This lake is good for bird watching and water is clean but road side of the lake is polluted by people around with wastes.

For beginners also got more fishes in this lake. Their is lot of fishing person seen in the lake. In Saturday and Sunday we found huge crowd for fishing. First came person only get the right place or they will choose the preferred place other wise we get worst or difficult place or unlucky places only we got. In morning and evening time is better for fishing for all the ancklers.

This place is very good for Bird watching and good place for photographers nearby chennai!! But water in the road side are polluted by public!! :(

It's such a beautiful lake in this locality nearby Kovilambakkam and CHROMEPET but this lake is getting polluted and encroached day by day due to the lack of attention by local bodies. The large lake is almost shrunk now and there's no clear pathway/channel to connect with downstream water ways as part of flood water drainage system system. No desilt process happened for a long time.

Windy calm place

A place of good vibe, locals of the surrounding do fishing here at this Lake. A decent location for Bird photographers. It has all the ingredients to be a Family spot if maintained well. The roads leading to this lake is a bit narrow, but an SUV could wade through.
