Durga Bhavan used to be better place earlier for morning breakfast and occasional lunch. Right now management is not as good as those days and the cook's employed too I guess, though they are struggling hard to maintain the quality and service, it looks like they are not able to hold their stand. Pongal Vada and sambar used to be my all time favorite breakfast there but the combo lacks the taste of deliciousness. 😐 Coffee too has lost its charm. 😢 Hoping to see some improvements as business grows post covid Lock-Down.

Okay, the taste is fine. But I won't definitely agree with their price for what they are served. Two pieces of Parrota are above Rs. 50, it won't be worth even Rs.30. For Parcel, you have to wait long enough.

One of best vegetarian hotel in Madipakkam. After a long year gap, visited this restaurant with my family. Had a wonderful dinner. I had onion uthappam the taste was amazing and sambar as well as kara chutney taste was mouth watering.... Chinese items is also very good in taste wise and quantity wise also good restaurant. You can have a wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner once visited. Strongly recommend this hotel for your hungry hour's.

Awesome hotel in the city . 70s,80,90s even 20s kids loves the taste. All my home functions we order food from here. They never failed to impress us. Even if you buy 1000 Idly there is no discount here.Always and for all customers same price.Delivery is so quick. Pure Vegetarian hotel and the price is affordable.

Worst ever sever with no manners. We bought 2 biriyani as parcel for 3 person as the quantity will be more it would be sufficient for 3 and took 1 banana leaf for the third person. The waiter present there snatched the leaf and said we won't give for it, if you want go an buy it( there is no issues in refusing but it should be told in a polite manner). What ever taste or Quality you have it doesn't matter you guys have to learn some basic manners . I own a plumbing and hardware shop i respect all my customers as my boss Remember if you lose the customers in business you will be nowhere in your life. I Won't even get near to your shop anymore if many does this you will see the impact.

The food quality has gone down now, Coconut chutney is always spoilt if we get it in the evening. Worst these days pre COVID it used to be good.

All tiffin items are good here. Sambar is the best. I ate Puri as well , it is good. Quality is maintained

Recent times worst and horrible food experience...

Today food was very worst. Ordered veg pulao and waited nearly for an hour. After coming to home and tasting found to be no salt. idly is very bad and always brown in colour. When I bought meals for parcel the dosa sambar was mixed with food sambar in order to increase the quantity. Please imagine the taste. This was very pathetic. Expected a good response and ordered alangara sapadu for house warming function , but the food was totally different and was very worst which I dint expect. Moreover they said they will send two guys for serving, trusted them but they never sent anyone and we had to serve in the busy housewarming schedule. When we eat there food is good but order in bulk the food quality, taste has been totally altered and reduced .. don't ever book food here for housewarming.

Good famous Restaraunt in madipakkam junction. Unavoidable hotel for People around madipakkam. Initially the idly they serve was their speciality, but now getting everywhere in Chennai.

The food is tasty but the service is not worthy. Waiting period is more for parcel, staffs/cashier service towards customer is not appropriate.

A nice place to.grab food....very crowded, food is tasty .. south India varieties or north Indian all very tasty and cheap.... they do use colour buts it's fine once a while

Madipakkam area one of the best hotel and budget range hotel and taste also fine, breakfast all tiffen varaieties lunch meals ,mini meals and varaiety rices are available.they also doing orders for all function.

Best price & quality of the food hope they will maintain the same further.

Cleanliness and hygiene are like any other hotel of this sorts, BUT I have been eating here occassionally since past 3 to 4 years and have never had any digestion/food poison issues. Taste is good and price is reasonable.

This vegetarian hotel is on the main road, you will get good food varities and quality is good for breakfast and dinner but the lunch is very ordinary, its a budget hotel so don't look for good ambience and menu cards. They are not that customer friendly as they wont even provide extra gravy for take away meal / food items even if u ask.

Nice and tasty veg food at an affordable rate. Neat and tidy but if they improve their ambience according to modern time giving 5 star is the only option. The staff are rightly courteous!
