Morning Tiffins Idly, Dosa and other tiffins also very good taste and best sambar and chutney in this region must try for there sambar better than A2B Suggestion is Tiffins price are in Higher side for self service. Can price cut by 20 percent. Because, coffee 35 rupees and vada 30 feels higher in price Tiffins rating - 4.5 /5 Lunch Mini meals 65 rupees - best combo ever comes with sambar rice, curd rice, brinji, tamarind rice and one poori highly recommended for frequent eaters. All rices taste good with good quantity Chapathi is soft and good Parotta with chana again nice combo In lunch menu I won't complain the price it's perfect. Rating - 5/5 Workers very fast in serving, clean and hygienic atmosphere and overall ambience rating - 4/5 I personally like your restaurant very much with love i want to inform an unnoticed issue happening in your restaurant. In Entrance , there 3 to 4 beggers who always torturing and irritating the people who visit. We can't enter and exit the restaurant peacefully. I can feel sad for them but, they irritating too much some small kids grabbing the hands for money. The watchmen in restaurant is useless he sit in one corner watch all the things. Decent restaurant in the .ain place. Very quick in service and moderately crowded. Food taste is average cost is also moderate. The billing person is very customer friendly. Tables are free mostly you can also use the standing podium for eating quickly. The restrooms are pathetic even the wash basin is not cleaned properly. You have bill first and get your items no table service. Rose milk and badam milk is awesome but costs more

It's an okayish restaurant to try Tamil breakfast items. It's definitely over-hyped probably because it's close to Besant Nagar beach which attracts a lot of footfall The place is crowded and hence you might have to wait a while and there's limited seating. Coming to the food itself, apart from the Ghee Podi Idly - everything else I tried was just Ok. Not bad, but not something I would say I relished either. It's definitely overpriced for the taste and the atmosphere.

Idli Sambhar, Pongal, Rava Dosai, chapati, Ghee Rava Masala dosa, Rasa Vada, even coffee are very good and my favourites too and as far as taste is concerned there is no comparison with other eateries! You get North indian dishes like Chappati, Parothas, side dishes as well as chinese items like noodles and Chat items. Mini lunch is surprisingly priced at low price and consists of variety rice items like Sambhar Rice, Tamarind rice, Curd Rice Tomato or Keerai( Green leafy vegetable) rice, chips, sweet . Can't go but want to order from home? No problem, food delivery apps like Swiggy are there to get you in 30 mts all the time! Cars can be parked just on the opposite side of the road and two wheelers can be parked just in front of the restaurant on the road.

The taste of South Indian food was at its best. This restaurant serves a large variety of vegetarian food. Overall experience was very great.

It is one of the best restaurants for veg I could recommend, we ordered ghee podi dosa which was yo yummy then we ordered onion podi dosa it was also superb and then at last we ordered poori it was good . My must try recommendation is ghee podi dosa. The rates are reasonable.

Great Veg place. It's been here for a very long time and is a staple of the besant nagar experience. Be prepared for some waiting time if you are going on Sunday morning as this is the place people come after running and cycling on the beach side to come here for breakfast. The food never disappoints. Their staple of keera Vada, special vadas is always good and for people who love poori, you will always get hot steaming poori even at 10 in the morning. It's self service so you need to make sure the waiters notice you and get the order on crowded days but other days it's smooth sailing.

Good food and the place has improved a lot in terms of service and accomodating new variety of items. But the delivery options isn't recommended though

Vishranthi is my favorite go to place for quick food. The menu is standard and offers ample of varieties, self servicing. Only thing is it's always crowded and has only 20 seats.

Absolutely incredible food, staff is so polite and friendly, they took time to explain to us what kind of diferent curries they have. We chose Puri(deep fried puffed bread) with Chana(chickpeas) and we were left speechless. It was so tasty, full of flavour and not spicy at all. Definitely coming back here to try more things from their menu. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was really good, and at very cheap prices with no compromise on quality. It is self-service and there can be a crowd in peak timings but deserves praise! You can visit it while returning from the Edward Elliot beach in the morning.

Tasty food, courteous staff. It's a self-service restaurant, though. Hygienic. Served on banana leaf on half-plates. Pricing is reasonable. The whole atmosphere is excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to all.

Real taste of South. Dosa, idli everything was delicious and price was also reasonable.

By the crowd it was evident that the food was of good quality. I really liked the Vada but the ghee roast had so much gee in it but overall the experience was nice .

It's a small restaurant where it can only accommodate 20 people at the maximum. Have to wait if you go at peak hours. Food quality is good and tastier. However, for a self service restaurant like this, price is expensive. Just because it's located in Besant nagar does not mean they can make it costlier.

Quality and Quantity is good. Price not suitable for the self serviced non AC restaurant. Prices are competing with almost any average and above restaurant. But you won't see any veg restaurants around that area.

A nice restaurant in Besant Nagar. Tasty, not much spicy food. Good service and clean. It reminds me of another restaurant at the same place, about 45 years back, by name Anand Snack Bar. Their too the food used to be good, with plain Dosai costing 50 paisa and Masala Dosai 60 paisa if my memory is right! I would have rated 5☆ for the food, except for the tea which was too milky for me. Perhaps, taste differs with everyone. Overall, very happy being there, would go again.

I have visited this Restorent on 25th October 2023 between 6.20 & 6.40 PM for two parcel at the billing dusk, but the person at the counter told me to come at 7.00 PM, so I went to the beach and came back at 7.05 PM, again that person told me to wait so I waited in front of the desk. After 5 to 10 minites that person left the counter without any response. Then I asked for the items to the next person who came to the counter, but he simply said it is not ready and avoided me. He was even not ready to say when it will be ready, hence I legt the place. I felt bad because they are careless and not giving any value for others time.

This a small restaurant with a few tables and is open to the road. I feel it is mainly a takeaway restaurant. But for fast service and a quick snack this is the right place. It is pure veg and there is a counter where we pay and collect our food. The service is super fast. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty.

Awesome shop to taste proper south Indian dishes. Taste is spectacular and quantity served is enough. the only concern is that Chinese dishes like noodles and fried rice is way too much oily. Must eat in this place at least once cause their sambar is tooo tasty

Self service hotel. prices are moderate but taste and portions are good. washroom is there. place gets crowded during morning times on weekends. parking is not available. south indian items are good here also they give good coffee.

Self service only..food seems to be costly. For the same price other AC restaurants will serve on the table. Taste is not good as before. Crowd floats in, but all are coming for the name they had earlier. Definitely needs improvement to maintain the customer and name in the market.

It's a decent but overrated place. You can have above average tasting food at reasonable prices. Better than the various Bhavans.. in the city. However if you are looking for delicious food given their vintage then you would be disappointed. Thumbs up to their tea and coffee.

Food is great - Price is reasonable - Wash area stinks and disgusting. How can you keep a wash area that stinks so badly due to poor upkeep of toilet nearby

This place is always crowded. Best time I enjoyed would be early in the mornings when you get to see cyclists, sports men and women, and walkers who enjoy their coffee amongst cheer and chatter after exercise. One should avoid weekends as there would be unbelievable crowd.

Very high pricey for evening snacks and coffee. Sambhar is over hyped in food reviews. Taste is good, but not value for $$$. Downgrading stars after recent visit from 5 to 2.

Food taste and qty is ok. But staff should be little more care on customer. I ordered noodle for my kid. There was a Long hair in it. I told them about that but not responded properly. We left with hungry after paid full money.

Good south indian veg breakfast and coffee. Very popular with morning walkers and beach goers. Tend to get crowded as the day progresses. Worth trying and experiencing.

Good place for breakfast. Masala Vada and Pongal with sambar was amazing. Consistency of milk in coffee could be better, it was more like watery.

All time the best place. You will find such friendly people at the food counter.. who will listen to all your requests in customizing the food. Excellent packaging. If you are around Besant Nagar, it’s a must visit place for South Indian food lovers.
