I enjoyed my dining experience with my family. The food was tasty and the service was fast and efficient by the crew. This is the first time I'm seeing the smallest gulab Jamun. Boneless mutton biriyani was awesome.

Everything served hot. It costs 600 to 700 per head average. Briyani are cooked in jeera rice. It's good. You could try South Indian strater.

It's really good but pretty expensive for two. Just for starter and biryani without any drinks was about 1000rs. But it's tasty

I visited 5 times in 3 days as I don't have the option to go to another one. They bring the order too late even though the store was empty. You need to wait for more than 30 for every Order. The food was tasty but completely business mind. I asked small cup in which they served biryani soup, that much quantity of rice for my Kid but they said They won't. For that, I need to order complete full Biryani. 🧐😳😵‍💫😵 The cup size which I asked for will not be more than 70ml to fit. I don't have the option to give a -20 rating.

They serves Donne biryani. Restaurant theme is good. And serves food on banana leaves. Must try chicken and goat Donne biryani they really Taste good. Parking was little bit problem. Spicy and tasty biryani.

Had chicken biryani there. Different varieties of chicken items and mutton items are available there. Biryani have a different aroma that enlights ghee. And in service was it was good though.

The biriyani taste has a traditional authentic flavour i have tried THALAPPAKATTI CHICKEN BHIRIYANI was very much yummy .Also the head waiters was well behaved and neat..Really recommend to try at once while in chennai..

Very very Small portion, high price. Nothing can justify the exorbitant price. The taste was Very average. I wouldn't try it again. 3 piece of mutton in the size of a rupee coin is not what we expect in a biriyani. The portion size is adequate if it was kids menu. I have no idea why it's legendary. Such a letdown. Please don't waste your money and time Not recommended

Good to try once. Not affordable to try frequently since the quantity of food is less. Taste is different and a spicy touch. Many might not appreciate it. Hotel looks to be clean and well maintained.

Mutton biriyani was good. Since I’ve had it so many times, it does not entice me any more. It is low on spices and you can feel a subtle ghee flavour. But they have removed egg from mutton biriyani. Earlier they used to provide egg with all the biriyanis. Cost cutting due to inflation? Fish fingers were mediocre. They could have been crispier. Jigarthanda was okay. Over all, if you have not tried it, try once.

The service was atrocious. Plates were thrown to us. The leaf on the plates looked and smelt as if they were used earlier by other customers and subsequently washed, even though the management denied it and agreed to replace the same. Further, after ordering a dessert as shown in the menu, we were told at the time of payment that the same was not available and instead a different variety of the same kind was given with less than half the quantity specified in the menu card. We realised the price for two of the kind given to us was equal to 6 of what we had ordered. However, we were not informed of the same and the manager blatantly refused to accept his responsibility of informing us about the same at the time of taking the order. On the whole, the service was below the standards such a restaurant ought to have maintained. I'd never suggest anybody to visit this branch. On the contrary, I'd ask them to stay away.

Loved the mutton dishes here. Thalapakatti Mutton Biryani with Mutton Sukka is a killer combination.

I would recommend Non-Tamilians(Mainly Telugu People) to not Visit this hotel, The Biryani here would be very famous for local people and I respect their choice, but for non-tamilians it would look like they have just wasted their money for something they wouldn't have imagined of. The food here is too costly and the quantity is very very less.

Food: I tried the Special Thalapakatti Mutton Biryani and it was utterly delicious. This was my second time in Chennai and my friends recommended trying the Thalapakatti Mutton Biryani. I must admit it lived up to its name. I also tried the Falooda, which was great too. Service: Service was very fast and there were many waiters checking on you if everything was okay or not. There was some technical glitch with their card reader. It didn't accept my Discover credit card. Please make sure you check that if you are not carrying any other card or cash. Atmosphere: It was great.

Only 2 small pieces in mutton biryani. I went with expectations, however I have disappointed with quantity of mutton. Please improve on this. But, service is good.

I recently tried the biryani at Dindigul Thalappakatti and it was an absolute delight The aroma of the biryani as it arrived at my table was enough to get me excited. The biryani was cooked to perfection with the right blend of spices and the meat was tender and flavorful. The raita and brinjal curry served along with the biryani were a perfect accompaniment and added to the overall taste of the dish. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting and the staff were friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend trying the biryani at Dindigul Thalappakatti to anyone who loves South Indian cuisine or is looking for a great biryani experience

Perfect example that over branding will kill the brand. Too costly and just average taste. The service time is too much. To get a chappathy you will have to wait for 15-20 minutes. It is good that you are making the things fresh but atleast try to include quantity. Soup was also just average. After paying for close to 400 rupees for mutton curry what you get is 2 leg pieces and small portion of meat that somehow managed to escape the chef's cut and into the curry. The same issue with biryani too. You get maximum 3 pieces and that too the tiniest pieces you have ever seen. Not going here ever again.
