is mild and nice, area is calm with a TV to watch. Staff are ok - not so great as other 5 star hotels. The menu is ok-ish - can have more varities. Whatever is in the menu is good and tasty - authentic spices can be purely felt.

Great place to have a morning business meeting.

Great five star luxury hotel in the heart of the city. Even if you are not planning on staying there, they have plenty of little cafeterias and restaurants on the premises, all five star keep in mind. You could spend half a day just visiting their facilities. We spent some time in the Fabelle cafe filled with chocolates and a few hours dining in their fine five star restaurant. Great place, really enjoyed it!

Hotel is nice. But not much of recreational facilities except gym and swimming pool. For 5 star they need to have more amenities. No kids play area, no games or sports facility, nothing for entertainment as well. For such a large hotel the dining area is quite small.

Unfortunately, the worst service in this league. We paid the money for a family lunch with their Madras Pavillion. After trying to reach them through several channels, they were never reachable to book the time. Telephone service was not offered, call back request didn't work. They were not available to either offer the service or the refund. In addition to the financial loss, the amount of distress this caused in the family is immense due to poor service. We had to lose face with our dear ones because we had to cancel the plan with the whole family on the lunch meeting. Not to mention the colossal waste of time! Unless you want to pay money without a chance to avail the service or the refund, and put yourself through overwhelming stress and bitter disappointment, I'd encourage staying away. For a venue meant to create joyous memories, our experience was anything but that!

I like this place for a occasional drink as its so peaceful out here. A lively bar in Chennai serving drinks which you won't get elsewhere in town.The bar is well stocked with Cointreau, Kahula, Hennessy, various vodkas, whiskeys and beers! grate food and the perfect place to catch up with a couple of friends, Drinks are expensive here! But the ambience is worth the deal.

Followed by South Indian coffee, which probably was one of the best I had in months! Compliments to the team! Good show!

Visited the coffee shop to meet a friend who was staying at the hotel. He mentioned displeasure at the customer service. My experience: This hotel is huge. It's very dimly lit which makes it difficult for first time visitors to even find the entrance of the lobby (i wasn't a first time visitor so i knew the route). The lobby is lavish and super well maintained. The coffee shop is also well maintained and the fruit juice served was good. A peaceful place for any meeting.

First visit post a long gap, expectation was high, but dint live up. I'm sure it's probably due to covid measures. Brkfst spread was okay, but they need to monitor wen items need to be refilled. Can't expect such things from star hotel. Don't like the difference between tower customer and others. Especially during happy hours, ITC gardenia in blore does not differentiate. Rooms were good but mini bar and coffee table was empty, complicated iPad controlled room, in my room it was not working for TV. Sometimes keeping it simple is better

To Enter the main reception you have to search. Didn't see any support to be guided there. Once inside, the Ambience is Fantastic. Still I didn't see anyone walking upto you to check where I want to go. A very big place requires proper reception and guidance.

Horrible maintenance of cloak rooms it was smelly though I was wearing the N 95 masks. The taps were not functional in wash basins. Worst experience from a supposedly seven star rated hotel of ITC. experience yesterday Christmas day December 25th 2021. I was there for marriage reception party of a dear friend's son. This was echoed by another user too who came for the same reception event and he recommended that I give this feedback. Giving it publicly at Google Maps review now

Serving staff and in general staff behaviour are good. But facilities like drinking water, wash room are not in very reachable distance and even notice boards are also missing. Buffet hall and function hall are kept in short distance. Due to this the food spell occupies the function hall.

Amazing property, with traditional touch!!. Wonders created in marble blocks. But the rooms can be taken care for the word luxury. The chair provided was worn out and the corridor carpet was smelling bad. Other than this, we had a great stay and enjoyed the amazing food from Malabar buffet, had wonderful time in swimming pool, kind hearted staff also make the stay more pleasant.

The food is nice and worth the money and nice ambience. Quality is visible in the maintenance and service; but the cocktails ordered took time; also, there's no easy access from the parking place to the pavilion or the rooms. Should connect the lift to the parking lot.

My 5 stars (and beyond) go entirely to the rockstar 'She' bartender Katinao. She was amazingly friendly and such a superstar. She taught us the nitty grittiest of cocktail making and made us feel at home. Had a marvelous evening at the bar thanks to her and the superb sense of camaraderie and girl power!

This hotel looks fantastic and the rooms are nice but the quality of service is far below par. We had to wait for an hour and thirty minutes for our bill at the Italian restaurant. The next night at the Pan Asian restaurant the manager was rude to one of the members of our party while he tried to charge 4 bottles of sparkling water when only 1 was ordered. Both restaurants had a hard time getting our bills correct even though we made it clear how things should be split up, only a group of 5 people. While checking out I asked for the food and room bill to be separated but the person charging my card still put everything on one receipt. The hotel never tried to make things right just moved on like nothing happened, customer serve here is awful.

Della, a great weekend getaway place for a peaceful easy feeling. Be it a quiet celebration or a visit to Della to explore the various fun filled activities one can engage in. Truly amazing place and location. They have some real good food to offer and a well managed bar. Rooms there are nicely furnished and nicely done. Highly luxurious villas and amazing outside ambience. Expensive but not much for the quality of the resort. The restaurants are also exceptional.

Property is huge & beautiful. Lobby is grand & gives palace like feel. Food is very good & tasty. Loved the food... But faced issues in service during check in & check out. Especially at checkout observed that they had charged for extra buffet in my bill. Though the lady on counter made sure to resolve this in 10 minutes. Not expected especially considering their billing is electronic & integrated. Room was moderate in size, clean & comfortable. Bathtub was big... One good thing to note... They do not provide single use plastic water bottles in room. They provided refillable glass bottles. Staff in restaurant was supportive. Terrace has big & beautiful garden and swimming pool. Amazing hospitality and service. The staff really went above and beyond in making sure that our stay was comfortable. Unexpected gestures such as putting flowers near our makeshift temple were a great touch! The facilities are top notch, staff is always courteous and helpful. If you get lost in the hotel and ask a staff member for help, they’ll personally guide you to the right place regardless of how far is it. I’ll definitely stay here again

The ambience is lovely. Great place to host functions. Food was okay. Adequate parking facility. Lost some slipper piece which had come out and kept in the side, the cleaning team immediately disposed it, when asked about it the catering team said they will look into it but never heard from anyone.

Very comfortable room and bed and fantastic facilities. Delicious welcome snacks and fresh bottled water. Absolutely lovely staff, very warm and welcoming and the service was excellent. Beautiful pool area and gardens are a delight. The vegetarian Indian restaurant was amazing. The whole experience was a joy, couldn't recommend more highly!

Ambience is super pleasant, Pool side view is antidepressant. Probably the best hotel for a guest. Delicious food; money well spent. Lobby looks glorious and beautiful; Hospitality services are impeccable. Never seen a room so irresistible; Spacious lounge and the structural interior design indescribable.

We loved our stay at ITC Grand Chola in Chennai. It's a luxurious and very comfortable hotel, the interior is excellent and the service is also great. We had a great time with our kids at the pool area and at the restaurants inside. The breakfast buffet has an excellent spread, and if you are staying here then you must at least do one meal at the Bukhara (needs advance booking generally, but they were kind enough to accommodate us without a reservation). We loved the room service as well, and had a great time overall.

Feels like a king when you are here. The smiling faces and that namaste of every guard and service people gives you a blissful feeling. The food here is out of my imagination. Royal food, Royal service and Royal feeling. Also one of the best part here is the painting they hung on their wall. One of Amazing day I had in my life😍

Delayed service sometimes annoying.Ambience,food quality and spread was great. Parking not adequate. Our driver made to go round like merry go round. Could be improved with valet service.

The room was beautiful and spacious, the breakfasts were lovely and the cheese and wine each day was a wonderful addition to our trip. The sky bar was lovely and they squeezed us in with no fuss on the night we arrived.

Great experience, the room is too clean which I expected. The food is awesome, clean cooking, overall had a hygienic food in an amazing palace. Can't mention one each and every staff here are too humble and kind towards us, they guided us with a kind gesture, felt like I was in a real palace. Thank you for such an astonishing experience.

A  great weekend getaway place for a peaceful easy feeling. Be it a quiet celebration or a visit to Della to explore the various fun filled activities one can engage in. Truly amazing place and location. They have some real good food to offer and a well managed bar. Rooms there are nicely furnished and nicely done. Highly luxurious villas and amazing outside ambience. Expensive but not much for the quality of the resort. The restaurants are also exceptional.

There is nothing to tell here , everything is excellent. I would love to say that breakfast buffet spread is excellent as well as great in taste. Don’t miss the French pavilion toast

Had buffet lunch in Madras pavilion restaurant. Food was very yummy and unique. There are 3 types of biriyani and mutton briyani is among best from the list. 100+ items but sea foods are limited. Desserts are the best one.

The hotel must do something about the temparature maintained. It was too cold and most of us there returned home with a cold. Otherwise, the food is really good. The staff is also courteous and helpful. Housekeeping deserves a special mention for the way they've maintained the hotel.
