A pure North Indian vegetarian fine dining restaurant in OMR opposite to Turyaa hotel which is serving sweets and savories too. The service is much delayed and I could see customers getting impatient. Menu is priced high. But the Food and ambiance are good. If you have a whole evening ahead of you and have nothing to do, you can visit this place once. Parking in the service road.

Taste is great considered pure vegetarian and the price point on the higher side it matches the food and taste they offer. It is our favorite weekend diner. Can be considered a quiet dining spot for nuclear families, or a office gathering. Food taste is the same as other branches I've visited so far. Service could be better. Especially having tough time lately with one of the waiters.

A two storey stand alone building with complete hygiene area inside for dining. Famous for sweets but you can also get pure vegetarian main course items in lunch and dinner.

Have dined here before and the Punjabi gravy and breads continue to be top notch. Gave 3 star 'cos the portion size of gravy seems to have come down significantly. Room for improving wash room hygiene.

Sree Gupta Bhavan is a very good place for enjoying your evening chaat items with family. Neat and clean, less crowded place. Prices are little on the higher side. Ordered a lessy for Rs. 90/- but was not thick and tasty as expected, but was not bad. Served without a straw or spoon. My wife ordered pav bhaji and it was nice and with good North Indian taste. My son ordered cold coffee and they served ready made one in bottle and was disappointing. All shelves are fully displayed with good looking sweets. Price also high. There is parking space for few cars. So you can park the car in front of the business or on the service road. Ideal rating for this business would be 3.5 and 3 will be low...so I am giving a rating of 4.

Tried their chat items. Bhel Puri Panipuri Dahi Papdi Chat Bhel puri was showstopper rest were okayish. Service was good and they have proper parking. Overall 4/5 and you won't get better chat items in South chennai.

A lovely place for lunch. Specialise in North Indian dishes and chats. They have several combos which makes dinning here quite economical. The staff are courteous and they have some lovely sweets in their store in the ground floor.

Giving One star as I am not seeing the option for Zero star. Worst and pathetic service. Waiters were chit chatting and no one came to take the order. Dine in first floor billing section, the cash counter guy is super lethargic and he is taking his own sweet time for billing. Coming to the ground floor cash counter after purchasing the sweet one more pathetic service from cash counter. Totally lazy, not even bothered to see customer face and delay in giving the parcel in spite of making the payment. Even the road side shop will have a basic etiquette of handling the customer. These so called Gupta Bhavan staff are a big time failure in customer satisfaction

Has only good ambience. The servers are clueless about the menu. My mistake was I ordered a Greek salad which was described in menu as containing Feta cheese. When I pointed this out the severs took this in, cut up ordinary processed cheese and spread it across the already tasteless salad; it contained onions and carrots and spicy ranch sauce...not even sure why they put it on menu if they cannot deliver.

To choose a South Indian dish would be a very bad choice here. But the chats and North indian dishes are good to go! The ambiance is soothing and gives a good vibe check for maintaining privacy. The service is not too great despite many people on the service line. Does hit the nerve looking at that.

They served delicious breakfast with a very good nominal price. Imran Sir is awesome who was with us from booking till the function completed. Wow. Indeed a sure bet for vegies. Good joint for single rush or relaxed group sittings. Ample choice of North and South Indian delicacies. Good effort for good Service. The restaurant is in the 1st floor. The ground floor Sweets and snack section is a danger area with intimidating temptations. I try avoiding it but without success.

I would totally recommend this place 100% for done dining and also quick bites. There have very good good choices and they have very good chaat items as well. And the prices are fare too.. my most favourite was their Manchurian ( I tried mushroom and gobi).. it's definitely one of the best you can ever taste. And then comes the hot chocolate fudge.. you can visit Gupta Bhavan. Just for this.. two large scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream and good d9ze of hot fudge.. and then some dey fruits and nuts.. (this tastes nothing like falooda though).. The ambience is very soothing. They have very kind staff as well for service.

Good variety. We visited the shop in the late afternoon. We ordered a few ice creams and a cold coffee. Surprisingly, the order taker forgot the cold coffee and ended up not delivering it. We had no more time to wait, so canceled it. It was bad that they missed an order even when there is no other customers. Otherwise the atmosphere is good. Nice place to chill with family and friends.

One word sums it up, Awesome. Authentic North Indian taste in Chennai. Felt like home. Extremely flavourful chaats. Schezwan Rice n Chilly Potato were average.

Food is tasty . Uniformly the employees have no idea of ' Customer service ' They are just there for their salaries - from top to bottom including Manager . I had this impression a year back , and surprisingly even today the ' attitude ' towards customer is the same . Strangely it is the same in the other branches on OMR ! All the branches managers need training in being customer oriented .

Sweets are good, but the service is not. The service personnel are insulting the buyers, speaking in Hindi themselves and insulting the buyers. It makes us not want to go to that branch which is opposite Turyaa hotel.

Worst service ever. We came to order sweets for the company. Which was around 20 boxes. We were badly illtreated by the employees there. We can understand that it's the last moment but, It would have been great if we could have got a better response when we asked wheather customisation is available. Finally a manager helped us through the process. Kindly look into this. Very bad customer service.

Our attempt to enjoy breakfast at Sree Gupta Bhawan turned into a regrettable experience. The staff's rude and unwelcoming behavior was so off-putting that we had no choice but to walk out without even having our meal. It's disheartening when a basic expectation of hospitality is not met, and it significantly tarnished our perception of the establishment. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their customer service.

These spoons are washed and ready to serve they said! But it looks disgusting. When we asked why it was like this.. that person was showing attitude and speaking in Hindi. Not the local language or English. Just a fancy restaurant outside, but It's disgusting inside.

Gupta Bhavan has carved a niche for itself as a great place for chats and sweets in the city. Apart from that , they serve milkshakes , vegetarian north Indian dishes and snacks. The combos ( ghar ki thali ) are value for money and best shared among 2 people since one person alone cannot finish ( unless s/he is very hungry!!). The starters are a bit spicy. Clean ambience and courteous staff. Perfect place to have a snack.

In ground floor there is a sweet shop and in first floor there is a restaurant where we can get North Indian and Chinese dishes. They don't have South Indian dishes, which was a let down. Their service and food are good.
