⭐️Visit: Weekday Lunch visit on June 2023 ⭐️Booking: Reserved table via EazyDiner with birthday offer ⭐️Parking: Ample outdoor parking in Raddison hotel ⭐️Location: L2 floor accessible by lift. Wheel chair friendly. You should cross the pool and then enter TGKF ⭐️Ambience: Poorly lit ambience with one of the heaviest chairs I have ever used in my life. Could be improved ⭐️Food: We enjoyed Galouti kebabs, chicken tikka, mutton nalli, assortment of 4 chutneys/sides and their delicious butter milk ⭐️Service: super slow esp considering it’s a weekday lunch. They should encourage us to keep trying the dishes but instead they travel in snail speed to reduce your appetite ⭐️Issue: As comminuted via EazyDiner , that this is a birthday booking, they dint provide us with complimentary cake which is as part of the EazyDiner arrangement. There is a slim North Indian fellow who throws attitude as if he owns radisson group , he was so impolite when we politely enquired for cake. The other chubby North Indian was too good and handled the situation better , kudos to this guy. Even the chef Ghanim was bit rude when he found we were from EazyDiner and showed his authority by saying we should request for cake before which is for purchase or complimentary. They dint fail to mess up the birthday with their pathetic service and broken communication ⭐️Good for: Hindi speakers who want to try North Indian receipes slowly Overall, it’s a bad experience for me, and I won’t recommend this so called Great Kabab Factory to my friends or family

Wonderful dinner with gud variety. Menu was Shorba, Hariyali aloo, subz galoti kebab, bhatti da paneer tikka, bharvan shimla mirch, rava kumbh kurkure, chatkara pahl, saufiana murgh tikka, kasturi jianga and few more non veg starters. Garlic naan and patiala paneer with dal tadka and dal makani was great in taste. Biriyani was safron flavour and had unique taste. Desserts are also great. Carrot halwa and ras malai was super tasty. But they and include even few starters for the price we pay.

The non-veg buffet in the Kebab Factory was pathetic. Galouti Kebab was average. Prawn and fish seemed to be stale. Biryani was tasteless. It tasted like tomato rice. Limited items for deserts and all the deserts were tinned. Horrible experience overall. I don't recommend this Kebab Factory at all.

One of the best kababs I have had in Chennai.! This is a kebab buffet served on table. The best part is their service and quality. The gouti kebab and fish kebab is exceptional. I liked their chicken briyani too. The buffet has 4 starter kebabs , chicken biryani and 4 desserts. (the gulab jamon was 👌) . A similar veg alternative is also available. The best part is their price for this buffet which is 1500 approx for a dinner non veg buffet. ✌️👍

Their starters/kebabs are pathetic. Both the lamb kebabs taste same and horrible, fish starter is oily and doesn't have flavour. Paneer tikka is better than their non-veg starters. Main entrees: chicken curry is good, mutton curry is decent and their naans are just ok. Desserts: Jamun is good, phirni and beetroot halwa are decent. Ambience and service are ordinary.

Somehow I don't like the concept of a "sit in buffet". How can it be called a buffet when I can't pick what I want, how much I want and WHENEVER I want?? Been to their Bangalore branch also; its the same concept. That is, serve limited quantity, push the fillers first, prawns comes last, charge high, save food and earn big profits. These guys ask all the group members to be seated and only then they will start serving in the sequence of dishes as per THEIR WISH!! Galouti kabab is a great discovery according to them. Maybe they coined the word Galouti. It's supposed to be minced meat; but you can call it mashed meat because you never get to bite the meat at all. The fish is BASA fish which is a cheap and tasteless fish. Being a pricey restaurant, they can certainly offer Seer or better sea fish. After the starters, the main course is only mutton Biriyani and a chicken gravy which is obviously cold. If you bring it to their notice, they will heap the Biriyani and Gravy is Bowls, MICROWAVE it and serve it. Anyways, the Mutton Biriyani was not even Average. There are better places with REAL buffet and larger spread than this joint.

The place is nothing like the old GKF, the restaurant and decor are much less impressive. The starters were okay, some were great and some were overwhelmingly seasoned. The main courses were totally disappointing. We went in a Monday and it was clear that everything was reheated from the night before. The lamb curry was literally cold from being in the fridge and the chicken curry tasted off. When we mentioned this, they reheated the food in a microwave and brought it back but we declined. The biryanis were not tasty at all. The desserts were quite good. The service was good but a little disjointed at times while serving the veg and non veg people, the veg people were left with a lot of breads but no curries. We let the manager know that we were unhappy with our experience and after some arguing they gave us 15% off the bill. Not really worth the price.

Varieties are the same as in pallavaram Kabab Factory and in Nungampakkam They have unique varieties of both veg and non veg items. The taste is very good. They will serve one by one and so you can taste and order more items whatever u like. Service is good. But price wise it is too high and it comes around 1500 per person. Eventhough it is a buffet additional cost will be added if we order a veg item.

Great place for kebobs of different types. They have a set menu for kebobs followed by buffet. Really appreciated manager's gesture to provide us with rasam due to mild sore throat. It was not on the menu but they prepared delicious rasam for us!! We enjoyed our kebobs. Biryani was okay - not much taste but who would come here for biryani? :). We also enjoyed their variety of desserts.. Would definitely come back here.

Had a wonderful experience at The Great Kebab Factory at my second visit after 4 years. Was pleasantly surprised that their standard hasn't deteriorated. The restaurant chain celebrates their 25th anniversary during this period and had some special desserts on the menu. The food was ample and filling with just the right amount of flavoring. It's better to visit on a day when you have not been having many snacks before going so g that you could go through the entire course of meals.

Tasty food, with lousy services. We went with a guest (21st Evening), and spotted a cockroach on the table. Our guest asked for sparkling water, and after one hour they informed us that it's not available. The manager and staff were cordial , but not proficient. Need to improve a lot, to match the expectation of customers

Buffet with a difference. You like kebabs & want to splurge then go to this place. This is a buffet served hot on the table. You get a glow of kebabs - one each, one after another. Started with galouti, then tangri chicken, fish, prawn, tikka, mutton kebab. Rotis were also served in between. Once the first round of kebabs were done we could ask for anything or all of them again. We went for another round. Meanwhile Biryani, daal, chicken, mutton gravy were served. The only negative was the service in the second serving was poor - slow & not upto the standard. Did not expect this as I have visited GkF in various places including Bahrain & dubai / Oman (now closed outlets). Overall I could still rate it good. Then starts the desert - the same way as the kebab buffet. You get to keep asking for more as you want. Let me not forget the tomato shorba & chaanch - both were just great. The valet parking was a breeze but just that the person waits for you to pay him his tips & only then closes the door. Anyways if you feel like you need to spend on kebabs more than needed then go here.

Quality is worst all are frozen cold storage it seems. Taste is there but no quality. My stomach upset. Not worthy for 2345 rs. Please stay away from this buffet.

Perfect place for that wonderful evening. The variety of kebabs on offer is simply delicious and very unique to the place. The main course is much more mundane and the deserts are not too special either. It would cost around Rs 2600 for two and that is well worth it for someone looking to celebrate a special day.

Had lunch at the Great Kabab Factory at the Radisson Blu Egmore today. Must have to say one of the best food I have eaten. You can choose either non-veg or veg option. We were a party of 5 and we went with the non-veg option. It's a buffet but they serve it to you - so no need to get up and grab your food and run into others. Starters were bean sprouts which i enjoyed. Soup was an interesting one - tasted a bit of tomato soup/rasam mix - spicy but very well made. The kababs then kept coming in one by one - galouti, sheesh, tikka, prawn and also mutton and fish. Think there was one other i forget as they were all good except possibly the fish which was okay. Had only a couple of spoons of the biriyani which was good but did not attempt nans, dals etc as we were all too full to continue. There were about 5 desserts, from which we took only bite size samples, just to taste it. They were all fine. Overall, the best and softest kababs i have eaten. Service is fantastic - Gopinath served patiently and explained each item well, manager Biswajeet did check on us frequently. Kudos to chef Ghanim for the excellent food. Keep up the good work. Will definitely return.

Chef Ghanim, thank you for your excellent food course and warm hospitality. Divya's service is exceptional in serving food with a happy and friendly nature. Her positive attitude made our son's birthday happier and she was very much a part of the celebration. All in all, a great experience with all the personnel there.

Not worth the money. Quality and taste of food in a simple stand alone restaurant is much much better. Felt like we were eating a lot of reheated food. To top it all the food was rationed. Service was poor though some of the service reps were trying their best, it didn’t work out. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

A one stop shop for kebabs! Not to miss this place @ Radisson Blu. Much recommended for veg and non-veg, pre-selected unlimited kabab buffet - a unique experience for bbq fanatics. Will visit again! Special Thanks to Chef Ghamin for elevating this gastronomical experience, and waiter Gopinath for his constant recommendations so that we don't derail the "nawabi" experience. Thank you! 🙏

Wonderful lunch at the GKF lots of varieties and the service was also good. Our server Miss Mami was attentive and served the food at a leisurely pace but made sure take feedback and adjust the pace to our liking. Master chef Ghanim Bin Hairat was split between the kitchen and the dining room make sure all the dishes come out piping hot and that it was all to the guests liking. Overall an excellent experience would definitely recommend:

Was a wonderful experience. After a long time we enjoyed the mutton galouti and veg galouti. All the kebabs were good. The service was a little slow... But that worked to our advantage... We could eat more. The chicken biryani which we barely tasted was also good. The desserts were nothing much to write about. The paan kulfi was great.

Had got the recommendation to try this place from my IIM Bangalore Alumni group. Since we were staying in Radisson this time, tried this place for the first time and we were blown away by the food and the personal attention from Chef Ghanim Bin. Definitely a must try for foodies in Chennai.

Had lunch here..Quite expensive for the quality and taste they offer. The size of table for 4 is very cramped. Ambience is good but not wow though. The dessert where they offer kulfi is local and not upto 5 🌟 standards or class.

The food at TGKF was excellent and we fully enjoyed our meal. Our waiter Sudipta was VERY attentive and accommodating. He even served us in the pool area which was very nice to eat outside on a beautiful breezy day.

Not as good as it used to be. We went there for lunch as a family on Diwali. There was a slightly musty smell in the restaurant. We were promptly seated and service started quickly. We were all vegetarians. The service was the best part of the experience while the food quality has deteriorated. The galoti kebab was a little spicy and not very flavourful. This was previously the best dish here. The remaining dishes were not too bad but not fantastic either. The price is rather high almost at five star brunch levels. It is a pity they closed the Kebab Factory at the GRT Radisson Airport.

There is nothing great about the great kabab factory. We had a disappointing dinner after so much expectations from our previous visits. The kababs were tasteless and mutton was not in the kababs. I think it's time to improve their menu.

Horrible experience. Very limited food was kept and its a buffet system but they bring food to the table n self service not allowed. They did not bring all the main course dishes to the table shown on a menu and in desert they kept only 3types but shown 6 on the menu and those desert were ready made And very limited food options not even basic noodles or cake was served. Prawn was soggy mushy. Other starters wer good And food was served too late and already the buffet menu was limited and even the limited menu was not served fully. Disappointed. Not worth the money.

Needless to say .. It's wow Raddison ... Anytime would love to taste their food. Ambience was pretty average for a hotel of this stature. I mean only in GKF . Overall the ambience is beautiful.. Food was simply superb and true to taste and quality. The waiter was a bit rude . I felt he was going through a tough time at work .. felt so. Otherwise no major complaints. Smoked Pineapple was yumm . Panner tikka was fresh yumm again . Baby corn 🌽 starter was good too. All non veg starters were good. Main course was elaborate too. Loved their kala jamun and sandesh. Was full to the brim by the time starters were done .. couldn't actually have other food. Just tasted for the sake of it. Amazing overall.

  • 2/5 pradheep a. 1 year ago on Google
The Lunch offered was not worth the price spent. There were limited starters and the quantity is very limited. They will precisely server 1 piece of a starter per person and if we insist they will server another one. The time taken for them to server the food is too long. All food is table served but we need to wait a long to get it served. The mutton biriyani is below average. There were only three dessert items and in place of ice cream they have served Kulfi which was very disappointed. The only good thing they made is that they will explain as in what starter goes well with what chutney they offer. Galouti kebab was good. Overall I'm disappointed with the restaurant and giving the rating as below average.

By fat- the best restaurant experiences that I've had. The chef is amazing and also a great individual and host. He came out and spoke to us and made us feel right at home. The waitress Sugana (I hope I got her name right) was very enterprising and such sweet and lovely individual who went over and above to make this night a memorable one! The FOOD! Oh my gosh! Absolutely the epitomy of perfection in flavours and texture. The meats were cooked perfectly and I hate chicken but, I've never had chicken taste that good before. You have to try The Great Kebab Factory to know what one of the greatest dining experiences is all about!

The food was brilliant, we'd seen a few reviews with lower ratings and didn't have much expectations however, the food from the beginning, starting from a simple bread and soup to the curry was delicious. The chef Syed Muhammad Ghanim checked in with us thrice and gave a complementary fox nut with sweetened vermicelli dessert. Truly a wonderful experience and a delectable dinner.
