I have visited this place more than twice and tried different items all the time. To my surprise, the taste is always the best. The quality of food and quantity both are on point. You won't be ever disappointed if you make plan to come here for lunch or dinner. But, you might have to wait in queue because it's very busy and crowded always. Coming to food, the food is just amazing. Different starters, platter, combos, sizzlers, chinese, veg and non-veg both options are available. The staff is also good.

We’ve tried various items on the menu during multiple visits and all of them taste good except the sizzling brownie which is definitely not worth the price. Everything else is amazing. Especially love the fish-shaped plate they serve the BBQ Fish in! Oh and their Cream of Chicken soup is a MUST TRY!! 🤤 If you’re looking for flawless authentic arabian food, this is the place! Service can be improved though.

Taste is good, Serving is good,located in prime spot. Pricing is bit high when compared with other zaitoon branches. Serving is delayed otherwise all good that is why 4 stars. The person who took the order gave suggestions on what to order to save food and money which is really impressive. we felt Seafood prices are too high. Kindly consider and reduce it otherwise each and every menu items are worth for the money delicious in taste.

I had a birthday function at this venue and were able to host it very well. Thanks to Jijo and his team for making it easy. Menu was within the budget. Everyone enjoyed the food and ambience. Valet parking was available for guests.

The ambiance was amazing. The food tasted so good. The chicken briyani was very light and had minimal spices, kids loved it. Honey chilli potatoes and dragon chicken are the best. Veg manchow soup was quite different from other restaurants, they used green chilli instead of red chilli. The Kunafa was served very hot and fresh.

Service was very good. Waiting was quite large to accommodate more than 20 people. Valet parking is also available. Shared my pics that we had. Overall was a good time to spend for a lunch 👍

The only reason why I’m rating it 4 star is because of the person taking the order at our table. It was an amazing experience dining in at the place. Ambiance and food was awesome. We had to keep asking for hot water since everyone was suffering from cold. Ordered soup, it was bland but good after adding the necessary ingredients provided, like vinegar chilli, chill and soy sauce! Lollipops of two kinds we ordered. People loved the “drums of heaven” I suppose. Ordered mutton and fish Biriyani! Both were great. So was the mixed fried rice. We ordered butter and pudhina naan which we asked to be served with mutton rogan gosh. Arabian falooda and special falooda could have been better. Went to Zaitoon recently [despite not being a frequent visitor] and could tell the consistency of their food quality & quantity are excellent for the price they provided. I never regretted ordering a single dish. Despite being on a busy main road, the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The thoughtful idea of having a waiting lounge for people to get to their dine-in area, which is so comfortable, shows that not only the customers who have dined in, as well as the waiting customers, are important. And the staff is very friendly and gentle, and they ensure that the process runs smoothly. I believe that a restaurant's success is determined not only by its food, but also by customer satisfaction from beginning to end. Kudos! 💫

The ambience is great. Perfect for a group dinner. Service is fine, little late in busy hours. The kebabs are great and they are must try. However, the sizzlers were a bit off. The veg options are also pretty good। Price is on little higher side. It's a huge building just across the grand mall, so easy to find and full of grandeur in the atmosphere.

A very nice restaurant the ambience is good. If you are a non vegitarian it's the best place to go and eat with a bunch of friends. In case if you are a vegan it's not the right place you don't have much varieties and the serving time for vegan foods are slow compared to non vegan ones. In the end liked it ☺️

Zaitoon a good good place to hangout with friends and family a decent restaurant with good quality food served with little higher price food. As you know each amd every Zaitoon outlets in chennai tatses the same.nothing to comolaint about. Their ambience will be good but crowded everytime in weekends. Only con is their price is little higher. Other than that all the dishes will be good akd portions are also decent. One of their must try dish is the arabian rice(yellow in color forget its name and lazy to browse over its menu). The kebab whihc we ordered was juicy and flavpurful. And the roties which we ordered are also goof. Zaitoon is well known for its cheese naan. Can visit without a second thought.

Food is nice. Nice ambiance. Especially the staffs are excellent. They went a extra mile to make my daughter birthday special with good idea. They didn't have bday cake but brought a small hot chocolate brownie and made like cake with chocolate cream they wrote the name. Thankx guys.👍👑

One of the best options for arabian and indian food item in and around velachery. Had a good experience from here. More than food I enjoyed the ambiance and service they provided. Friendly chat with Mahindra and better explanation for foods from another person I think he is manager, was really one of the unique features of zaitoon.

I visited with my brother for my birthday! It was good. The experience was very nice. I am kinda awkward at restaurants like these. But... Yea. I had some sizzler. It was my first time having it. And Baklava. I have always wanted to try Baklava. It was so good I bought one for my mum. And the ambience felt so quite and lavish. The service and hospitality is good too. They explain about the dish if you don't know what was there on the menu. Yea.. it's good to ask if you don't know instead of skipping and missing a good food experience. Hope you guys visit it. They mainly focus on Arabian cuisine.

Nominally priced for the quality and quantity. 3 course meal for 2 , plus a takeaway order for 2 shawarmas cost me under 1300. Good ambience and lighting. No loud music. Pleasant staff who are courteous and helpful.

A very good restaurant to try middle eastern food. All the dishes we ordered were awesome. The highlight was the tandoori chicken boneless which had four pieces. The service is very good but we had to call them every time to serve the dish. It’s definitely on the expensive end so cannot visit frequently.

Food was okay!! It’s been 4 years since we visited here once we were in Chennai. As we wanted to have the old taste of food, we dined for dinner, it was packed fully.. we have ordered, Chicken clear soup Sweet sour veg soup Veg cheese balls Pan grilled corn with veggies Kizhi parotta chicken Egg masala Veg fried rice The soups, fried rice were good! Others I would rate ok - cheese balls, grilled corn with veggies and egg masala But never go for kizhi parotta, may it was not there day for it!! It was sweet and didn’t feel like we were having chicken korma, it was like tomato korma with added sweetness. Other service was okay!

Very good food and service..zaitoon is always known for it's Arabian cuisine.. we swiggy it every week.. In this visit, our favourite was their service..there was huge queue and and a lot of movement.. The whole team (starting from the two people at front desk, person who allocates table, person who takes order and person who serves the food) was calm, smiling, well behaved genuinely strives for excellent service..didn't show any frustration even though the crowd was unmanageable.. And well supported by the kitchen team, no delay in order.. Appreciate the team's attitude and preparedness..all the best..

What to review????? Worst service and untolerable customer experience. They are indeed of collecting money from the customers only rather satisfying us. What ever we complain about the quality of the food the only reply from the managers of the restaurant are "We can't do anything for that". The thing is we have lots of places where we feel too comfort. Buffet price is 750-/ for both veg and non veg. Waste of time and money. Better avoid going here.

I was disappointed to feel first piece of dragon prawn item served is felt with sand. You may zoom the picture to see better. Infact Chicken tikka roll(Paratha) too had the same, but it's too late to find and chewing done to swallow as it's already half done. Here comes good part, captain comes in and willing to replace we said we don't want. Worst one is when he (captain)showed to chef, he (chef) could not find any sand particles.If any one see the picture can find but chef!!. Wondering how he will manage quality and feedback.Also captain has no sorry or any sort of ownership and he showed such an attitude which is absolutely ridiculous. Summary, if possible please sit in a seat having good light(before you feel(in the mouth), you can see(in your eyes))check before you eat or let children eat. Ofcourse Zaitoon is renowned name, you need to be careful as I don't see them changing. Take care.

I recommend reserving a table. We went on a Saturday and had to wait for an hour and a half to be seated. The food was good and good value for money. The quantities were good as well. We ended up packing two full dishes because it turned out to the too much. Keep that in mind, especially when ordering the platter. The pista kunafa was amazing and we ended up ordering seconds for sharing.

Ambience is pretty good, Booking system where you have to wait until you get a table. We came by 2.00 Sunday(Rush hour), we ordered chicken crispy & chinese which was good but the sauce they gave was not Schezwan sauce, it was ordinary tamato ketchup which spoiled the whole mood of eating chinese, then we had biryani which was also not upto the mark, it was dry and tasted like microwave-heated biryani, the only dish we enjoyed was the sizzling brownie, without doubt it was Magnificent and tasty, a must try dessert, we were 5 people and the bill for a belly full meal was round 1800₹

Zaitoon is a good Arabian Restaurant in chennai. But, don't prefer the velachery Branch!!! Looks like good ambience, but poor service and power goes off frequently. No proper generator. Go for Non Veg!! Veg is not preferable. Go for the Zaitoon Spl Non Veg soup (chinese flavoured)!! Go for Kozi Rice (any)!! Go for Barbecue!! Go for Falooda (Zaitoon Spl Falooda)!!

Visited this restaurant today.This place had quite cozy feel.There's wide range of authentic Arabian food as well as indian foods as well and they are quite reasonable rate. I would recommend this restaurant for those who want to try out new cuisine's.

We tried a new dish here this time...- Dynamite chicken. It was a bit tangy and colourful as you see, and different. It reminds me of the creamy chicken Burger fillings.... and the nalli soup was so good. For me it was super. And also the creamy mushroom soup. And the main dish BBQ briyani was okay, I could not get any flavours except chillies. But its fine with the thalsa and raita and egg and the bbq chicken. Just for fun sake we dipped the egg yolk into the nalli soup and it was good too😅. And also add it with the briyani rice, which was also a nice try for us 😂, yet its good (we liked it) not sure how it suits for others😂😂😂...

Good quality food offering restaurant in Velachery surrounding. Usually congested in all weekend and festival times,need to wait in to into dining. Quite expensive when compared to similar type of restaurants. Felt like Took more time to prepare and serve food.

We have visited this restaurant on Friday afternoon around 1.30 pm and it was so crowded. But the receptionist had arranged seat within 20 mins. Ambience is really good. There a lots of non veg variety starters .Quantity and quality of the food was really good. Must try dessert item is Spanish delight.

We ordered the seafood platter. It had a variety of fish, shrimp, crab and squid Madden with fries and some rice and bread. All the items are heavily spicy. If you aren't into salty spicy seafood options,you may not like it much.
