The Flying Elephant restaurant is one of its kind. It's the confluence of the major cuisines at one place. The spiral structure of the restaurant takes you to different levels of tastes and delicacies at the same time. Chef special menu and curated drinks makes your meal perfect. One should take time to sit and enjoy the evening. My favourite cosmopolitan drink along with chef special kebab with naan was an amazing combination.

One of the best hotels in Chennai. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large variety of food options available. They can improve a bit on their breakfast offerings and the filter coffee could be better but in general a pleasant stay and would recommend stay.

The Park Hyatt is a great high end hotel to consider for your stay. The rooms are exemplary and all necessities provided are high quality. The food is good overall even if it isnon the blander side. Would definitely recommend the south indian food. The staff is very nice and really helpful and understanding.

My husband and I loved the hotel. The newly done up rooms are really nice. The breakfast service was really nice...they had gluten free bread, something we tried to get in Hyatt Regency and the Hilton in vain just recently. Umrah was really attentive without being unnecessarily effusive. Very efficient. Also a callous to the breakfast chef Murugan was super helpful and really good. Keep up the good work! The plates got cleared quickly...something one takes for granted in hotels like this, but I can say from recent experience in other hotels immediately that it's not always the case.

Factors I look at: Value - For the rooms provided, this is the competitive value that any others cant afford. Location - A prime location, got easy access to airports, city and other major places. Service - Top notch. Staff service at its best. Room - Ambience, view etc are amazing. Facility - All facilities are availed easily and quickly. Swimming pool, sauna etc. Sleep quality - Feels like home. You get a good damn piece of mind. Food quality - Finesse at its best! a great restaurant Cleanliness - All areas are well maintained & esp Swimming pool looks crystal clear. Added to this, wanna shoutout for *Raj Nair*. The person who is friendly and listens to our wants & needs, courteously assisting us on the requirements. Guiding us for a hotel tour and sharing the importance of the objects available. He mentioned about the flying elephant, cant wait for it to open.

Visited Flying elephant yesterday with friends. Ambiance was good...but the food was less than mediocre. None of us had a good feeling on the food, spread was very limited for buffet. My last visit was good, this time, we didnt like it at all. Cost vs quality is at extremes this time. Bad exp overall

I booked massages for my husband and me for our anniversary. One of the therapists was running late so we decided to start my massage. My husband waited for 30 minutes. The therapist never showed up. Our massages were booked for 10:30 a.m. so I found it unbelievable that the hotel had no back-up plan. My husband was able to use the spa amenities while I received my massage but that did nothing to make-up for the situation. The staff was surprisingly not apologetic but rather made excuses for the therapist not showing up (e.g. traffic, not feeling well). The hotel overall was not in great condition. The ceiling was peeling off and the changing room was dirty. Will not be returning.

We stayed here for two nights and the stay was very good. Especially the food in buffet was really YUMMM..staff was really polite. To mention ,the staff in dining area was very helpful and humble. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one and hope to visit here again.

5* hotel deserving the rating of a 5* hotel. I stayed in three 5* hotels in India this month and this was the best one. The Westin in Hyderabad was the worst experience, but Hyatt Park makes me confident that a 5* concept could be reached at international standards in India. Rooms are great, staff is great, check-in and check out ran smooth (same gentleman for both, I regret I don't recall his name). Food is also above average, with good international options. Pool is nice as also the gym. Congrats to the management and thanks for staff, has been a great pleasure to stay in Park Hyatt.

Went to Mr Ongs for my brother's birthday. Absolutely do not regret the decision in the least. Ambience was exquisite, food was excellent and more pocket friendly than expected, and the staff was as courteous as ever. Highly recommended dining here if you are in the vicinity.

Stayed for the day package 7 am to 7 pm. Very helpful and courteous staff right from the entrance to the reception. Quick check in done. Ordered lunch with a pepper chicken masala which was not on the menu but was made for us. Good portion with great taste. Didn't have time to check out the spa and dining options but will definitely be doing so next time.

Had dinner there with a friend. Good food and good service. But the staff need more attention to detail. They got sloppy when it was time to close. They took away all the desserts before anyone had a chance to eat them!

My friend had arranged a party here last week.Ambience is ok, some of our friends had drinks,side dish for the liquor was fried peanuts.Then we ordered for starter n main course. starters were hopeless.,salads are also not good.The nonveg dinner costs 3900Rs+tax per plate.Therewere no chapatis,no rice,only one piece of chicken kabab n a piezza cake of 4"×4"size with some sliced onions,then one more piece of mutton kabab piece. then they served a plate of pork.Kabaabs were not at all tasty,fried kababs were giving some sort of bad smell (suspected they were old stocks),similarly those who ate pork also complained of bad smell n bad taste. Desert consisted of a 100gm of vanila icecream n a small chocolate cake. Though the menu was very costly,the food quality n taste were hopeless. The effect of the above food was experienced in the next morning,i.e loose motion n food poisoning.I had to take one week medicines for the hopeless dinner we had on that day. Friends, please doneorder any continental food if you happen to visit this park hyatt hotel.

Fantastic location, friendly staff , food options are a bit limited in the buffet section but they know how to take care of their guests, my son had an indigestion at the middle of the night and they were kind enough to get medicines past midnight and cook Bland food especially according to his condition . Will definitely visit again

Also, most of the items here are cooked to perfection & tastes amazing! Desserts we're just about normal 😌 guess it's not too looked upon in a 5⭐ hotel suite!

I went with family for breakfast. The buffet menu was comparably lesser than many of the similar restaurants attached hotels, though price was in the same range. That was a bit disappointing for vegetarians like us. Service responses were as good as any other similar hotels.

Had called Park Hyatt around 12-15 days back, as I was looking for some good place to host an event. Called them 4 times, and not just once. The first time I called, it was around 6.30-6.45pm, and I was told that the concerned banquet team has left for the day. So I asked the receptionist about their working hours and tried calling them the next day during that time. But to my surprise, the receptionist was connecting the call, and I only had to hold the line till the last ring, and the call was getting cut automatically. This happened twice. They didn't even have the basic courtesy to even check whether I got to talk to them or not. The third time, when I called, I lost my cool, and asked the receptionist about my calls, and she told that the concerned team has gone for lunch and nobody is in the cabin. This speaks so much about the unprofessional attitude of the staff there. And knowing about my call, the receptionist took my name and number, and said she'll have someone to call me as soon as possible. And that was IT..!!! I never got a return call from them again... This was really disheartening and frustrating to get such a response, or say NO response at all from a star hotel like Park Hyatt. Had a very unpleasant and unsatisfying experience. Have been to this hotel so many times in the past, hosted 3-4 dinners for family and it always ended well. But this time had a bitter experience. Sorry to say, but maybe the hotel and its staff has lost its charm and credibility now.

No starters for the buffet and need to order alecarte. Expensive. There are many other star hotels which are much better in service, quality and food choice.

The room had state of the art amenities. Coffee maker, a large walk-in wardrobe and huge bath space are highlights of the room. The room overlooked lotus pond. It was quite and perfect place to enjoy your time off..

Nisha from the front office desk acts as if she is throwing away an oppurtunity for us stay in the hotel. Completely ZERO respect she has on the people who walk in to the hotel. Front office are the face of the hotel and i think this has to be discussed and rectified. and i dont have complains on anyone else. Only Nisha. Park Hyatt is an exclusive 5 Star Hotel and the property is located in exclusive lush locality. During my visit found the hotel exclusive following with COVID protocol. The food and the interiors are nice with good ambience.

We have been visiting Hyatt many a times. The dining experience was delectable. We had gone for an overnight experience on 9/10-10/10. The experience on the whole was palatial as the manager Mr Vijay and the restaurant team leader Mr Pari felt us pampered and left no stone unturned to make us feel special. The staff was more humble this time. The staff is polite and courteous at Hyatt but this experience is stupendous. Thanks to them for making us feel great!!

Amazing place to stay, the rooms and lounges are amazingly well built with amazing accents and shades. The rooms are very neat and functional. The restaurant is amazing with great seating and an oriental like vibe to all the decor. The food is simply outstanding and the best pizza and burgers I had in chennai. The front desk especially Josephine and gautam are very courteous.

Prices are okay. Hospitality and flexibility of the staff and the rules are not satisfactory. Neat and clean place. Maintained well but the management of such places can definitely take more care to give the best experience to its customers and make sure each fixture of every room is working well.

I had a great experience at Park Hyatt. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Pick up from the airport was arranged by hotel and it was done smoothly. Check in was promptly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Has an excellent gym and spa on the 8th floor. Limited items on the dinner buffet. Compensated by an excellent desert counter, albeit again with a limited selection. Some of the items like soups and starters can be much better in taste and variety. The Flying Elephant restaurant is closed for renovation.

I feel this is a big disaster decision for me on a very important day for us. Will tell you the whole story We called Park Hyatt and asked if *Flying elephant restaurant* is open and they said YES and took reservation for two for dinning for dinner. When we reached, we were shocked as they said it's been closed for few months and Restaurant is other side, we decided anyway we travelled one hour to this place and hence thought anyway its reputed Hotel, food would be good, however its yet again a big blow for us .. one starter each of veg and non veg. The food is pathetic, no much spread, deserts are like no way .. when we asked for cut fruits or fruit salad they said to order separately... two people buffet cost 3100 ... if you ask me not even worth of 10% money 300 for this food. Out of all - Khozi soup and one desert is good is my opinion and rest all not to the mark or not to expectation My advise is if you got excess money, visit here for lunch or dinner .

Stayed twice this visit and every time, the staff was kind and helpful. Decor is clean and contemporary. Great breakfast spread. Try the pizza and chicken Tikka masala a la carte menu. We are having a good stay with kids. Their breakfast spread is so good, especially for someone who likes continental. Pool is best in the city I guess,it's an infinity pool. All of us are having good time here.

We wanted to have dinner and then stay for the night. We walked in at 10:21 pm and the lady attending us informed that chef will not be able to take the order as it's very close to 10:30 pm. We just walked out hungry and choose not to stay in. However in house kitchen was for 24/7. Hyatt is good but this incident did give us a dent.

But I will rate this place 3 star at best because of the following: 1- they don't have a entry via Velachery Road and don't have an exit via Raj Bhavan road. This is extremely inconvenient and you can end up in massive traffic jam just because of this. It is ridiculous 2- Food spread is amazing, but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. And absolutely not value for money 3- they allow high volume partying! When we stayed, the next room had 15+ people loudly playing songs, screaming, banging doors, smoking a lot in non smoking rooms and causing next rooms to feel the smoke - all through till 3am!! And the hotel authorities were helpless. It was a safety nightmare with so many drunk men and women screaming. Just disgusting.
