A very good restaurant which is completely vegetarian. They have variety of dosas , like maggi dosa. Best is, it's not expensive. The have stopped their breakfast services off late, but restaurant is open from afternoon onwards. Try their ghee dosa and tattu idly, they are good. I like rasa vadai and sambhar vadai here. My first choice restaurant in my locality.

A small vegetarian Cafe with a variety of menu options both Indian and chinese. Traditional Dosa Adai Aviyal are very good. You can get value for money at this Cafe. This place also delivers via all the food aggregators. It serves breakfast lunch snacks and dinner.

A small vegetarian restaurant with a not so variety in choices. But they do cook very well. The food is delicious (though it was a tad salty at one time). You also get coffee though I haven't tasted it there. It's a South Indian style restaurant but they do make excellent roti and phulka. The side dishes are not limited but I suggest not to overdo your craving. :) Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available but they don't last long - especially idli. The pricing is ok. Personally some may find it a bit higher than usual but that's subjective. They are available on swiggy, zomato and Uber eats. That's a boon for a segment of people. Parking is outside and it's not much. But you can park in the street opposite to the hotel.

skanda, is the newest neighborhood restaurant. having been there about 3 or 4 times, the food seems to be consistent, rightly priced and most of all the owner is most hospitable. breakfast includes a wide variety of dosas, idli and vada. there's lunch served from 1130hrs onwards and evening continues into snack and dinner has a right balance of South and North Indian cuisine. there's Chinese too, though I wouldn't recommend you to try.

Best variety of food I have tasted in thiruvanmiyur, Dont miss their podi dosa and idiyappam with "chettinadu soji kurma" the prices are very economic too.

From the outside I thought I would be entering into a very well maintained vegetarian restaurant .. I would say was rather disappointed.! The food was a little less than warm.. As compared to other restaurants where food is smokey hot .. I was there for breakfast! They should definitely try towards improving on the taste side too! Poori was delicious! Chutneys were impeccable! Coffee was OK! The restaurant definitely needs to improve on their interiors!
