Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing service! Food was tasty. Cost about 500/person and the portions were just right. Very pleasant ambience and clean place. Great option for vegetarians!

Service was painfully slow. Food arrived quite late and when it arrived, there was no accompaniment. Had ordered speciality dishes viz paneer angara and naans. There was no salad etc given with it, had to ask for it and again for mint chutney. I was quite ignored and found the service was quite biased at times. I wasn’t given the finger bowl either while others were. It doesn’t seem under staffed but apparently mismanaged. Disappointed with the service and the food was not bad but not anything to remember either. The tiramisu milkshake was just an over sweet chocolate syrup milkshake with some coffee added apparently. Wanted to order dessert too but given the long time I didn’t. There are better restaurants out there.

Tables are too close to eachother. This makes whole place like a fish market. Please refuse the centre tables. Even roadside eateries, tables spread comfortably. Check another Italian veg restaurant that is just 100 meters from here. We visited Saturday 7:30pm and during tat time noted this place pathetically understaffed. Around 40+ customers and noted just 5 waiters. One guy seems to be a manager and was always on the phone. Everything is delayed. We need to beg someone to take our order. Next table folks waited so long and when they received the main course they requested him to pack and asked for bill. For this kind of service they are charging 100 bucks service charge. In spite of this, whatever we ordered the food tasted awesome.

A great vegetarian multi-cuisine, with great ambience and friendly staffs. The quality of food is great. Moderately expensive, but clean and hygienic. Has Chinese, Italian, and Indian cuisine. The food is tasty and well servered; while the portions were not so great (Especially, the starters quantity were too low for its price). The breads/rotis were hot and soft, unlike most other restaurants. It would cost about ₹800 per person for a normal not-too-heavy meal.

Our experience at Haven Sampoorna was pleasant. The place is quaint and cozy. The service was good and the food was lovely. We tried the assorted Appetizer platter, the veggie lasagna and the sizzling brownie. Only the brownie was a let down as the pan was too hot but overall everything was good! Would recommend visiting.

Fell in love with vegetarian food for the first time... WoW.. Update: As a good practice, I do wait for a day to see how the body accepts the food and provide an updated comment. By far this has been one among the few places where my super sensitive stomach did not over react. My compliments to the wonderful chef, and the polite and friendly staff members of this establishment..

The place has been revamped and now looks very spacious. The menu has also been changed for good. The whole atmosphere is completely different from what it was earlier. The soups, starters and the main course were all good. You have parking on the main road. The service was also quick. Overall good feel when you come out.

Ordered tomato soup was great came with bread sticks then starter paneer Tikka sure shot 5star best Tikka had in recent times next for main course lucknowi Biryani was also good mild flavourful and tasty. Next up for desserts paan icecream it was in-house fully made and customized by them unbelievably tasty sure shot try this and next time you will 100% visit to try this alone best paan icecream never tasted something like this before.

Fantastic food, great service and ambience. Love the view. So happy to see good Vegetarian restaurants in Besant nagar. Went there twice the last time I visited Chennai from the US! Loved it both the times. Food is top notch. Prices are up there too but I think it’s totally worth it. Went there the 1st time w family and the next time w my friend. We pretty much ordered everything from the menu. We are huge foodies and loved everyone ate. The kids loved it too. The portions are sumptuous. They have an amazing starter selection, the Indo-Chinese, the North Indian food and the deserts are amazing. The drinks too are great. Loved the Non-alcoholic beverage selections all the mock tails are great. The kids went bonkers over the dessert fondue. It was huge! Loved it. Would Highly recommend it. Can’t wait to go there the next time we visit Chennai. It’s a jewel in Besant nagar for sure. It’s 5* place for sure. They accept all forms of payment. They don’t have a designated parking so you will have to find parking on the street. It’s located up the stairs in the corner complex. Lift is available but we took the stairs. The decor is beautiful. The staff are super sweet including the door’s man.

A small haven in Besant Nagar - with excellent food. Cheesy soup was rich while the tomato basil soup was tangy Pasta had generous amounts of fresh tasty sauce while lucknow biryani was gently spiced and aromatic without being in your face. The pastas come with two small pieces of garlic bread and a mocktail - also small. The food was fresh and portions were decent. While not exactly cheap (about Rs 600 per person) the somewhat noisy place (tables are close and crowded with clientele) is worth visiting - particularly as you can go Chinese, Italian or North Indian as you please. BTW Eazydiner reservation was not accepted. some mismatch between restaurant and Eazydiner app which still thinks it gave reservations

A real haven for all the vegetarian folks. Well designed menu, wide variety starting from soups, starters, salads, pastas, north Indian cuisine and finishing off with desserts. The red bean soup was so rich with vegetables and very well cooked. It jus tingled our taste buds and pumped up our appetite. The Haven sampoorna platter was the beginning of the entire meal, the platter had baby corn, veg cutlet, paneer and Gobi. Sumptuous for 3 pax. Good quantity. You name the pasta, they serve the same with panache. Not to miss the gulab jamun, it's not the ordinary, it was cut and decorated and dipped in milk sauce kind of stuff. Was out of the world. A must visit restaurant. Highly recommended. Hats off to Deepak and team.

Small restaurant with delicious veg food. Their interior setup needs to be improved as you can see few focus lights directly hitting your eyes. Parking is a challenge during weekends. We tried Lasagna and Alfredo pasta.

Hi, I went to the restaurant on a Tuesday. I ordered for a pasta with vegetables (with red sauce). I specified I can't take much of spice (I was informed, little spice will be there). After I started eating, I felt it's too spicy for me. Staff came over to my table and asked if I could eat looking at way I was struggling. When I said I could not due to spice, chef came over and said he will add bit of cheese and white sauce to reduce the spice. They gave the modified dish. It tasted awesome :). It was not crowded, as it was Tuesday. I am not sure if the service level will be the same during weekends. Thanks

Decent place in Besant Nagar to have fine vegetarian lunch or dinner. The food tastes good and the ambience is very good. More tables are there. You will like the quiet atmosphere too. There may be a waiting time on weekends but it's worth it. Its air conditioned. In addition to normal South and North Indian dishes, Italian dishes are a speciality here. You get varieties of Pastas, Tomato based Vegetable stew, Lasagna, Cannelloni al ferno and so on with different types of soups, rice varieties, starters and breads. Service is ok but can be improved. Nice place to dine with family and friends. Though the price looks a bit on higher side for a la carte items you may say it's alright for the taste and ambience. The seating is good and can have a window view of Streets. On normal days the Thali is priced at Rs 325/- and on weekends it is a bit higher. Accepts cards. Parking is on the main road. They have posted the photos of famous Vegetarians like Steven Spielberg, Sunder Pitchai, May West, Elvis Presley and so on. You can browse the photos while waiting. They have a big party hall which could accomodate about 40.

This place has the tastiest veg food in Besant Nagar. The two servers- Sanju and Deepak, will cater to your every request. They can make special dishes that are not on the menu. Also they are flexible. The best dish are spicy biryani with the kofta and sauteed vegetables. Just cannot go wrong.

The place can be visited only for its ambience- the food is worst. 1.The HS spl. Biryani was worst, its like tomato rice that will be give in templs ( even that will taste better) 2. Lacha paratha - no layers in it, no butter.was hard to eat 3. Kadai Mushroom was flavourless. 4. Nachos - he gave Josh corn chips and potato cream dip.( cost rs. 295) If u want to eat good food, am sorry for u Sorry to write this way, but truth is bitter.

We ordered a veg. sizzler that gave both me and my husband some amount of acidity. The oil used was strange, to say the least, we felt this during the meal itself. May be that's exceptional because the water chestnut starter didn't seem to have this issue. We may go back but will stay away from the veg sizzler. For dessert we had a delicious suger cane sorbet. Service is good, staff is courteous :-)

Excellent Godspeed service - Johnson gave us a Table for 9 people in record time, a full 30 minutes before his promised time. All the dishes we ordered too were brought very fast - the waiters were very efficient. Almost all the dishes were good - except their signature dish "Haven Devil Sizzler". This dish (Sizzler) was very big disappointment - I can safely say that the cook(s) who made this dish must sent for a comprehensive repeat training. Nice family place to be. Be there early to avoid the crowd.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in chennai.. Absolutely loved the food and the total ambiance of the restaurant. We ordered chef paneer platter in starter which is worth trying. In main course we had paneer angara, dal makhani and naan which was also up to the mark. And desert we had sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream which is of heavenly taste. You should definitely try that.I would definitely recommend the place if you are a foodie lover like me...

This is a purely vegetarian restaurant. Parking is limited. Basically road side parking is there. Generally the place is full and you need to wait for sometime to get table. The food preperation time is nearly 25-30 min. The food is really delicious and worth the wait. Service is nice and the staff is also friendly and helpful. During weekends the place is rushed always! Must visit for pure vegetarians.
