One of the best south Indian vegetarian restaurants. A great alternative to the classic Saravana bhavan and a2bs... I ordered a ghee roast that was completely crispy. The food was delicious and they give as much chutney as you need. That's how it must be (a2b please take notes ;)). Kudos to the restaurant for an amazing service

My favourite Sangeetha, for purely emotional reasons. Opened me to the world of onion rava dosas and absolutely love their chutneys and sambar. The pongal is quite amazing as well.

Tunnel shaped entrance,but inside spacious hall with table service.Hot idly vadakari pongal filter coffee pongal dosa variety are hit here. Good taste maintained, no delay service. Card or cash payment at counter. They have bottle drinks cool drinks,take away facility. Premises neat and clean. Upstairs service restroom there. Not a diisable, friendly entrance or parking, there. General parking also an issue here. Except this,one of the best restaurant in the mylapore area. Definitely recommended.

Good quality food as usual by the sangeetha restaurant chain. The food is tasty and is well priced. Ambience is great and waiters are polite. The only problem in this branch is the lack of parking and Mylapore being an extremely busy place, this is a problem. Other than this small issue this is a very decent restaurant .

We booked party catering from Sangeeta and it was awful, the food was not good, the service was terrible and all our guests ended up serving themselves. What should have been a Elai sappadu became a buffet. Unless you want terrible food, terrible service at high price- I don’t recommend catering from Sangeeta for party or home functions. We had several good memories eating at Sangeeta, but even dining in quality has gone down drastically these days. If you want to enjoy Sangeetha may be some other location or abroad..

One of the oldest veg restaurant of Chennai with many branches. Tasty and quality food, more veg varieties. Always crowded, but team is managing well with friendly service to customers. This is situated near Kapaleewarar tank, and busy area. Good option for family get together, friends treat. They too have small party halls for family functions

The restaurant was crowded on the day of new year JAN 1st 2022 at lunch time around noon. We had the lunch in the A/C hall and there was no one to take the order. After waiting for 20mins we ordered with the server, few items were not served that was part of the mini meals menu. They should have been better organised. The sambar rice and curd rice in the mini meals was watery. Quite a bad experience today.

Took north indian meal here. Vegetables are not cooked properly. All gravy items are looking similar and same taste. Butter nan also half cooked. Lassi quantity was hardly 3 spoonfuls. Its very costly for such quality.

Taste was so good, but the rice 80% cooked due to heavy crowd the rice like half cooked. We are seated in AC hall more 60 members can seat but only one disadvantage only one hand wash area, even the handwash area attached with Banquet hall so the members who are all coming for function and the person coming to restuarnt both need to wait for Hand wash Order the food wait for hand wash more than 15 min in that mean time the food will arrive.

I ordered food through Zomato. 4 iddly, 1 Pongal, 2 medhu vada, 1 sambar vada. I got a small plastic container of sambar, not even enough for 2 iddly. Always this Mylapore branch is a problem. Santhome branch is very good. But Zomato did not give option for Santhome branch. Worst experience, worst ever.

The service and food is excellent. Food is very tasty and it is served without much delay. The rate that is being charged for a full meal is also not exhorbitant. Had Lunch today afternoon after quite some time was a very good experience.

Not at all impressed. They didn't have any of the items we wanted from their menu. No poori. No medhu vadai. No special vadai. No tea! We just had to eat whatever they offered. Then why bother printing a menu card? Food was very ordinary. Coffee was weak.

I used to enjoy my eating experience at Sangeetha, and I've been eating since 2005, but it's totally changed now. Guess it's because they have become over confident and airs attitude. Food quality has gone down, so as their customer service and price rise. I understand inflation and other such aspects have contributed to the price rise, but the same must be countered by providing good food and customer service. It was quite a pity to note managers couldn't do proper table management!! It's high time, Sangeetha pulls up its socks and works towards improving.

Waste of money. They will not even give you extra sambar. The taste is very bad. Even I can cook better than their chef.

They changed their original vaththal kuzhambu and pachadi from the lunch menu. They provide andra style food which is not their signature. After 20 years we visited as a group. But did not enjoy the old taste. Food was good but sangeetha style lost.

I recently visited this branch after a long time. This place has transformed very well with great environment, hygienic service and lots of delicious veg food. I always prefer south Indian tiffin items and they are the best. Special thanks to the waiters and the branch manager Satish for great hospitality. Keep up the great work guys!!

Very good restaurant. Dishes are all with good taste and do not upset the stomach. Only thing us the side dishes served are a little bit more spicy, and if they reduce it will be better. Service is very good. All the waiters do very good service and some are exceptionally very good at service. Tables are very neatly wiped and no bad smell. The atmosphere is also good. The floors are also cleaned very often and looks good. Hygenic.

I went to a marriage function at mylapore kabaleeswarer temple, they arranged breakfast in this restaurant, they did'nt served because only few servers handled the whole crew. Worst service☹️ Waste of cost👎

Taste of breakfast is excellent. But, they use plastic bags despite ban, and do not give proper quantity of chutney or sambar. For example, if you order 1 dosa, 3 idlis (6 nos) & 1 pongal - you get 1 small cup of coconut chutney, 1 small cup of tomato chutney, and one packet sambar. What nonsense!

Located at South Mada Street corner near Kapaleeswarar Temple. Superb taste with lot of varieties in breakfast items and in lunch items. Ample space for dine-in. Party Hall AC as well as Non AC available in upstairs.

Recently we have attended an engagement function here in one of the halls provided by the restaurant. The room provided for changing clothes was a very very small electric room where stabilisers are placed and the only window did not have curtain. The food was less than ordinary. A road side mess would have been better. Food was not served as per the agreed menu. Whatever left over items the restaurant had they served in the lunch. No supervisor while the food was served and the people who served were serving as if they were serving for free. No parking. You have to search, search for spaces on the road. Not at all worth conducting for functions. Not Worth for money.

It's a bit hard to understand how it works and they speak poor English so it took me a while. Basically you have a super cheap sambar rice for which you need to buy a token in advance and when the server comes to the table you give him this token. For one euro the food is good and of great quantity. When you finish the sambar you can ask for more and they keep on bringing it
