Our whole experience was very bad. At first the service was not that good. First and only We ordered a chicken and egg sandwich. I am also uploading the photo of that sandwich. When you go to a five star hotel, the presentation of the food should be very good, but looking at what we ordered, it does not look like this. Its taste was also very bad. Any chef who has made this, if he reads this review, then please learn atleast how to present a dish.

My visit to the Leather Bar at Hotel The Park Chennai past month, was unfortunately less than satisfactory. Despite the reputation of The Park as a prominent brand, the experience at the bar left much to be desired. Ambiance and Atmosphere: Entering the bar around 3 pm, I couldn't help but notice several aspects that dampened the overall atmosphere. The presence of mosquitoes inside the bar, coupled with a generally damp ambiance, created an uncomfortable setting. The indoor seating, despite being part of a reputed establishment, was notably uncomfortable. Brand Expectations vs. Reality: As a well-known brand, The Park sets high expectations. However, the Leather Bar failed to live up to these standards, especially considering the prices they charged. The discrepancy between the brand's reputation and the actual experience was glaring. Service: One of the disappointments of the visit was the service. Despite the bar being relatively empty, staff and waiters took an inexplicable amount of time to attend us. The lack of prompt service, even in the absence of a crowd, added to the overall dissatisfaction. Food and Drinks: The culinary offerings were mediocre at best. While the food was passable, it didn't justify the prices, as better options at half the cost could easily be found elsewhere. The drinks, too, left much to be desired, failing to meet the expected standard for a bar associated with a premium hotel. Conclusion: In conclusion, my experience at Leather Bar in Hotel The Park Chennai was below par. The presence of mosquitoes, uncomfortable ambiance, delayed service, and mediocre food and drinks detracted from what should have been an enjoyable visit. For those seeking a premium bar experience, it might be advisable to explore alternatives within the vicinity that offer better value for money.

We went on a Friday evening to this bar. They charged us entry fee of 4k for having no reservation. When we entered the bar 80% of the seats were empty and super loud music was being played to empty chairs which made it annoying to sit inside. We decided to sit outside to avoid the noise and ended up being a treat to mosquitoes and passive smoking. We kept shuttling between outside and inside space to make it tolerable. We had chosen this place for a special occasion and to catch up with loved ones but ended up with a flop experience. I hope they can focus on customer service and be clear on what this space should be. If it’s not a bar and it’s a night club then they should make it explicit. I would not recommend this any of my friends.

How on earth didn't we visit this place before? My husband lives part of the year in Chennai and I visit him on regular basis. We were looking for a nice place where to have drinks and food a came across the reviews about The Leather Bar. We agree on all positive reviews that are there. Superb drinks, good food (we had a starter then moved to one of hotel restaurant for complete dinner) a special mention to John the bartender, he has a brilliant career in front of him! We'll visit again!

It’s a very good place to hangout and nice food but they have hidden charges in the drink which they don’t reveal. They don’t mention in the online also , they will ask us to chekc but not order through that. They have only in the physical menu which they will not give it to us . Very bad customer service , it’s not about paying it’s about telling the customer upfront. Please BEWARE they are not true to the customers. Rick the bartender is good and the karaoke night with TROY is a killer , visit with awareness on the drink on Wednesday’s.

Great place to hangout and have a few drinks. It has great ambience and loud music, also outdoor sitting if you don’t like loud music and want to spend quality time with the loved ones 😉 It’s situated inside The Park Chennai hotel & entry is free.

The bar is located in the midst of the city which makes its location reachable by all convenient means. Servicing is not bad either. A hotel cum bar makes a perfect combo to rest around.

It's open from 11AM, but they open late, and even after the door is unlocked after 11.05 AM they still don't serve beer, the bartender lady told to me, bad attitude to reject beer. All other facilities food, stay, pool, drinks at The Park property is so good. anyway I had a beer at nearby hotel at the Kings Park grant, they were so good a very nice space, superb service, comparing to them the Leather Bar service is pathetic.

I wouldnt say this is a worst bar but worst manager ever. I have been coming to this venue for more than three years now and never faced any issues before but now the leather bar has promoted a bartender as manager which was a very bad decision that the park has made. He got no respect for customers who are coming such a rude behaviour with a lot of attitude. Is leatherbar running for the people or for employee? Please clear me this. On a recent saturday night 9.07.2022 he stopped me for no reason even im ready to pay for the entry. He refused to allow me and also he made the black security guy stopping me by touch my chest. Is this how it supposed to be ? Is it right to treat a customer like this ? On the same night he allowed 5 guys with the slippers where he didnt even asked any questions. I have source to get into the club but it made me feel embarrassed infront of everyone. Mr. Rajesh radhakrishnan ' GENERAL MANAGER OF THE PARK ' please take action on this guy. He is not fit for being a manager. Send him back where he is belong to.

The vibe of this place is amazing. Music is crazy if you are a techno fan but more than that the staff, it's so friendly, especially John. He patiently answered all my queries as it's my first visit in Chennai. It's definitely a must visit place.

Karthick was very nice , the music was nice , no wifi (not acceptable for such a place for (also) foreigners like us) , drinks and food a bit pricy… the nachos comes from a package and could have been homemade like in the great « The Spot » in Pondicherry where we had homemade ones with 4 different cheese / sauces / salsa . We hoped for a more crowded place on a Friday afternoon… only 6 people … but the staff was very nice. The DJ was great .

Dear Park team, I'm usually a Pasha lover, although have past experience with Leather Bar but this time on 15th Feb it was like Quite less crowded, Not like the usual day though. Ambience was quite ok but it was not that great since there was no crowd. Tried some new chicken salad, chicken and prawn cuisine it was tasty thanks to Service by Mr Ram. W.R.T DJ, it's only a kind of Music which made very similar track. I would say ok. That's it. Good to meet friends after long time. ??? Happy Weekend !!!

This bar looks nice. It was quite when went in. Music was good and overall ambience is alright. Esther was at the bar and was working efficiently to get ready for a busy day ahead. This bar was worst bar in Chennai, in restaurants 6O1 they serving pasta but their have no accompaniments. I asked stuff , I need pasta with broccoli, zucchini, red onion, bell pepper, black olive & Sun dried tomatoes. But in pasta itself nothing's they add. They charge more than 10000Rs for only two glass of whiskey. Many drinks on the menu is not available. I don’t recommend this place if u don’t want he deceived.

Worst ever customer service experience, particularly the service provided by Karthik. He was rude and callous and didn't even know or probably care about providing any customer service. Also being a bar, the music was so loud (and there was not even a single customer apart from me in the bar) and pathetic. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere for a business / professional crowd. I was reluctant to go inside the bar as it felt crowded and small...however it turned out to be a wonderful experience...they have good happy hour menu and number of drinks...the staff seems proffessional and experienced.Special mention to Mr John who was tending the bar...very passionate and dedicated towards his skills and customer service...my husband and i had a lovely time...will surely try to revisit!!thankyou😄 I got to know that this place is open till 4 am on weekends...thats Insane!!Happy for Chennaites.

We had an event at The Park in Chennai for work. After, we stopped by at Aqua and The Leather Bar for an after party. Really impressed with Atanu at the Leather bar. He offered us specialist cocktails and we really loved them! More power to you! Hope The Park recognizes the great work their bartenders are doing!

I’m on a trip for 2 weeks in India and have never met a bartender (Atanu) this humble and so dedicated to his work in all over the world. Super talented and so down to earth. You guys should better give him a raise and appreciate his hard work.

Great for late night hard music parties in Chennai, you will be charged around 3k to 5k. Parties go on yoll5 am may be even 6. Great bar tenders. Good crowd. Manager at door is very organised and keen on details and service.
