Located in perungudi the Gaurav vada Pav Center was on my wishlist for a very long time... Though my sister lives nearby i have never got a real chance to visit the place... But last week when i was there to pick my sister i made sure to visit the place.... The reason being the almost authentic vada pavs(as suggested my friends).. Though am a fan of vada pavs i have never had a taste of authentic mumbai vada pavs... And when many claimed this to be authentic i made up my mind to try it for sure... Service was quick and prompt.. On busy evenings it might take time though The vada pav was just awesome... Soft fluffy pav coated with chilli paste and pudina paste.... The vada hot and crispy.... Wherever i have had the vada pavs earlier had the soft bonda types... This is the first crispy vada i have had...definitely a must try according to me in chennai..... Priced at 25rs i am sure to try them again when i get a chance.... P.S : The pavs are best had here...the vadas tend to get soft after packing and doesnt give such a good taste as having here....

Delicious authentic Maharashtrian style Vada pav. Clean & well maintained outlet. There are other delicious dishes available but it's not always available. Sometimes you may have to wait for a while.

The best vada pavs and the only place where it's made right then n there and not like the frozen ones you get across Chennai. The cook is a Maharashtrian lady who makes the most crunchy vada pavs in this part of the world.

Came all the way from Mylapore to taste the authentic Mumbaicha VadaPav... Tasted great with garlic and green chutney....loved it. Go too place if you want the exact taste of Mumbai VadaPav.

Before having Vada pav from here I expected a lot about the taste but disappointed. Even the reviews were good. But my verdict is different. It's a small shop located nearby many IT PARK. The cooking place is quite clean which I like the most neat and tidy. Now talking about the food I ordered. Cheese Vada pav - not like the Mumbai Vada pav . Just okay in taste. Misal pav - was not at all good. Vada pav - was also okay. The only best thing about this place is that it's pocket friendly. 15 Rs for Vada pav.

This pretty famous among those who works in and around SP Infocity. The Vada Pav we get here is our favourite whenever we feel like eating something good. These guys have moved from the place marked here to side gate of SP Infocity.

Best Vada Pav and Dabeli in Chennai. Used to be my go-to place before the pandemic and now recently I started visiting it again. They're really hard working people making authentic vadapav, dabeli, pav bhaji, etc. One of the most underrated places in Chennai for north indian street food. If you haven't tried it yet, I can vouch for them, do try!

Found an authentic Vada pav centre in Chennai. They also provide shabudana Vada and on demand at times keep Misal pav. I could feel the taste of Vada pav as on the streets of Maharashtra.

When you are in Chennai visit my brother place, he serves the best vadapav after some real iconic vadapav restaurants in Mumbai .

The shop is relocated to SP info side gate from MGR road, they make tasty vada pav but the staffs are very very slow, so be prepared to wait for your order get served

Try their Vada pav, worth it!. I've been eating their Vada pav for almost 8 years and they still taste the same and the taste is amazing. It's a small shop where you go to buy a hot af vada pav and eat with your buds on the street .

I used to have Vada pav from this shop when it started off on the main road, one of the best at that time. Went to this one a week before...the shop has just moved into a small lane near the main road. High expectations, but it was not the same as before...it's okay kind.

I found a hair last time so they need to improve their hygiene. Otherwise It is okayish. I've had better ones from sowcarpet. But compared to some chain outlets its much better. They need to have alternate payment options like gpay/paytm

Dabeli is not recommended as being gujju I can say it as I had many authentic ones but can be better for sure

Discovered by chance on 3-1-2023. And writing review on 4-1-2023. Amazing vada pav. I am a Bombayite and definitely the taste matches the ones available there. Misal pav is on my wish list. I would have tried sabudana kichadi , but its not made it seems. Will visit regularly, as I am in Prince Office..The family is from Ratnagiri it seems.

Nice little place for the Marathi Quick Eats. Misal Pav and Vada Pav were pretty good. Almost replicated the native Maharashtrian flavor.

Great taste of classic vadapav. Quite similar to Mumabi vadapav. The classic dabeli too close to the taste which you get in southern part of gujarat. Hygienic place. Should try if you are around the place.

Its not bombay like.. Size is toooo very small.. actual vada doesn't fit in pav it's generally bigger.. while gaurav 2 vada fit easily in 1 pav.. To Owner - please don't fool people with it either remove bombay name or make it like that..

With mixed reviews, I really wanted to check for myself how so many people believe it's the best Vada pav and some don't think it's good. Hygiene was very much wanting, but to their defence it's in line with a string of really cheap shops. I don't think they can afford to do it any better. The taste was not even close to Mumbai Vada pav though. It just disappointed me greatly.
