One of the best punjabi restaurants in kandanchavadi - We used to visit here for lunch or dinner and I must say they offered great food. There afghan chicken is one the best - very creamy and cooked so well. Prices are good. Ambiance is also very good.

Verdict : Atmosphere : They gave their best to give a funky Punjabi theme with rickshaws, statues and charpai(Camp cot). Food: We tried dahi kebab, amritsari naan, paneer kadai masala, and mooli roti. Taste: due to the addition of too much sweetness, the state was bit off the league for amritsari naan but paneer kadai saved it by balancing the spiciness. In a simple way to put. It wasn't authentic. Price: slightly bit expensive.

Amazing North Indian food. Very suited for a group of friends or a family of upto 6-8 people. The staff is friendly and offers good service. The food is too good, must try- cheese naan, mutton rogan josh, and malai chicken. They have variety of naans, kulchas and North indian based currys. For desert, rabdi lassi should be go to choice

This is not a dhaba. The people who run this place have to understand what people expect when the name has "dhaba". Just an ordinary restaurant. I expected free onions and green chutney like we get in any other punjabi dhaba. Ambience was too good. And by the way, the menu card has changed a lot. The one you see in dine out and zomato is outdated. Food was average. It was either tooooo spicy or had no taste at all. There is nothing in between. If you have no other choice, you can try this hotel. Looking for a good time with family, better avoid this place. Vegetarian food is pretty bland.

The food tasted good but was too costly for the quantity they served. The ambience was good and you can come with friends. The authentic punjabi taste wasnt present though but still a good treat of North food here.

Starters - Masala Pappad for the prep time. Sheek Kebab came quite quickly - was decent. 1/2 Tandoori chicken was spicy & 1/2 Afghani Chicken was a bit too sweet for my taste. For the main meal we had Aloo & Goni paratha & a butter naan to go with sarasson ka saag & Dal Makhani. Sarasson ka swag was exquisite, the breads were good. Dal makhani was CCC average Must mention was the masala chaaz @ 99/- Service was pleasant n efficient Good meal for two for 1650/-

Amazing with the interiors. Food was amazing but not authentic Punjabi . But the the food was nice especially the way the chicken was cooked was amazing. Buttermilk (chaach) was my favourite , should try.

It's lip smacking north indian restaurant food was really good, as I am North Indian so tried only north dishes. Ordered Butter Naan, Tandoori roti, Garlic Naan with 1. Punjabi kukkad Masala and 2. Veg Banjara all was good to fill our cravings for dinner. But quantity was little less but it's can be compromise because we are getting that good taste with affordable price. Food was straight up AMAZING! From soups to desserts it was a really good experience. I would say the price is a little high, the taste was worth it. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian were good. The place also has a really good ambience and good service. I have visited this place a few times and I would definitely visit again!

All the paneer gravy varieties had a unique taste. So different dishes can be tried each time you visit. They offer half as well as full quantity for several dishes. Ghee phulka size is very small. Prices are on the average side. Experience on a weekend: they had a difficult time serving in a fully crowded restaurant. Had visited with a group of friends (7). They appeared to be very confused about which dish to be served on which table. Served veg soup instead of chicken soup. Served mushroom starter which we hadn't order at all. They probably need to improve on this issue.

When we are meeting a friend after long and we get a warm place to eat talk and enjoy, this place just ticks all the requirements of food ambience taste quality quick service and a very warm host Divya.I had a dinner here with my friend and loved this Punjabi food in Chennai. My favourite was the tandoori prawn, Reshmi chicken kabab and pot kulfi, we also tried their paneer tikka and it was delicious. Definitely recommended for family and friend outings if you are looking for North Indian 👍

Had a very bad experience.they said 2000 notes are not accepted. But I had only that . I'm requesting I'm not having further money but he declined and asking check news in your phone. When I asked why it was not mentioned anywhere his reply was rude asking why I didn't asked him before.franly I didn't 2000 notes are accepted but would have better mentioned anywhere.

Food is good. But be careful of what you receive you might receive cockroach cola instead of Jaljeera cola. If you confront the staff they will say that the cockroach magically teleported from beneath the table to your coke. Why run a restaurant if you couldn't maintain quality? The staff who is preparing is careless. If you receive a cockroach in a dish it's alright they might have not noticed it. I mean a cockroach in a Jaljeera coke it's really unacceptable. It shows the restaurant's poor standard and lethargicness of the staffs.

Both veg and non veg items are very well prepared. Breads (Naan, kulcha, Paratha) are properly cooked and stuffed. Quality is good. Rice (jeera rice was a little oily but the taste was very good) Biriyani (chicken is very well cooked with dry rice) Prawn masala (fresh prawns and thick flavourful gravy which can be consumed with both rice or bread). Must try: Chicken Tandoori (very juicy, flavourful and well cooked chicken and the green chutney is also superb). Slightly sad with the butter chicken (only 3 pieces) and Afghani fish tikka (not very flavourful). The overall taste is very good. Wait time is also less. The price is around 400 to 600 per person depending on how you eat.

The food is pathetic. I’ve had a very bad experience here. The butter chicken tasted too sweet and it’s absolutely pathetic and the naan is more like a maida roti and tastes absolutely worst. I’ve had the worst butter chicken from this place.

The Dhaba had a great ambiance with it's vibrant colors and cozy seating arrangements which added to the overall appeal. The staff was courteous and friendly. The flavours too, were authentic. It's definitely a must visit!

Good place to go for punjabi food. Traditional punjabi dishes are tasty and spicy. Good ambience, decorated with uniqe furniture and decors. Could sense some judgement from the manager when we didn't order starters, apart from that it was a good experience.

Definitely a green on places to not miss. Had chicken65 dum Biryani it was really good. Enjoyed the Ambience and the customer service.

Amazing food (North indian and Punjabi Dishes). The food is too good must try Fish fingers, Tandoori, Fish tikka, Prawn Biriayni and Cheese naan and lot of Punjabi dishes. Good place to go with team lunch and friends. Must try mutka kulfi. Lovely Ambience as well.

Service time need to be improved. Food taste and quality is good. Particularly executive lunch thali is verymuch suitable for short time turn around during office lunch breaks. Other times, can spend comfortable time with friends/families.

Not a big one, but comfortable. There was no parking available at the restaurant and has to park on the street. The food was tasty, but some dishes are cold when served. Kids enjoyed it with the drums and stationed auto. The decorations were nice.

Qunatity and taste was well sufficient. Especially Kashmiri Naan and Punjabi sweet are the two must try option

Taste was average. They are selling water bottles at ₹10 more than mrp and when we pointed out that legally they shouldn't be selling packaged products at a price more than mrp, the manager was rude enough to say that's how they sell it here and if I had a problem, I shouldn't have bought it. He even added- he isn't running this restaurant for charity and what will he profit if he sold the bottle at mrp. Since that person didn't even was trying to understand, I just paid and left but this is fraud and the rudeness of the staff is not at all acceptable.

Tried vegetarian options here turned out great. Tried harabara kabab, cheeseballs, baby corn delight, kaju paneer, punjabi paneer, dal makhani, roti basket, mojitos snd lassi. All were perfect. Expected dal makhani to be black- brown but it was yellow red but taste is okay but not authentic.

The place have a limited number of sitting arrangements but a good ambiance. Taste of the food is good but they need to stay bit careful for tandoor items as during the rush hours it may remain slightly undercooked from inside.

Must visit place for North Indian food (Veg and nonveg both) in Chennai.

The place is very good. But this was the last place I visited before I got COVID. Can't complain the restaurant though. We took out Italian clients to this place and they loved the entire setup and the food. The taste of the food is >90% to what you actually get in Punjab. Being in Chennai, it can definitely be called as an authentic Punjabi restaurant.

We ordered veg. Biryani.. But they served biryani with chicken pieces.. Yuck.. Pathetic service..

Neat ambience, food is also good... Loved the way they recreated the Dhaba style... Price is little expensive when compared with nearby restaurants... Very calm and good customer service... Tried fried rice, tandoori chicken and chicken manchow soup...all good... Barbecues and grill are not available... Recommend this place to feel dhaba experience!

Stale food delivered two times in a row. Upon complaining, not even acknowledging the issue. Please stay away if you care about the health of yours or whoever may eat their food .
