Looks very small from outside but enough space inside. Parking will be an issue. Food is good. Pepper chicken is must try item. Waiting time is around 15 minutes. Service could have been better.

Super restaurant I like the hotel interior and food too, I order mutton biryani, mutton soup, mutton chopps, jigardanda, watermelon juice and South special moore... Biryani taste was awesome and soup is so spicy and tasty.

Gave this single star to write the review. I use to go talapakatti for good taste and for best beriyani. But now it totally changed, if you order beriyani they serves kushka. So be aware of that cheating happens especially in thalapakatti, and the service part is very awful, where ever the Tamil based hotel gets not tamil people as a service provider or handling the management ite will become fraudulent. So people kindly do hesitate Thalapakatti restaurants if you feel the above mentioned atmosphere and environment. Just leave the shop and go anywhere else nearby. Even a small scale beriyani shop also gives good food and good services

Fish fingers, murug fry chicken were really good. Baby corn Manchurian was too spicy. Could have kept the place little more clean. We saw couple of cockroaches.

This restaurant runs only with its brand name. Quality, quantity and the taste is not matching its price point. I ordered wheat parota, it got delivered after 15 minutes but it was not fully cooked. Although I mentioned this to the waiter to inform the cook in the kitchen who prepared this parota, he was least bothered to take this as a complaint. Price of the food is very high compared to its taste and quantity. I also ordered chicken gravy and Garlic Naan, they were also of average taste. I recommend not to take food here. There are much better options available nearby.

Food quantity is less comparative to other branches. Service is poor. If you are influenced person or political person then you will be treated best. Your order will be delivered in high priority. Hand wash area bit sticky smells. Avoid sitting near hand wash enterance. Seating arrangement are very narrow. Not good presentation, you have to request for spoons / water /sauce on every dish.

Recently visited Dindigul Thalappakatti for the lunch. The ambience was simple and good with centralized AC. The service is also good, but can be better while explaining the dishes and taking the order. Though an extra plate of dish was mistakenly added to our order, they corrected it and took it away. As usual, like every DT restaurant, the price was on the higher side and the food was tasty and had a great variety of non-veg dishes. It might not be an ideal spot for budget meals.😵‍💫 Parking is an issue here, as we have to manage the parking in the busy roadside, which is very close to the famous retail Legend Saravana Store. 🚗 ⚠️ All in all, it was an average experience, but worth it for the good biriyani.👍 📝Note to the managment: Customers should decide how to rate you based on your food and service. It is not right to pressure them for five-star ratings in Google Reviews, especially after they pay (If you really want to improve your ratings in that way, you can give free coke to those who give 5 star ratings 🤭😂).

Cockroach 🪳served along with biryan in Chromepet branch, very disappointed about the hygiene as they charge you so much. Had dinner along with my pregnant wife,The manager said that it has never happened before and this was the first time, something like this should never happen. You can't poison a food once because it has never happened before. Extremely disappointed with the food safety procedures followed by Thalappakatti. Will be reporting this to the food safety officers as well as consumer court.

I have placed take away order under Token no.158 on 20.06.2022. In which Butter chicken masala is not cooked properly and raw tomato taste is there. My grand kids haven't touched it. So, it was thrown away into the dust pin. Rs.289/- wasted. Try to avoid such things in future. Sorry, I haven't expected it from a south based branded hotel.

When we were inside the restaurant we didn't know about the brand value, then we talked with our friends, they told that it's an authentic and best shop to have biryani. We had Chicken Kottu Porotha thay day but we will definitely try the biryani the next time. Their ambience and taste was just awesome 😃. Do visit guys, maja aah jayega🔥😉

Bad service and overpriced food! Had to wait for more than an hour near the fly infested table.The quantity of 300/- butter chicken was same as brinjal gravy we get for free along with biriyani. 1 or 2 pieces of chicken shredded and added to a very thin gravy. Starter delivered like dessert by the end of food. Overall the worst experience in recent times.

Really I had very wrost experience at March 24... Service was really wrost they came very late to take order and then food taste is really wrost I have tried thalapakatti in UAE , madurai and few other branches in chennai .. quality was so good but here chicken was so hard and service is really bad .. I asked just ice cube for my masala cola (while started to eat) to one person he said other person and then I finished eating after 30 mins still ice cube didn't came in middle I reminded them he asked till u didn't get it and told to wait still I didn't get after I asked who took order for me for cubes and he took my masala cola and brought cubes .. after sometime the person came who I asked cube for two times and said sorry no ice cubes and I said I got it .. and billing time was very wrost they gave bill I said gpay they brought scanner and I paid and who gave bill was not in upstair where we ate ... I waited sometime then I showed it to other person who took order and left the place .. bill was 1024 I paid 1100 including tip for no reason .. I got call regarding bill send screenshot (little offended while he asked after screenshot he asked sorry so it's okay) and all its all okay but pls improve quality ... PS (sorry for poor language) I hope they understand and change it

No words for the amazing taste. But as my last review this branch should consider having a take aways counter as last time the counter was flooding with the Swiggy and Zomato. General peeps stood long till the swiggy and zomato order cleared. There are lots of fan for Dindigul thalappakatti food. If you are dining in its fine. BUT when it comes to take away. I see staffs are struggling to manage. They must consider adding more counter to handle food delivery agents and regular visitors efficiently. Taste is awesome. No worries for foodies. Surely They'll will enjoy. Ita better to visit early prior to the dine in with family and friend because this.. i feel this restaurant will fill up seats quickly

Special mutton briyani (boneless) was pretty good, it was served with mutton gravy and onion raita. Chicken briyani was also good but mutton beats all. The briyani was made from small variety of rice grain instead of the basmati rice. Each grain of briyani had this unique flavor.

Chrompet Thalapakatti servers ( waiters) are all LAZY persons . It's better you can buy parcel. These persons will not even CLEAN the table nor will bring the biriyani hot . You have to ask twice to make them clean the table and bring the biriyani hot

Would like to raise a complaint / concern about Mr.Madhavan, Chrompet branch. Very rude and Improper behaviour to the customers. Such a worst way to greet / respond customers request. I have bad experience.. Like the items I asked is not available.. Why this point mentioned because after multiple times visit.. Every time I faced same experience... When we ask for the availability of the desired recipes they will say yes only initially.. But while ordering it will not be available.. They will say.. Just now only over..

Food quality is amazing pa.. Good place to eat both veg and non veg. But if 2 persons goes to eat there they will not let you to sit anywhere mostly they will prefer downstairs.. Waiter behave like this cheap.. I went with my wife by afternoon . We both noticed there are lots of places in 1st floor. We went and sat there but stupid waiter came and said please go downstairs. They say they will be allowing max 4 persons over there... but even after we sat down and completed our lunch , still the floor was empty.. Lazy waiters.... and stupid policies.... It's a hotel for everyone right.... don't like this kind of attitude in this branded shop.. I am giving 2 stars for that kinda atmosphere... Other than that...good.

Definitely not worth the price. Had heard good things about this preparation but the quantity was very little. The signature Thalappakkatti biryani had one small piece of chicken for ₹249. The chicken 65 biryani was slightly better with enough pieces but still had lesser quantity than your average biryani

Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Food is tasty. We 2 persons had briyani and fried chicken. Chicken was little more spicy. No meals available. Over all good place to dine in.

Dinner in at almost 10 pm . When we went briyani was completed. [Could be a circumstantial state] Recommended to go priorly if briyani is your choice . Dosa opinion tend to end by 9. You can still check with the waiter there. We had wheat and Ceylon parotta. Both were equally good . Mutto nenjelumbu soup is a must try.

Need to maintain the environment some stinky smell near wash room area. Food and service is always great in chrompet outlet they don't disappoint. Biriyani is well cooked.

This one just holds the name and not the taste or worth anymore. Yeah, you can charge ₹ 1,000 for 2 people(!) but give the price-level-taste in food also, at least. Small scale alternative restaurants are way better than Thalappakatti.

Food is good but the quantity that’s served for the price is horrible. It was more of just rice with 1 small piece of chicken for a Bone in Thalappakatti Biriyani priced over 250. But the 65 Biriyani is worth trying. Does justice for the price.

This Thalappakatti branch is really good compared to many others found in city limit . The Ambience was pretty good and also the service . I have tasted about 7-8 branches of Thalappakatti in Chennai and I felt this was one of the good branch when it comes to the taste of the biriyani . I also had Fish Fingers and Crispy prawns that was not the best . Before I had the same dishes in Besant nagar branch , that one was really delicious . The Food was served to us really fast. If you're shopping in Chrompet or if you're passing by the place , and if you have your wallet filled you can definitely have some good food in this place .
