Melting pot - We had such a great experience eating at this restaurant. The service was top notch and their cozy ambience. We went for Sunday brunch and it costed around 2500+ (Inc of tax). The only drawback is the food spread . The items were quite less for the amount paid. Apart from food, The place is real amazing and would recommend trying here once. They have a great outside seating near pond as well.

It was supposed to be C - Salt, because they goofed up the plans. We headed to Intercontinental and wanted to be at their Shack ( KokoMomo.) Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table and they weren't sure of the waiting time. We took a stroll through the property, watched the waves, garden, the huge artificial pool pond and headed to their other restuarant, The Melting Pot. They said that the service would start at 19:00 but started by 19:15. Their menu can be scanned through the QR I've attached. Food - I loved everything that I ate. Paneer Tikka, was juicy, succulent, and right on the masala. Aglio-e- olio, didn't hit the right note. I am not able to articulate what was missing but I have had better and my favourite is from France's streets. Wok Tossed Fried Rice - Man, liked it and was able to eat it all by myself, inspite of nit being hungry and saving myself for dessert. Tiramisu - the best of all and the made my date night. The mild sweetness of the cream, the bitter tinged coffee and the appetizing look and chocolate bits just made me say, Wow! What didn't work for me - we were sitting, four tables away from their live counter. The chef was prepping Kothu Parotta and the smoke had no way to to escape. Not just me but other guests were sneezing and coughing. No one seemed to care. The cocktail available in KokoMomo isn't available at the Melting Pot. They're just literally 20 feet away and the bearer failed to explain why?! Service - Could've been better for the grandeur of the place and otherwise. Overall the food quality was good and the ambience was nice. I would recommend for a family or even couples as well. Food : To start with food and dishes available, it is buffet that we went and they had good variety in starters, main course and dessert. I liked their mutton curry and chicken starter. While there may not be many options but the taste of both veg and non veg starters were good. Ambience: while the restaurant might be compact with limited space but their outdoor view and the resort is good and you have access to their lawn and beach as well which is worth visiting. I really liked it. Cost: It is around 2k per person for a dinner buffet and I would say it is bit expensive but given the ambience and the food quality I would say worth the spent. Overall if you are looking to spend some good quality time along with good food with your loved ones I would recommend this place for sure.

the food is of excellent quality. there is a large and interesting variety of dishes to choose from. it was amazing. the staff are very friendly and helpful which enhanced the experience greatly.

We loved all the dishes out there, the below are My favourites * All desserts items - am not a great lover of desserts but they impressed me with there taste !!! Love at first bite * Briyani - Well cooked mutton briyani with perfect taste * Grill - All the grill items are too good, Chicken & Fish must try * Cold cofee - it would chill your soul * Chicken sorted - Enchanter of your tast buds Trust me !!! It's worth visiting

Even though we weren't staying at the hotel and visited only the restaurant, found the ambience absolutely beautiful. Restaurant was packed to full capacity on the weekend so reservation is recommended. Staff is very polite and helpful. We opted for buffet but the spread was comparatively less and also predictable for the price we pay. Paneer in starters and main course was amazing and literally melting in the mouth, it was that soft. Starters and Main course were all good. Heard a lot about the desserts at this place, so the expectations were high but I didn't find it mind blowing. Can opt for this place for special occasions. Had recently gone here for our wedding anniversary celebration and the staff prepared a cake for us at such short notice. Very friendly and helpful staff who made our celebration even more special

We booked a day package at Intercontinental for our wedding anniversary. The rooms were extremely good with great facilities and services. I have provided two stars only because of the Service at Melting Pot. Since it was a Monday with no crowd, we were provided with a set lunch as part of the package, however, the members at melting pot were keen on ensuring we dont order much and were also seen cooking without any interest that was clearly evident. We also received suggestions on what would be too much if we order instead of ensuring that we feel satisfied as we do pay a huge amount including food. If you do not wish to cook and serve for just two people in the restaurant, It would be great if you can stop offering buffet or set lunch during weekdays and on days when the crowd is less. We were unhappy with the treatment and service given at melting pot.

This cafe and restaurant is inside the inter Continental resort which is very beautiful and lovely with good walk to beach.Our food and drinks were very tasty and outstanding....

I had gone to the KokoMmo restaurant, since it was full and waiting time was 2 hours decided to try this restaurant. The buffet here was extensive and tasteful. The menu was really good. I had a little of everything from salads to main course to desserts and some tacos as well. All the dishes were tasteful and the people were helpful. My best liked item was the prawn chettinadu gravy . It had a unique flavour of its own. Edit 13th Aug 2023 Too damm expensive they have jacked up the prices and it’s totally not worth it . I have paid 4500rs for two persons .. they also charge a service charge of 5% which I don’t think is acceptable

We were helped by Nitelo and Manish. They were really helpful. The menu is alright. Not the most extensive but good enough. Do take a walk to the beach and back. It’s a pleasant experience.

Easter Brunch was very well planned and orchestrated with a fairly large spread .Sushi ,continental food and the live counter was good. Desserts were themed with an easter twist ,this was beautifully done .We were served ice cream that was made in house .It was very good. It would have been better if pizzas were on the menu

Salad selection was interesting and unique. Sushi counter had many varieties. Christmas theme dessert were good. Friendly and smiling staff

One of the best restaurants in ECR. Veg buffet can improve a little, other than that no complaints. The environment feels good with nice trees, and the beach access.

I recently visited The Melting Pot: Market Café for breakfast and I have to say that it was one of the best breakfast buffets I've experienced in a long time. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere that was both inviting and comfortable, with lots of natural light and plenty of space to move around. The breakfast buffet was the star of the show. There was a great variety of options available, with both hot and cold items, as well as made-to-order omelettes and waffles. Everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of healthy options like fresh fruit and yogurt, as well as heartier fare like bacon, sausage, and eggs. The selection of pastries and baked goods was also impressive, with lots of different flavours and textures to choose from. The service was excellent, with staff members constantly refreshing the buffet and checking in to make sure that everything was to our liking. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend The Melting Pot's Market Cafe for anyone looking for a tasty and enjoyable breakfast experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try it again.

Beautiful place for a dinner date. Loved the A la carte menu, decent mix of Indian, continental and Oriental. But the oriental food would take more time to prepare since they come from another part of the resort. Service is Excellent, catering to every need.

Mouth watering buffet with huge list of menu options. Loved all bites of food. Staff is friendly but some on service are only after top ratings on trip adviser so beware of their happy faces. Starters, salads, chats, main courses and desserts, everything was just amazing. Would go again while visiting Mahabalipuram.

South Indian foods were more delicious than others. We stayed and had a wonderful breakfast in this restaurant.
