WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE👎👎👎 Horrible attitude of the staff right from the security person at the parking to the salesman to the billing counter staff. Parking fee is waived only if you purchase for Rs.500 compulsorily or else you need to pay money. The salesman in the 1st floor section is extremely rude and does not want to show any collections. They simply keep folding the clothes even when the customer is still waiting. On a Sunday, the billing counter had just 1 staff and we had to keep waiting for a long time unnecessarily. Inspite of waiting, there is no queue or order for the billing and the staff are extremely rude and arrogant. First, learn to give basic respect to the customers. A shop cannot run for too long without the support and the goodwill of the customers. The size of the building does not matter with such horrible attitude of the staff inside WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 👎👎👎 WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY.

Awesome collection of products on churidhars and sarees. They don’t carry any stitched silk churidhar - if yes will be great. Restroom seems a nightmare going from different floors - very small space to walk (even if u r less than 5 feet) and - this can be better for customer basic needs.

A few days ago, we bought bags from Pothys on the seventh floor. We were really pleased with Ms. Thamizharasi's outstanding assistance and customer service in the bag sector. Thamizharasi patiently listened to our needs and demonstrated excellent customer service. She had flawless behavior and was very respectful. The store had a variety of bag options, and we ended up purchasing four! We purchased Aerolift bags, which are exceptionally durable and meet our requirements perfectly. The bags are lightweight, yet can hold a lot of weight. My mother, sister and I are currently using the bags and very happy with them. Thanks to Pothys for selling Aerolift bags and hiring employees like Ms. Thamizharasi. Would highly recommend visiting the store! Cheers

Big multi floored shop mainly for dress materials. Huge stocks and staffs are cordial and cooperative. The price is also moderate and quality of fabrics are very good. The basement houses a super market with groceries etc. One stop shop for all one’s apparel requirements.

Good place for shopping. They have A to Z products available. They should improve the pricing just like croma, in Amazon the sound bar price was 7k but they are selling at 10k there should be a price match policy introduced for electronic products. And they should also sell auto mobile accessories like floor mats, visor and car accessories.

After a long gap visited Chennai to buy clothes for kids....my first go to place was this Pothys only. entered and bought it within 10 mins..super fast... Wonderful buying experience assisted by Rajesh and Shakila...

Visited the Chudi - material section in the Half Saree area and was welcomed very well by friendly and amazing staff, Venda maam. She showed us all new arrivals and stayed with us until we exit the store. Even the collections in the store were new and amazing. Highly recommended <3

Pothys is famous for their clothing and textile. As a Tirunelveli-an I believe in their quality but this hyper in Tnagar changed the way we thought. We went for kids clothing and found limited quality collection and mostly of low quality or not worth the price quality dress material. The staffs in the section also not much interested in sale instead they were keen in taging their name after we were finished putting our efforts in pulling out the dress. When we proceed for general home needs and stationery section the same happened and worst case the staffs were quarrelling and shouting at each other. The walking path to next floor was dumbed with carton boxes and stock materials ready for sale leaving no way for customers to walk. Billing staffs even don't have time to hear anything he himself activated an yellow card (who asked for this) and gave us. Really a worst experience. Pothys in the game of competition, is losing the name for their quality business.

Great collections and varieties of dresses. The quality also stands good. The prices are tagged a bit high but if we look at the price we need to compromise ourselves on the quality and collections.

Good place to shop for Vegetables. Seema to be 20 to 30% cheaper. They do give you free bags which are sturdy. If you take your own bags they give you extra points which translates to cash later. Parking next door available for two wheeler as well as four wheeler.

Good service by the people working there....all products are available here like Saravana stores...bt everything is neatly arranged so that we can pick up products easily....

Pothys planned like saravanas stores, A to Z product available including fruits and veggies. Good collection and quality products. No too crowded, neat and clean environment. Has nice collection of kurtis and chudidar materials, kids collection.

Finally we were satisfied, this is possible only because this person kindly asked our query in a peaceful way....

Poor customer service. Purchased a dress within 10 minutes but made us wait for around an hour for billing it because of technical glitch. No one knows how to resolve a problem when it arises and they give excuse as this problem has happened before. Think twice before going for purchase here.

During rush hours provide parking for cars only.And others have to park at their own even so much empty space inside parking lot.

Very conveniently located textile cum super market. All household items are available. and staff are very courteous. Price range is also reasonable. I always chose this shop for textile shopping. You need not go by car to his shop. Because T Nagar Bus Depot is opposite and you can catch a town bus from the starting point with your luggage. Also Car park is arranged by this shop. This shop is having escalators for reaching all floors.

Large shop, every lavel has different category of products. Ground floor has huge sharee collection of various price range. Also got kids, man's, home accessories and so on in different floor. I like the place but they should keep some english speaking salesperson. I faced difficulty to communicate with them.

Good quality and well priced . Whatbz variety Oh I got a discount without even asking. They even give you a good quality duffel bag for your purchases . that was not expected . Here in South Africa as you know you have to pay for your bags I was quite happy with my purchases ...was an incredible experience doing my shopping here . Very good place for middle-class people. The management can plan of easy billing and delivery system rather than long and time consuming process. Wash-rooms on all floors are very much needed as Pothys customers come from faraway places like Thiruvanmyur and Perungudi.

The experience was okay, parking is nearby however it's unpaved. The sales people was not motivated to sell items for some reason, they were mostly chatting with each other than showing us dresses (in the kids section, specifically). I had to remind them again and again to start billing.

Pothys has good collection.always crowded. They have so many ppl working.also they give a sapling to the customers.last Saturday we did shopping. My husband had to wait outside. The area where they had placed the chairs were so dirty with so much litter of paper cups etc.it was so unhealthy to sit there. No dustbins .orkept

Definitely no like before. Collections are very less when compared to few years before. Shop is just accessible when you reach tnagar via bus, since its very close to t.nagar bus stand. But you can have a nice walk to check any other collections in and around Ranganathan street.

Wow, what a store! The high-end textile showroom Pothys is located in Chennai. The garment is made of top-notch materials. A friendly atmosphere, well-done renovations, modern billing procedures, safety precautions in the trail room, cashback on digital payments, etc. But many times, lift operators are missing. And they are using one strategy. After spending ₹5,000 or less on apparel, you will be granted a ₹200 voucher. Following that, we must choose at least ₹700 for a daily-use item; purchases of items for less than this amount are not approved. It will be deducted from the coupon with a value of ₹200. We must pay ₹500. The true value of the item is only ₹300 or less. In order to provide low-cost, poor-quality items, they are knowingly taking ₹500 from a single customer.

The prices are too high. They're providing books, when we purchase more than ₹1,000, which is a good initiation. Provisions are relatively costlier when compared to relative stores. Otherwise good services.

Great Place for Shopping Varity of dress. Place for having refreshments for staff to be arranged. Very sad to see staff having tea and snacks in TOILET CORRIDOR. Give staff place to have refreshments. ENSURE that they do not have it in the TOILET CORRIDOR.

Good service. No crowded lift. Except not satisfied in the gift section. I purchased around 20K, but they say If you buy for 1500, we give 500 cash back. I think it has to be revised. Gift means employer wants to show some concern to customer, not to sell again the things.

One stop for everything, best place to buy garments in bulk for family functions and festivals. Adding tax on top of MRP is strange and also don’t think everything is cheap here.

Good massive collection, almost all women items are of tamilian flavour. Good collection for gents. You can have wide range of items but branded items are few. If coming, need to satisfy with pothys own brand only. If looking for branded mens wear, look in other Pothys only .

My experience was so smooth and the customer service was excellent. In the clothes section, they showed me dresses with atmost dedication... For household items section also, the service was so good. Looking forward to visiting the shop again 😊

Recommend place to try the wrap coffee(Seems it’s not available right now). Here you can purchase vegetables/fruits and groceries at average cost not less than Saravana stores, Also cloths are available but the price are comparatively much higher than Saravana stores. Don’t ever buy Silk sarees in any of the Pothys branches, because the quality and purity of the silk sarees are low. If your budget is 30k - 40k and above then you can consider as one last option, but less than this amount you will not get pure silk sarees.
