Charming decor at the entrance itself. Very attentive and friendly staff. Extensive menu and each dish sounds tempting. Everything from the soup till dessert was yummy. Though little pricey but the quantity more than makes up for it. Very organized valet parking and waiting area. Definitely worth a visit with family and friends.

Lives up to the expectations. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in chennai that includes Italian and Indian cuisine. Almost all of the items that are ordered excel in taste. French fries were great and fresh. Overall worth it, hassle free valet parking and good service. The one down side is too much waiting time irrespective of booking or first come. Wouldn't not pick during peak hours.

Definitely not worth the hype, Food was decent, ambience was neat. Weekends don't have reservations & the crowd is like marriage function hall. 🙆 Starters cloud have been more atleast with Gobi, quality of food was nice, main course was also let down, big disappointment is dessert. 599 + taxes other veg buffets has more items for the same price.

Our favorite restaurant for delicious and authentic north Indian food. They serve the most yummy buffet that covers 3-course meals with almost every dish as much as you wish. The taste won't disappoint you at all, in fact, they're the best in offering a nice variety of north Indian dishes. Some of the top-rated items are chat, soups, different Punjabi sabzi, roti, naan, and paratha, and of course, the paneer is excellent. They've got super starters too! The ambiance is quite impressive, you can surely look forward to a leisurely meal with family or friends. They've got valet parking, and over the weekend brace yourself for some waiting time because the crowd will be more.

Pakwan ❣️ Good veg restaurant in t-nagar. Waiting place is there and valet parking is available. It's spacious and can accommodate around 75 -90 person per sitting. Recommended for Vegetarians to try Coming to food , we ordered Lucknow Briyani is amazing 🤩. Veg fried rice 🍚, starter we ordered sizzling Panner and baby corn 🌽 chilli . Both are simply outstanding ❣️. Dessert have separate menu card 💖 Having many desserts and platter also available. Mocktails and shakes also there . Food 4/5 Ambience 4/5 Service 4/5

Went for a weekday buffet lunch. Price is a bit expensive at Rs.599 considering the limited menu. Buffet is sit in type (all items are served on the table). The Hara Bhara kebab and Dhai chat starters was good. Panner starter was decent. Panner butter masala in the Main course was good. Noodles was the worst dish of the lot, wet and soggy, not in the good way. Naan was a bit chewy. Desert was also a bit of let down. Rasagulla and ice cream tasted bland. Cake was okay. Over all average for veg buffet. Expensive considering the taste and variety.

We had planned our family event at Pakwan with a pre-ordered Menu. The ambience was quite good. Since we had pre-booked, there was no waiting time for us (Otherwise you might need to wait for a place - especially on the weekend). Our menu had Welcome Drink - Fruit Punch, Soup (Lemon Coriander), Starters comprising Cheeseballs, Spring Roll, Panneer Tikka (Hare Masala Ki Panner), Roti / Kulcha, Dal Pakwan, Noodles, Biryani, Curd Rice, Gulab Jamun, Ice Cream. Soup was the pick of the lot. Most of the items tasted good. Only issue we saw was the quantity they brought was less each time and it could not be sufficient for half of us.So, had to wait for the next serving to relish it. The staff were courteous too. If you are looking for Vegetarian food - especially North Indian types, this is one such place to go. (They have a buffet for lunch as well)

Good veg restaurant in town, we a group of 8 went for lunch on a Sunday. They don't take in reservations, so we were asked to come for direct dine in. This place is little crowded, so would recommend to reach early for the buffet, it starts around 12.00 for Lunch. It's spacious and can accommodate around 75 -90 person per sitting. Had to wait 10 mins to handover the key to the valet driver and another 1 hr and 10 mins to get the table on Sunday afternoon. Opted for sit-in buffet and each item came in quickly. Food was okay and I don't find any wow factor in it. Lots of waiters going up and down but we need to chase someone in case if we need repeat or so

This place has a vast variety of menu. I loved the taste of most items. But my personal favourites were Potli kebab and Lucknow biryani

Had the sitting buffet for lunch. Good experience mainly for the customer service and ambience. One minor concern was that they could have a better and diverse main course. Other than that it was a top notch experience

Location: .. Great location .. Walkable distance from the main road.. Food: Veg restaurant - we went to this restaurant to try out a different menu .. but whatever we asked for was not there, they said it was sold out, even though we entered the restaurant at the right time (8-9:30pm). instead of ordering menu of our choice .... We were forced to select what they were trying to sell ... However, the food was a disappointment for me .... Went with high expectation .... But the name of the dish, taste and price was not justified.. Service: it was good .. food was delivered on time .. Staff were active and attentive... Price: spent 1700 rupees for two people and one kid ... Price did not justify the taste or quantity... So we hesitated to order for more.. Parking: parking space is a bit less ..Valet parking facility was good and staff was very helpful Ambience: Good, nothing to complain about.. at the entrance few properties are kept to take good photos Crowd: full occupancy ... We waited for 15 minutes to get a table .. Very popular restaurant in this area

Restaurant present amidst residential buildings, the ambience is quite good and pleasant. We had the lunch buffet on a Sunday (Sunday after Tamil new year 2022, probably there were less people at work or they couldn't handle too many customers, they were against serving ala carte menu for us). The highlights of the buffet were the welcome drink, lemon coriander soup, paneer tikka and the pastry cake. The other items on the buffet were decent.

Best place to enjoy delicious North Indian veg buffet in Chennai. Every course from starters until desert is awesome. The ambience is high class and the staff are very courteous and helpful. I loved the Gajar halwa and Mango ice cream. Overall a great food and experience for the price paid. Top place and I highly recommend if you're in Chennai.

Very nice multi-cuisine restaurant. Food is delicious but a bit costly. Parking is available but not spacious to handle more cars. Two-wheeler parking is also available. Lift facility available for elders. The timings provided on their Google page is wrong. Original timing images are provided in the pictures below. On the whole, a good family restaurant for good delicious food.

It’s a good North Indian veg restaurant. Weekdays it’s not crowded much and customer service is also good during weekdays. In a buffet Starters Gravy’s welcome drink rotis and some dessert are served. All the served dishes are very tasty. Once during weeknd I visited this place the way they treated the customer was not good. Even on weekends they will wrap the things by 3PM afternoon. We stepped in at 2:30 and ordered some rotis and rice items with few starters, From 2:45 PM the people serving over there keeps coming and says kitchen section will be closed by 3 whatever u want u order now. We still have not finished whatever was ordered and was not sure about the stomach capacity with this how a order will be placed before 3 PM or before completing the ordered food. In this case if they have timing I would suggest them not to allow customers beyond their time.instead of troubling people.

Please don’t visit this restaurant. Food is horrible. I almost cried looking at the moongdal halwa. I literally felt like throwing up after eating the paneer sabzi. The excuse he gave for the food being not nice is Maam it’s weekend so the food isn’t nice 😂 LOL. Please don’t visit this restaurant.

Loved the tandoori paneer biryani here, very unique taste, absolutely in love with the Dum aloo Kali mirch along with garlic naan, very nice interior, good staff behaviour and great food presentation.

The food is perfect. It is pretty good compared to the price. We opted for the buffet and there were lot of veg varieties, which being a non vegetarian couldn't have imagined to exist. Went for dinner. For me it was an excellent food option. Only thing I would suggest the management is to have more options for the complimentory drink that is offered for the buffet.

We stopped for lunch on a weekday and had a sit down buffet option with a good spread and tasty food. Couple of things that stood out to me : being served helps manages portions and ensures food isn't wasted as much as we do when we pick our own food from buffet, very good and quick service and the food had great flavor and taste

A real value for money buffet at 599+ Tax. Good variety and some unique dishes as well. Quick and neat service and courteous drivers. Thought it's termed a buffet they also have ala carte option. The buffet is served on table with multiple servings. Taste is authentic.

I came a bit late to this place. It seems this place does not allow people to enter until the whole group is present, which I find a bit odd. My friends were made to stand outside till I showed up. With respect to the place, the ambience is good. The quantity of food served is fine. The food is tasty. The cost is a bit high. The servers are a bit laid back and take time to respond.

Tried the following items: - Bharwan Amritsari Kulcha - Romali Roti - Badami Shorba - Lal Mirch Ka Paneer Tikka - Kekshan - Shimla Mirch Ki Bhaji - Litchi Ke Rabadi Badami Shorba: Wanted to try something new. Tried this — realized very soon that this wasn’t very good. Wouldn’t recommend anyone trying this. Lal Mirch Ka Paneer Tikka: Very very expensive. It literally had 5 pieces of paneer and tasted very average. And no, it neither looked as fancy as a fine dining item, nor tasted good. Romali Roti: Very good. Soft texture and really good taste. Bharwan Amritsari Kulcha: This was decent. Could have been a little softer, but overall decent. Kekshan: We requested to make this item spicy given that the previous items we received weren’t spicy at all. In turn, they made this “very” spicy :) Nevertheless, it tasted great. Would highly recommend. Shimla Mirch Ki Bhaji: Decent. Worth a try. Overpriced again. Litchi Ke Rabadi: Excellent dessert. Probably the best item I tried when I visited. I’ve had the buffet here (during one of my previous visits). Ale Carte was average. I would actually recommend trying the buffet here if you had to choose between buffet and Ale Carte.

Title: A Culinary Delight at Pakwan Chennai Restaurant Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant in Pakwan Chennai, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional culinary experience. Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance is a perfect blend of modern elegance and inviting warmth. The tasteful decor, soothing lighting, and comfortable seating create an atmosphere that's conducive to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Service: The service at the restaurant was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to accommodate special requests. Their genuine passion for providing an outstanding dining experience was evident in every interaction.Signature Dishes: While every dish I tried was exceptional, I must highlight a few signature dishes that left a lasting impression. The [Signature Dish Name] was a delightful fusion of flavors, and the [Another Signature Dish Name] showcased the chef's creativity and culinary expertise. Overall Experience: Dining at Pakwan Chennai's restaurant was an absolute delight. Recently visited Pakwan restaurant in T.nagar for lunch with family. The restaurant has a buffet which is a unique sit in buffet concept. Where it's more like a set menu and the food will be brought to the table. It worked out well as we had a few senior citizens in our group. The food spread and the taste was excellent. The low light of the whole experience was the food was served at a very fast pace. Before we could complete one course they already brought in the next. We felt hurried and could not really enjoy the food. To the extent where they served desserts with finger bowls. One statement from the manager the moment we entered was he asked us to vacate the place by 1:30 on dot as your slot is at 12 pm. Which we found was very rude. That's sufficient time and I believe all customers are aware of the slot system. The first thing u wish to hear is "welcome" not "vacate the place "🙂 It's a shame that I am not going to return or recommend this place. Although the food was very good.

We went to a family lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant staff were not willing to wait for all the members to come. This place is very close to my heart as it serves the best meal everytime I have been there. The speciality of this place is its buffet options which is pocket friendly and believe me no one can eat much, though the options provided are actually less when compared to other buffet restaurants. Of course the price goes along with the number of menu options. So it's very pocket friendly.

This place is a great example of how poor attitude can ruin a consumer experience. There's a very bad smell as you walk into the first floor. The smell continues as you walk through the doors. While the food is good, the staff have horrible attitudes. They spill food when they serve, they deliver more attitude than apologies. They don't understand what you say and miscommunicate frequently. Do check your bill. You've been cautioned. Please make an informed decision of going here.

Top restaurant for veg lovers. We went twice. Ordered a la cart once and next we went for buffet. The buffet was not as good though. Cream de fungi - mushroom soup was too good. The starter platter was also nice. The best dish was arrabiatta pasta. The tomato cream was really rich. Very pricey but worth the experience.

A good decent vegetarian restaurant tucked in a small street adjacent to GN Chetty Road, with valet parking. Food served is very good though the quantity seemed to be a little less compared to the price Charged. Service is very good and fast. But dessert section needs a lot of improvement. Table reservation is not done on weekends and it's first come first served basis. So there is heavy rush during this period.

Veg attack !😅 Thats an traditional style of making food. Fine Indian taste and Italian food goes top priority in the menu, followed by Salads 🥗, breads and different curries of veg ( panner butter, Mixed Veg, Dal ). Final serve of Ice Cream 🍦 with sweet and pastries make best and concluding part of menu. Honestly best restaurant for Vegie ✨.

Good food. But the service is not commendable. We went as a group of 12 (men, women & children) for a lunch buffet. Initially they serve well, they serve starters first. But once they see that they have served the starters once or twice, they won't even lend their ear even when you ask for some. They will not come back at all. Food is good, but they need to improve the service.

The Good parts were - courteous staff - excellent quality food.. right from starters to mains and desert. - good ambience - Value for money We were there early for lunch ( 12 noon) on a well day and by the time we left the restaurant was almost full. Overall very good experience and would recommend for anyone looking for blood for money north Indian good.

It is a must try for everyone who likes North Indian cuisines. Please try the buffet. My humble request to the management is, please let the customer know upfront on what all will be served. I was waiting clueless on items to arrive and still not sure whether I had been served every item.

Great options for vegetarian food which is quite rare in other places in recent times. Loved the food and the vibe. Service was good. Wish we were given a discount since we were a huge group.

Had buffet lunch today. Ambience is good. But here the observations : 1. Staffs literally throwing the utensils on the table while serving. They should have been educated about serving manners 2. You need to do thapasya for the waiter to turn around for both taking the orders and for them to bring in the ordered food. 3. Almost all the dishes that were served were pretty cold. We felt very unfortunate to have the cold food. 4. In between the buffet servings, it's very common that the plates get dried up before the waiter comes to your table. Food may be good in taste but all the above points have spoilt mood of enjoying the food. Very pathetic.

Food is okay. Soup & Vegetables which we ordered are okay, Hot. Sweets are not good. We ordered Rasmalai, I found it stale. As far as cleanliness is concerned I will give them 3.5 out of 5. Even though we were last to enter, surrounding was Not that shabby. So if enter early in hotel it would definitely will be clean. Overalll I am neither happy, neither disappointed.....

Positives: 1. Tasty Food 2. Buffet reasonable pricing 3. Parking Space decent Negatives: 1. Delay in servicing consumes much of a time because of which long queues. 2. Except for 1 of the waiter today (we appreciated him Truly), no one cared to smile and welcome the Customers.

Authentic food. More importantly food was not made spicy just for the heck of making it spicy. One of the tasty North Indian option for Chennai

Very good taste but had a lot of waiting time. At least 40 minutes we waited downstairs, not suitable for quick lunch or dinner. At table service also took time, we had to wait another 30 minutes.

Your go to choice for authentic North Indian dishes. You might want to book a table ahead during weekends. Services were on time, food was excellent and ambience was good

Good ambiance, tasty vegetarian food that is priced a bit high and backed up with some good service. The place can get crowded during dinner, so better to book ahead. Offers a variety of cuisines including North Indian, Italian, etc.

The taste is awesome. They can add few more dessert items and some varieties in pastries too. Paneer items are mouth watering but they take a long time if we ask for second serving I don't know whether they r doing it deliberately or they lack staff to serve. Overall the food is superb 👌👌

Food and Ambience are better in comparison to other vegetarian restaurants... Too much people are fitted in minimal space.... This needs to be considered as this is not just another middle class veg hotel. I say this is high class veg restaurant just because of the cost....

This is one of the places to eat in our list during this visit to Chennai after watching youtube reviews. Not disappointed with our choice. The food was excellent. The spinach sauce of the Dum Aloo kali Mirch was out of the world. The service was excellent. Will definitely visit again before returning.

Pure rich looking restaurant, service and taste top notch. Had buffeat price was reasonable for that. If you choose a la carte it will on high side but worth the taste.

The food here is so yummy and it's a great treat for your tummy. Taste is so sumptuous and dishes are known for its mouth watering taste. Special mention to chilli cheese naan as it is the best ever dish at this place and all the dishes are simply superb. The service is also quick and good.

The place is good..ambience is perfect. I we t on Sunday so I could choose only buffet ordered. They are reluctant to take a la carte option. Food was OK OK. Only thing I liked wax their Dal and jamun. Everything else is either salty or could be improved type. Spent 600rs for buffet and for the price the taste is average but had different variety

We had a fantastic time at this family-friendly restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our kids. The menu had a great selection of dishes that appealed to both children and adults. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. A perfect spot for a fun and enjoyable family meal."

Pakwan - the restaurant is a Celebration for all the dishes they offer as their name says . Each item on their Menu is worth trying. Ambience, Polite Service and delicious food truly makes a day to remember. We were surprised with the menu items in sweets, mocktails and icecream section ( they have a seperate menu card ) . North Indian cuisine was outstanding, yet to try their Buffett Lunch , Italian and Continental offering. Seating was at its best, they have separate Halls for Party and small gathering upto 15 persons.

Pakwan Chennai Hotel is a culinary delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with impeccable service and a warm ambiance. The menu offers a tantalizing array of dishes that cater to various tastes, expertly blending traditional flavors with modern twists. Each dish is a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. The staff's knowledge and passion for the cuisine truly shine through. Whether you're a local or a traveler, Pakwan Chennai is a must-visit for a gastronomic journey that will leave you craving more. A gem that encapsulates Chennai's rich culinary heritage with finesse.

First time seeing buffet is served by waiter.. in this way we can able to tasted all the items mentioned in menu (of course if you like the food item).. Moreover, there is no need to worry that food is being wasted... But we need patience as the waiting time is high.. if you visit restaurant earlier you might get seat faster.. If you are a larger group of more than 6 to 7 members, then plan to visit the restaurant earlier so that your wait time will be less... Food, taste, and hotel server courteous support in serving food are awesome... highly appreciated... Love to visit the restaurant again.. 👍👍❤️❤️❤️😍😍♥️♥️⚘️

Good place to dine with family and friends. It's a very good option for vegetarians. They have Jain food also. The ambience is great. The cost of food is tabb bit on the expensive side. Also if you wanna have a nice North Indian food with good ambience with your friends and family, it is one of the top options in Chennai.

😠 The food was good and the service was great. But I am giving a single star review because of an incident. I witnessed the person who was moping the floors stick his hand into the ingredients containers and eat the food. With the other hand he was still holding the mop which he was holding just a few...
