A secluded and calm place with amazing decor and lighting. The milk and sweeteners are organic and farm fresh which is an advantage for diet conscious foodies. I had the dark chocolate croissant and cafe mocha. Croissant was flaky and soft. Could have added more chocolate filling. Ideal for a date or work from cafe folks.

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. This place had a very good ambience and a very secluded spot in Alwarpet. It Was pretty empty for a Sunday and the Service was slow. Started with Tomato basil soup, nachos and Hara Bhara kebab. All items tasted great. Ordered Gobi paratha and Paneer Tikka sizzler(the big tomato in the sizzler was uncooked) for main course. Overall ambience was good, food was great and I had a relaxing time. Only felt the service could have been a bit quicker.

This place seems to boast good vegetarian options after looking at the menu available on zomato but this menu has changed and place which was looking like good vegetarian turned into average option . The seating arrangement is not very spacious and the table cannot accomodate more than 3 dishes. The service is quite laid back and not very prompt. Coming to food the quesadilla and Mexican tacos has similar fillings and there is hardly any difference you can make. The pizza is only saving grace. Only dominating taste is tanginess and one will feel bored taste wise. The place is not pocket friendly and one will not feel worth the amount spent. There are better options in this area

The food here was soulful. We have visited this place few times. We had ordered their thin crust pizza and they were delectable. The salad were as pure as the soul and were crunchy.

The place is located in the quiet streets of Alwarpet you can have a really relaxing time. The pizza they served was heavenly, to be honest. The crust was really good the cheese was good the toppings for good, nachos were served with tomato sauce and cheese sauce it was really nice I can definitely recommend this cute little cafe Life by soul Garden restaurant in Alwarpet.

I tried their veg schezwan noodles which were AMAZING! They were spicy, garlicy and had a really nice smoky flavour. I'll definitely visit this place again to try more of their dishes.

During my recent visit to Lyfe by Soul Garden Bistro in Alwarpet, I was disappointed to find that the establishment did not have many of the items I had hoped to try from their menu. This left me with a mixed impression of the overall dining experience. To begin with, the ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and the decor was modern, creating a comfortable atmosphere for patrons. The staff members were polite however they could be more attentive. The major letdown came when we went through the menu and found that several of the dishes we were excited to try were unavailable. It was quite disheartening. While it is understandable that restaurants may occasionally run out of certain ingredients, the absence of multiple menu items gave the impression of poor planning or management. Despite the limited selection, we decided to make the best of the situation and ordered some of the available dishes viz. Churros With Chocolate Sauce, Soul Garden Multigrain Burger, Tomato and Basil Foccacia Sandwich, Lavash with hummus and Passion Fruit Mojito. Though we did think of ordering plain fries, once the churros was served we felt it would be an overkill and decided to cancel the fries and the same was communicated with the staff. However, eventually the fries were served as well. The food that we did receive was pretty good in terms of taste and presentation. The sandwich and the burger were served with a small portion of salad and potato wedges. The wedges were very fresh and crisp and went well with the Thousand Island dip. The flavors were enjoyable, and the dishes were skillfully prepared. The pricing at Lyfe by Soul Garden Bistro was reasonable for the quality of food provided. The menu, though limited during my visit, offered a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, catering to different dietary preferences. In conclusion, while Lyfe by Soul Garden Bistro in Alwarpet was wonderful except the lack of availability of numerous items from the menu. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident, and the restaurant will take steps to improve their inventory management and ensure a more consistent dining experience for their patrons.

The food was very impressive. It tasted great and the quantity of one dish was more than enough for two people. The vibe was pleasant and cozy. It was a little hard to locate as the front portion of the restaurant was not fully done up.

The worst experience. I placed an order through Swiggy and even though their timing says 11pm, they leisurely took their own time and refused the order. They refused to answer or pick up Swiggy’s call as well. They could have refused the order but not after making me wait for that long. The worst experience and worst service. I even tried calling two numbers mentioned online and both were left unanswered. Such useless service in a restaurant that is rated high and preaches quality service and food is a shame. The fact that they took this long to respond to a mere order confirmation shows how inadequate their service is. Would never recommend. For such prices, the least they can offer is quality.

Felt the place is more about style than substance. The place we sat was suffocating and when we informed the staff they simply said sorry for the inconvenience. I felt the portions are very small for the price they charge. I don't know why people are reviewing that the prices are reasonable. Also the taste is a tad above average except dessert. There are many places with much better ambience and taste.

Very interesting place with different menu, especially fully vegetarian. Personally you have to visit this place like 3 or 4 times to try everything on their menu. The sizzlers here are very good and would recommend. Lotus root also was quite good. Everything else was definitely good and worth a try. The tandoori paneer platter is something I would recommend as well. Also they have a cafe, pastry shop just opposite to the restaurant. You can order from there as well. The Choco bun from there is my favorite. It was hot, soft and white tasty. Definitely one of the interesting and must try vegetarian places in Chennai

This was my first outdoor dining since the Pandemic started and loved the food. We went there for the sole reason of having Khao Suey, which i love. My wife ordered Baked Mac and Cheese which she loved; she recommends that as a must try for Italian food lovers. Khao Suey was good, but the quantity was slightly more filling. So for heavy eaters that would be a blessing. The nachos were also crispy and tasty. The staff were very nice and the ambience was also calming. Overall a good place to hangout for a quick evening catchup.

Tried their Baked Enchiladas -₹350 The place usually has quite a few vegan options. Wanted to try their vegan baked enchiladas only to find out that they didn't have vegan cheese that day. But still went ahead and tried it without the cheese The taste was really good even without the cheese. But given the ambience wasn't all that great, it was good don't get me wrong, and thinking about what would have gone into making the dish, the price tag of 350 really doesn't get justified at all. But still worth emptying your pockets for once maybe! Solely for the taste!

My go to comfort restaurant. I’ve been here countless times and the food is always top notch. They have a vast cuisine spanning dishes from burrito wraps to parathas to pastas. They also have a very decadent dessert menu. The service is quick, and I’ve always have a good time and good food! My personal favourites are the crispy lotus stem, pink sauce pasta and the burrito wrap! From the dessert menu the waffle and ice cream combo is a must try! Had a lovely evening get together with friends here. Food was excellent. Reasonably priced. Ambience was warm. The best part was the service. Very pleasant staff. Had a wonderful lunch at Lyfe! The food was fantastic, especially the cheese pops and cheesy nachos. The mayo that came with the cheese pops is a must-try. The Schezwan noodles were also delicious. However, the cafe's interior felt a bit dull and could use some improvement. Hygiene standards could also be better. On a positive note, the staff were considerate enough to allow us to bring in a cake from outside to celebrate my friend's birthday.

The location is great. Good quality food. The menu is vast. Lots to cover across many visits. Different genre foods make for interesting return visits. Prices are decent, not cheap, not overly expensive. Suggested improvements: Take out boxes are being charged. With Covid times, take out is more likely than eat in, and considering I am not using their plates or real estate for a takeaway meal, I would expect the restaurant to cover the charge of take out boxes. Service is slow. I got here at 11am (advertised as opening time) and the kitchen is barely running. Communication can be improved as well. Didn't get definitive answers of the kitchen situation till I pushed for a response. The two times that I was here, the card machine didn't work owing to network issues. I will still come back, because the food is wonderful and I want to try everything on the menu, would be nice if the organisation is a little more streamlined. Overall , great spot!

The staff is really kind and helpful. I was in chennai for a week and i preferred having my lunch here every single day because of the homely ambience and taste. Loved the customized and flexible menu, since I'm on a keto diet. Definitely gotta try all the paneer dishes, and also salads. 💯

It is a lovely place to spend some quality time with friends and family. The space has good compartments which give us the needed privacy. Ambience is elegant. Service is on point and quick. We ordered lasagna , paneer Tikka sizzler , hot garlic cauliflower, jalapeno pops and broccoli soup!! All were good except jalapeno cheese pops as the quantity was less and we couldn't see/get the taste of jalapeno inside the pops!! For the cost they charge ambience could've been bttr.
