Food Safety authorities should inspect this place and seal it just like the Rosewater Restaurant of Anna Nagar. Sadly nobody reports to the Authorities due to the cumbersome Govt process. -Stale food, -Unhygienic, unclean environment, -Dirty and smelly handwash/restroom area, -No staff wearing a mask and boldly coughing and talking into the food -No safety protocols as if they are not bothered you live or die. Earlier known to be an expensive premium and clean Restaurant, now turns out to be a cheap, dirty, unhealthy Restaurant - still expensive. Pay high for food and pay for Medical bills, thank God we are alive.

We have visited this place for team lunch. The starters - Fish fingers, Tandoori Prawns. Squid tawa fry were nice. The Mutton Raan biriyani also nice. Good hotel in this area. You get 10% discount when you pay with cash and 5% discount with card payment.

Best prawn restaurants in Chennai are very limited and the problem with most of the restaurants is they don't clean very well or they used the prawn frozen for a long time. Some restaurants serve good prawns in the initial days but over time the taste and quality gradually fade, After trying out various hotel establishments for sea based dishes I found Savoury Sea Shell Restaurant in OMR to be the best ever. After more than 10 visits to the SEA SHELL restaurant I noticed the prawn served is fresh, the taste and quality are wow, the staff and owner are very friendly and the view from the restaurant is lovely.

We have tested chicken, mutton, prawn Biriyani and none is too good but we appreciate their effort to give tasty food to the customer. Falooda is not much effective too. The Food was good. A must try would be Roasted honu(honey) chicken red sauce Macaroni and panner kadai gravy. Chicken mint soup and chicken soup is not advisable. I have also attached the latest Menu. There isn't any discount as well.

A good place for big meals. I've been there for lunch with my friends. The items were so good. The ambiance is cool and lovely. The prices were normal. The staffs were customer friendly and even recommended few dishes based on our choice. I recommend this place for office meet-ups and get together. Make sure you reserve a table before an hour if it's going to be lunch or dinner.

Wait time is avg and gravy served dint have salt in it. Later when informed salt was added, and it was okay. Ambience is good. Service is also good but few dishes might vary in taste.

We've been here couple of times. We've tried Koji fish rice, prawn biryani, tandoori chicken, fried rice and shawarma plate. The prawn biryani, fried rice and tandoori was good. The Koji rice was different and really good but not everyone liked it. The shawarma plate wasn't good, nothing special and not worth the price.

Best grilled chicken in the city. Unique flavor ! Mutton raan was perfectly cooked. Crispy outside and gooey inside. Shake the bone and mutton will fall off. Falooda is an all time favorite. Roti and gravy was good too. Edit: it's 2022 and still the best grill chicken in this part of the city.

I though sea shell reastraunt would be great but when myself and my friend went there and ordered and ate 8 dishes.we came to know that the chicken, fish biriyani are not even worth for Rs50...then the fish wasn't cleaned properly that was awful ?....then we ate Al faham Dajaj(BBQ) was good but the way they served was not satisfying to us. And also they provided a beer root salad with one chilli and both were very old stock. And we also order some Chinese food that was good and the falooda was okay.
