Awesome hotel. Ambience is excellent.Food is Good. Staff is pretty cooperative. The waiters and staff is from North east. They are near you till you don't finish your food. They try to feed to last bit. Overall excellent experience. Locality is also good , Jeep Showroom is near by.

Taste is very Delicious , A real Madurai food to enjoy around Chennai. Good and polite service which we lack in many places, Restaurant is very spacious too.

On this busy holiday am searching for a restaurent in online delivery app...found this restaurant...ordered non veg meals,karandi omlet,mutton liver fry,chicken chukka... Received on time...food was hot...quantity was good..taste was as good as some restaurants mentioned just named as madurai...feel like eating in a local madurai restaurant...nostalgic....eager to visit and try all other items in the menu...will recommend to friends also...

Would applaud one of the best dining place in area, or even Chennai, especially when you're not so used to South Indian or local dishes. What you take inside mind, not in tummy, is awarded attitude and behaviour of owner or other serving guys... And that takes your heart. They would interact in Hindi, English and Tamil for describing dishes as per your mood and interest. Helped me out multiple times for finalizing the dish amongst confused options. Taste is classy and less spicy, as my request. The serving person (Kaleba) really details the way of eating on banana leaf with order of using various given servings alongside main dish.

As fo Feb 2020, this Hotel is closed a hotel named Sekar mess in the same place is functioning. The menu is new offering only Non-veg meals. Courteous staff and good ambiance and the price is also nominal. Veg the options are limited but there are better options for Non-vegetarians. The taste is good. Used to be average before but they have largely improved on the taste front. It is not much crowded, so the service is fast and you always get a place. Only that the stairs are too narrow and small. Do not forget to try the flavored goli soda

Chennai 96 -C96 is now closed and new sekar mess is opened..Food below par.. Previously when it was C96 ,u can get Rich Aroma of masala when you enter the hotel.Now nothing is there.After Biriyani you can get white rice with Rasam ,Now pay additional 50 Rs for that if you need.Biriyani was below par No smell and taste below normal. Chick 65 ordered ..But pieces were not selective only bones Not worth Now..??

The veg meals is very good and you can eat as much as you can. The service is good and ambience is pretty decent. The prices here are moderate and almost all payment methods are accepted like cards, UPI, paytm etc. Overall it's a decent pick for a nice satisfying lunch.
