The Banana Leaf they provided was like Reusable.. it was like they have not properly washed the already used leaf by previous customer.. Once I opened the leaf, it was fully mixed of Buttermilk, and watery... It was a disgusted feeling..

Awesome place to have lunch. Food quality is also good, but be careful if you are driving there, coz there is no parking place for car as it's on very crowded area/ road but for bike you will get some place to park

Food was ok. We ordered full meals. We need to ask for every thing like papad, paayasam and extra poriyal. We asked for parupu podi since that was included. They provide dal podi for free but charge for providing Ghee. It was not intimated while we asked for podi. They have added 26rs for 5 table spoon Ghee. It was worst and pathetic. Then we asked to reduce the amount for paayasam which was not provided ded since it was not available or the stock ran out, then they agree to not charge for the Ghee. Normal meals 85 and Meals with Dal podi and Ghee-110rs. Ok ok hotel not bad.

It was crowded... The meals was average Rs.85. Fried rice were bit expensive... Average taste and service. Billing is always crowded and delayed process. Issues in two wheeler parking . we have to park it in the road side. No optional for 4 wheeler parking... The clean and neat wise also average... please refer attached Images

Whenever I get chance to eat outside, I prioritize eating in Vasantha Bhavan food chain because the quality of food, manner of serving and list of items remind me the traditional way of Indian feast when we used to sit down and have our food. During the peak time there is heavy rush and may be you have to wait for sometimes. Here you can also get options for Chienese food, Tandoori, deserts and beverages.

I would give negative rating if there was an option! An absolute waste of time and money. Thoroughly disappointed. Used to be good at one point in time. But now,hopeless..we had their spl limited breakfast combo(Rs 100)comprising of 1 idli,1 mini podi dosa, 1 vada, mini poori, sweet(kesari), ven pongal, vada curry, 2 chutneys and sambhar,mini coffee..the quantity as such was quite less...dosa was fit to be called micro and it had literally no podi. Idly was hard. No trace of ghee in kesari or pongal. Side dishes were all below average. And to end it,a very sugary coffee. The poori was the only thing which was atleast edible. Never felt so disappointed after any meal. I really repent coming here for breakfast!

When in need of South Indian lunch if I am in Adyar locality, this is my most preferred hotel. Best value for money. Food quality, quantity and service of their staff are excellent. The only disadvantage is in finding a parking space and walking over to the hotel.

Less varieties of food. Service somewhat ok. Not a good place for budget. Their room fragrance smells like, you are in temple. But, it's not that much good. Only veg peoples like this place. My all time favorite place to dine. I usually go to Mylapore tank Vasantha bhavan. Unfortunately to go to Lattice bridge road Vasantha Bhavan. I am sorry to say that the quality was very average. I ordered meals, they served sambar, just one vegetable, applama of a very bad quality and I was charges extra for curd.

Good food. nostalgia got me to this place. I strongly recommend the veg thali. But the interiors of the place are worn out, very poorly maintained, seats of sofa torn beyond repair, toilets and washroom not taken care properly, Owners minting money by don't want to invest any money back into the business. Got my sister and mother here but was shocked with the way the management has taken care of it since I saw it 20years back

Decent food at nominal rates. Have been eating here for the past 15 years, the quality hasn't changed and is good. They also offer take away services. The place isn't usually crowded and the customer service is good. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food. The ambience might be a bit plain. The restrooms aren't maintained well. As other reviews suggest, check the bill for proper GST tariff. I'm unaware of it.

This is maintained by guru mess ...they are situated on a strategic place where there are no good veg restaurants on that side for several kilometers...but in separate parking...we have to on the main road..quite busy road at our own risk is a drawback but then no choice of another hotel nearby.. Food is nearly good but can be better... Service is a bit slow ..they need to pick it up fast....overall at that location you dont have a choice unless you cross the road but then you find the same hotel another branch....

Most of time I had my lunch here. They provide good taste and quality food. In recent days they forget about taste and quality, more than 3 times I have informed about the less taste of the food. The menu is good. But I could feel the difference in quality of service and clarity of pricing. The waiters were not clear of the pricing of items and the bill values of certain items were exorbitant than what was mentioned in the menu. No clear insight and explanation was given even by the cashier. Had to argue and get it fixed.

Less on staff. Took a lot of time. Servers didnt speak Tamil so items were not delivered as ordered. We ordered bajji and Vada and the batter was not cooked inside and the veg inside bajji was raw.

This was a busy restaurant before pandemic. Now it has a new look but less crowd. Taste wise too good with homely touch and budget friendly.

Food was ok but the water is worst. Even small hotels provide purified water but I don't know what kind of water these guys gave but tasted like bore water. Also the waitress were North Indian and didn't understand much of what we were trying to order.

Good veg restaurant. It was renovated recently and there is a change in the food taste as well. Food is good in the category. We ordered dosa, phulka, gravy and Chinese foods. Good one in the recent dining.

Barring rice & buttermilk, every item was garlic ridden. If you are someone that loves garlic, then you will love it here. Otherwise it's just about okay.
