Amelies - One of my all time favourite eatery in chennai ♥️ This place is magic and serves good quality food. They have American starters,continental main courses and lip-smacking desserts. My favourites are Mississippi mudpie,Hot chocolate,Pizza &Pasta. Ice creams are must try here ( My pick is Planet 🔥) .They have two scoops for 180rs deal which is super affordable at this prime location. Ambience reminds me of our college canteen ( It will be super noisy ). I do enjoy with bunch of friends. If you are coming for date - please avoid ! I do recommended Amelies as must try spots in Alwarpet.

We booked via zomato (got 30%of bill :) )for a Sunday afternoon and were pleased to get table at said time without delay. Valet parking was available. The ambience inside was really artistic and gave pleasing vibes . The had a wide variety of both veg and non veg dishes. We tried chicken tacos , threaded chicken for starters, was very yum , had watermelon mock tail, Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and an American mud pie . Apart from the watermelon drink all other dishes were bang on and tantalised our taste buds . Main course we tried pepperoni pizza , noodle pasta (forgot dish name 😅) and Asian chilli chicken burger . Of the lot burger was really good , amazing bun and patty . Most dishes came with a side of refreshing salad to cleanse the palate . The service was good as well Overall amazing place , would visit again✨

The place has a beautiful ambience and good food. The dessert is must have thing there. I ordered double cheat chicken burger, fries with dips, Tomato soup, carrot cake with ice-cream (personal recommendation), chocolate pastry double loaded(personal recommendation), veg loaded pizza, and jalapeno cheddar poppers (personal recommendation) The preparation was good service was good, seating spaces are comfortable and the ambience had a good vibe.

The place is happening. Food had no complaints. But I just have one issue I'm sure at least a couple of them can relate to this. Any food for that matter should be appetizing. The sandwich is so big and stuffed it makes it really difficult to get it to your mouth and I had to ask them to cut it into further pieces. Maybe they can come up with smaller portions (4 instead of 2). The pastries look and taste just fine. The service was great.

Bit costly. But taste wise very good. So many menu is there. You can experience the good vibes with excellent ambience. Must try for good food and ambience

Lovely place. Good Ambience. Loved the pizza and burger that we ordered. A meal for two could cost you anything between 1500-2000. The portions are sharable.

The vintage touch to this place really added to the warm vibe of the place. Staff can be a bit more friendly. The Manager was very kind . Food was authentic, definately you will not get the same taste elsewhere. Must visit. 💯

Loved the fries with three dips, the thin crust pizza localised with cottage cheese and makhni melted in the mouth, the penne with white sauce was thick and delicious and the crowning glory was the Belgian chocolate ice cream. The service was impeccable and the staff well groomed. The upholstery is fraying in some places and in general the interiors look tired. Maybe a touch up or a slight colour change will do the trick. Parking isn’t an issue. Every service crew member is a star. They serve to please the customer. And this is rare to see in Chennai.

A very pleasant restaurant with very good ambience. The food was pretty tasty and you could experience the flavours of the ingredients very distinctly. Slightly on the higher side but definitely some of the items are worth it. For veg soups they had only mushroom soup (Wild mushroom cappuccino). It's a very terrific soup and must try if you love mushrooms. Otherwise they should introduce other veg soup options. The sliders (Trio Sliders) very pretty okish. Just different colour buns with a roasted veg filling. Not worth the price. The veg lasagna was amazing as well as the guava juice with Tabasco. The hazelnut creme brulee was a bit too sweet to my liking.

Visited this place to have lunch with my friends. You could hangout with your loved ones without hesitation, the ambiance is very pleasant. The service is very good. Very tried few items from the menu and all of them were good.

This French themed café has got a plenty of amazing pastries and wide verity of ice creams. The ambience is the BEST. We tried Browne with cheese cake ice cream. the Browne was really good and the ice cream also great. Rate is reasonable and their customer service is also good. They have parking place also.

I dropped in here for lunch. I found the place to be overcrowded. Maybe it was a Sunday. Cosy place and too many voices at a time. Not a peaceful one i had. The interior design is pretty good. Service was quick. Ordered for Cheese Balls. It was average. Chicken Fingers- Very oily and the coating of the chicken was very thick. Not a good one. Veg Lasagne - It was a good meal. Very filling and tasty. Devil's Roast Chicken - comes with mashed potatoes and veg veggies tossed in butter. Too heavy and taste was okay. They have some dessert counters but I was too full to try any. The location is easily accessible. Parking space available. The place is ok for one time experience.

Used to be one of my favourite spots for ice cream, not too many flavours available right now though. Food is average though!

Prawns fritters was like prawns pakoda. Hot chocolate was thick, but taste was artificial. Didn't feel authentic choco drink. Tiramisu was decent but the service was quick. But the ambience was good. Small cozy place. Worth a visit i would say

Love the ambience and food. One of the best brownie I ever had and rum tiramisu are something I forgot the name it like heaven. Great place to hangout with friends. It's a must try place for all the foodies out there bit expensive but worth it. Also the ice flavor is amazing.

It was a lovely time at Amelies Cafe. The place was beautiful, neat and clean. The food was fabulous and price was reasonable! Worth the visit!

The ambience theme is so pretty - pista colored walls and the showpieces decorated on the wall look pretty. Food is also good. Courteous staff

Ambience was pleasant on a green theme but restrooms weren’t neat. Food was tasty no complaints on that. It was served with minimal waiting. Price was reasonable in par with other cafes. Definitely will try once again to try other dishes.

A very good and cozy cafe with a very neat and antique kinda atmosphere. The ice creams are way too good here. It's definitely a good place to spend some time here

A nice place with a great ambience and yummy food

I had chicken lasagna and tiramisu. The lasagna was good the cheese was good but something made it less tasty and for tiramisu not the best I would say . Good club sandwich and sliders . jackfruit ice cream was surprisingly tasty.

The ambience and the food was cosy. Great spot for a casual hangout with friends and family or go out on a date with cute souvenirs too! They have a good teacher if desserts and there's definitely one that's for you!

Please try their minestrone soup, pretty authentic. For Sorbe / yogurt dessert lovers like me, they have options, a break from ice creams. Cool interiors and courteous staff.

My all time favourite cafe in chennai! This place has a very cozy and warm vibe. The tacos, pastas, pizzas and burgers are so good!! Special mention to their ice cream flavours and cakes😋 Do not miss to try out their Newyork cheesecake ice cream and Swiss chocolate cake!❤️

We had our friends meeting at Amelie’s recently on a Saturday evening. We booked the place at a last moment so we have to wait for few minutes. Initially the place where we sat had an air conditioning issue. It lasted till end of our meal. Amelie’s has been my default hang spot since 2018. Cute ambiance. Perfect for date and friends meeting. Regarding their service, they have been serving wrong dishes twice. Customer service could be better. We ordered the following items Fries with three dips House special bbq chicken wing Crispy chicken Kusundi fish tikka The og Mach and cheese pasta Thin crust chicken pepperoni pizza Slider trio chicken Classic chicken burger Thin crust herb roasted chicken pizza Amelie’s loaded nachos Ferrero ice cream Cake Everything was so good except loaded nachos. It was soggy.

The interiors are so pretty. Food is quite nice. The butter garlic prawns is my favorite.

Pretty decent place in alwarpet. Usual Indianised continental food and drinks that do not hit the right chord always. The ambience is pretty neat. I don't think they have changed anything in the last decade. The food and drinks feel the same with no rediscovery or innovation. Although I have spotted a few YouTube and Instagram influencers here, I'm sure this place has the appetite to reach greater heights if they revamp their place and menu, as well as, improve on their customer service (more Tamil / English understanding staff)

Dined on a Thursday afternoon by myself here. The ambience is subtle and calming, well spaced out indoors. Ordered veg lasagne and cafe mocha. They asked me which one I prefer to have first,and I wanted them to bring the mocha first and then the lasagne. However it arrived exactly the other way 🙂 They took time to bring the cheque too at the end. Not sure if it happened to be a one-off incident for me, I'll give the benefit of doubt here. Anyway there's room for improvement in the service side in terms of speed as well as being receptive. Food in terms of taste,texture and presentation (nice cutlery!) was well done by the chef.

We had to wait super long after getting a table. Say easily 20 mins later to even take an order after repeated requests. The reason we order starters was to start the course of the meal, Jalapeno cheese balls came after our pizza was served. Starter was very good while the Paneer pizza was bland no salt or spice just overpowered by onions. Very reason we went there was to try their dessert but in the fear of wait time we left without having a dessert.

Nice ambience and no complaint about taste and presentation. They are facing some staff shortage that might take some time than usual to serve.

The restaurant looked beautiful. The service was good. The Thai green curry was unforgettably delicious. The veg trio slider (the mini burgers) were Absolutely Amazing; extremely delicious. The OG Mac and cheese was also good. A shared soup, two starters and two main courses cost ₹1800 so it's quite pricey, though. But overall , no complaints about the food and service.
