Had a very bad experience during my last visit. Had travelled from ECR to this place hoping for an authentic tasty food. Totally disappointed as the Palakpaneer seemed to have no palak and the gravy was thickend with either maida or cornflour. I found lumps in the gravy and asked the person about it. And he replied that it may be aloo or lauki that is used to make the gravy thick... I had referred many of my friend to this place and now realise that I shouldn't have done it...

Friendly owner! One of my favourite dine outs.! The best part is irrespective of how crowded the restaurant is, you don't have to wait for the taste buds to taste your food late! The service is very very quick. ! Keep it up.

Delicious food that do not make a hole in your pocket

This restaurant is located on the MGR main road and very easy to miss. It's adjacent to Mumbai Kulfi house. They deliver food through swiggy and uber eats. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant and they serve authentic Punjabi food. I had paneer butter masala, fulka chapati, garlic paratha and dry fruit custard. Taste is really good and worth for such Punjabi food in Chennai. Only if they could increase the quantity for the price offered, then this will be perfect place. They accept orders for parties and functions. The owner and staff is very polite and helpful. They have air conditioned seating arrangement and one could observe the cleanliness and hygiene. A la carte is available and few thali options too. They accept cash/card payment.

Decent food

As many complained food was ok but portions are too small... Even 2 side dishes wouldn't be sufficient for 6 pulka.... Even the taste was okiesh and not great....

Keeping that aside this restaurant is a go to page in MGR salai Pros: Good ambience Music will keep you engaged and makes u feel relaxed Excellent hospitality (5 star for this) Excellent and awesome food. Very easily accessible Neatly maintained washroom facility Customer friendly service Few dishes are customisable If u are lucky u can get some discount in the bill too.😉 Provides you welcome drink Kids friendly Cons: Can't think of any except for high price.

Delicious hands down! No contention on that. But pricey. The place is very tiny. It's just on the road. No fancy frills. It's only for a quick bite. Not even casual dining. But you gotta try them for the taste.

Here only breakfast is good

Taste Superb, Food Quality also Superb, the ingredients they used also fine. Fulka, Parathas and Roti items are Priced at Normal. Few Side dishes are costly and quantity also less. One suggestion is revise the pricing for Side dishes. Overall Superb.

Hospitality is good. Taste and quality will be superb for spicy ppl and a little high for the normal foodie. The way of communication and mingle with the customers will give a feel at home. You can also do the birthday cake cutting kind of celebration. The interior, I can give more than 5 rating nicely made with regular things. Have fun friends.

I visited 2-3 times at pait pooja i thought its good north indian food restaurant but its not that much good they offering only chapati & saying it as roti, they don't know the difference between chapati & roti. But if you are hungry & you want to have some north indian ok ok type food then you can go with pait pooja, that is only for 1-2 times. If you visit more than 2-3 time then you realise that food taste is like south indian food only. So you will definitely avoid the food.

Phulka and paneer butter masala was good. Slightly overpriced

One of our favourite places to have vegetarian food in Chennai. Very friendly owners and staffs. Their panneer burji and brinjal curry is to die for. Beer (buttermilk), we never miss to drink it. Authentic Punjabi food with good environment.

Awesome place to dine proper Punjabi vegetarian food. Very delicious. It is a very small place, but definitely good place to dine with friends and family. Kaju Paneer with Lacha paratha is an excellent combination.
