Expensive as this place is located inside mall. This place will be crowded and noisy during weekends. Servers will serve you water bottle without letting us know that the water bottle is chargeable. Idly was ok. But filter coffee was one of the worst ever.

The indian food and service is good. Rava onion dosa, sambar idli and filter coffee is reasonably price and taste is good!

An awesome experience for us especially when we come from overseas, it’s not for the tips but the humble way of serving was extraordinary, we were in phoenix mall and was served by mr vighneshwaran and we were touched by his courtesy for me as I was having a bad cough and he offered me a sweet to soften my cough. Now that is called a good customer service by heart..Thank you guys for making it pleasant for me and my family.

As usual very costly. Since it’s located in the mall. They do have only dosa items after 10’o clk. I have ordered Panner 65 is very oily, after few pieces not able to eat. But taste is good. Pls look for this items and make sure giving nice item which we pay for it.

Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan at Phoenix Market City is really good. Ambience is good. I tried the starters and rice varieties, both are really very good. A good vegetarian restaurant at the Phoenix Market City. Schezwan Fried Rice was particularly exceptional.

It was fantastic experience at this restaurant last week with my family. Located inside Phoenix mall with ample seating and good ambiance, this is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city. We tried their mushroom biriyani, North and South Indian meals along with parotta. Coffee was great to end the sumptuous meal. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Rating 4/5

I have had sweet memories of eating tastier food and snacks in their other outlets. But this place doesn't live up to the brand's reputation. You can't choose what you want to eat from the menu. The waiter will give you what is available whatever time you visit. They will charge you ₹60 for an 80ml glass of warm water in the name of coffee or tea. Not worthy of what you pay. Too much wait time even for simpler orders and even if it is not crowded. Funniest experience we had is, the cleaning person tried to remove our empty plates, when we had to explain her that food wasn't served in the first place. Wouldn't think of visiting the place once again.

I can see many positive reviews here. Did they eat in different outlet? But I’m sorry everyone. This is below an average veg restaurant . No taste in anything. Plain. No banana leaf. For this price they can easily provide banana leaf. And eating in their plastic plate is really pathetic.

We visited Vasantha Bhawan after our evening movie show,worst experience ever,first we asked for fried rice,the staff denied it saying it was over,then we asked for noodles they said that too was over,so we ordered dosa.to my utter surprise,a customer who came after us ordered fried rice and noodles n both were served to them.i even raised this issue with the cashier and manager,they didn't even apologize for it and just ignored it.the bill was given after about 20 mins after we completed our dinner and that after asking the cashier again

One of the worst place to eat in phoenix. We ordered one veg noodles (the taste would have been way better in a roadside fast food joint ) the price for that was 200/- !!!! . Gobi Manchurian was again 200/- !! (The taste did not definitely justify the price !! ) . One Chola Puri which became hard and dry in a few seconds and the channa masala tasted like garam masala gravy! Price 150/-!!! . Two filter coffee 130/- !!! . The price we paid was not at-all justifiable! The government or any department has to take this matter and bring some sort of control on restaurants when it comes to quality and pricing ! This is just looting !

I’ve been here thrice since it’s opening. If you want to go for South Indian food at Phoenix this might be your best bet. It’s always crowded. Dunno if it’s my bad luck or so but whenever I go there the air conditioning doesn’t seem to work. Not sure if I am unlucky or if this is a regular issue. Seating is comfortable and they offer a wide variety of dishes. Do try their Nutella dosa, mix veg uthappam and panamkalkandu paal.

The interior is beautifully done. Their food is great too. Let's come to the quality of service, it needs immediate help. The staff seem to be overworked. Menu card covered in ice cream/ drinks, not sure. The water glasses are not cleaned properly. There were tissues flowing on water and sambar. Pickles are kept in an open plastic box near the wash area, I could go on.... I understand weekends are hectic. The least they could do is hire additional help for weekend service for the sanity of the staff and customers. And, finally, please do a hygiene check.

It's at 2nd floor of pheonix mall, completely pure veg. Fully crowded so we thought food will be good...during peak hours u hv to wait for atleast 30 mins to get seat.. as we don't hv much option for pure veg in this mall, so it's bit crowded...We ordered north indian thaali, nothing served hot except paneer butter masala. Roti with one gravy, fry and veg briyani with raitha papad and curd rice.. roti is bit hard, goby fry very soggy.. briyani added with 200% salt, we complained with server they jus said will consider but nothing alternative given.. we jus wasted d complete briyani bcoz of salty... Cost wise this menu is not worth at all.. at bill counter v complained that didn't complete our lunch then they compensated with water melon juice...will never visit again...bad lunch after a long wait .

This shop is located inside pheonix market City Velachery. It is the only good restaurant for vegetarian in the mall. Food tastes good but can be improved. Always crowded especially during lunch. We have wait to get a table here. Everytime we go for this restaurant it is always crowded. Ambience is really good. Customer service can be improved a little.

Ordered rava podi dosa and podi uthappam both tasted good. Chutney and sambar are tasty. Ambience is very good. They are maintaining it very well. Service is very quick and responsive.

No frills restaurant with time and tested recipes idly .dosa, Gobi Manchurian and tea was the perfect combo here for tea time.

Food was amazing here. We always come for the coffee they make but this time we tried their food. The Paneer Manchurian we ordered was lip smacking, Mushroom Pepper Fry was damn good too. And of course their hospitality was awesome - Thanks to Mr Selvam.

The food was amazing here, the staff were courteous and amazing. Mr. Sampath was very helpful with selecting what items we should try, he came and checked up on us multiple times to make sure everything was good and we liked it. With respect to the food, the food was delicious and affordable. I would come back here to have this more often. The atmosphere was serene and calm, and the vibe was chill. I felt peaceful around this place. I'd suggest y'all give this a try.

Walked into the renovated Vasantha Bhavan at Phoenix with a lot of expectations! Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment! Poor reception at the entrance. When restaurants are running full, they maintain a register of guests waiting outside and call the guests when seats are available. Most food items were not available (understandable as it was 3.30 pm on. Sunday and it was rush hour). What this restaurant lacks is management of guests and quality SERVICE. It's quite surprising that the Phoenix Mall authorities have not taken notice. Visit at your own risk!

I would love to express the last night experience. It's been so long since we are in this hotel. We were 12 and though it was huge staffs arrange the table for us. Everyone were polite and service was great. I would highly recommend if someone try their service. Food has no issue. Their podi kara dosa was top notch and we kinda liked it. All the orders were came to our table on time.

Visited couple of times, but our recent experience was not that good. Food quality was average but cost of each item is very high. Cost may be high because it is inside phoenix market city, however the tables are not properly cleaned. We repeatedly told them to clean the table. Half of the tables were empty, but they are making customers to wait. Some of the menu items were not available. The server who served us was demanding tips openly.

Extremely delayed service despite having fewer crowd & sufficient manpower. The food was also not up to the standards, poori items were very hard. Had many customers complaining about the poor service. Will never visit this place again...

Awesome idli and kaapi - truly authentic stuff

This is about the phoenix mall branch. Only one good: the manager tried very hard to help. But it looked like his waiters and cooks were definitely not even interested in helping. To talk about the bads: It had very bad hygiene. Water was full of dirt, the cups even had oil sediments at the bottom, we ordered 1 dosa per person (we were 4) which took more than an 1/2 hr to deliver. When we requested for it to speed up, waiters were extremely rude and one even said (if you can't wait you can leave).

We visited on a Sunday night. So we understand there would be some heavy crowd. Still i feel the management could have coordinated a lot better. Pros: Ambience Cons: Quality of good. Service was the biggest con. Very poor service indeed. Ill mannered waiters and no presence of manager. We visited there with 3 toddlers who were crying due to hunger. They seldom cared. Hot water was not given. Would recommend against visiting the restaurant during crowded hours alone.
