Well maintained shopping area with all your requirements in one spot inside IITM campus, but costly place. The supermarket Ambika is an unethical and costly shop. They closed down and declined to support campus community during the floods (or any crisis thereafter). The Andavar fruit shop is costly but you get good quality fruits and vegetables there. Land to Kitchen is another veg shop there that sells organic products and products directly Tamil village farms nearby at fair price. Stationary shops in first floor, bakery and electronics shops are fairly good shops. You would be at the mercy of the person at the Ice cream shop.

It opens at 8 am and close a 9.30 pm regularly....it has good maintenance near by place and entrance...a parking lot and structure for parking cars, cycle, bike and wheel chair...I think wheel chair access is also available...so overall good place to visit

Very very pricey. The campus residents can spend cost on fuel rather buying costly goods from the shopping complex. The veggies shop offer fresh items but Ambika supermart has all the to-be-expired products. Aavin shop in the first floor is a new addition to the complex with same price as outside.
