Do not go for treatment, you will have tough time. Go only if you want hotel like treatment from ground staff. Worse experience, it's money making factory and not hospital,. Round duty Doctor, nurses and billing staff follow managment mantra of telling Lie as code of conduct . No coordination between doctor and nurse. The only good thing this hospital is there food and ground staff rest all waste. Chennai really need some good hospital which can serve as human and not money making instrument. They are good at wasting time , convincing you for good google rating, taking money from insurance team , atleast 8 person has asked for good rating but when it's come for service they will escape. . Double billing and unnecessary billing is there expertise. Avoid this hospital if you can. Cross check all billed amount and ask explanation for undue billing.

I was admitted(terma ward-1105) for neurosurgery(Lumber spine L4-L5) under Dr.Anil pande(neurosurgeon) sir.He was more support and more helpful for all time in my treatment including medical, covid and financial of insurance .That ward all staff members good cared during my treatment(Staff nurse sisters of terma ward-Valli,Kanchana,Leema rose,Muthubala,Jeyalakshmi,Esaivani,Abitha,Bency,Jothi.Transport department- Kasthuri).Now i am Fully cured . The process right from booking appointment to check in to exit was smooth. The doctor was par excellence and reassuring. They should augment parking space or institute parking arrangements esp multi level.

Staff logic is like you should not be sick on public holidays. They made us wait long enough.Once we get inside the consultation room , we were told that doctor will be available after 3 hrs. Reason - public holiday!!??. They should have told us before all these drama. I prefer govt hospitals. Whenever I went to govt hospital I never treated like this. Someone will be there to monitor us. This is a leased hospital run by appolo hospital. This facility is anti public. Leaves sewage water on OMR road in the evenings. Foot path in front of the hospital is used by this hospital as parking lot. Even ambulance is parked on foot path. Many representations to the management evoked no response because there's no parking space inside the premises. Pathetic situation for "reputed?" Hospital. All vehicles coming to this hospital vilates no entry signal!!!!??

Poor patient queue management. They collect the fees upfront in the count and then the patient is on their own. They ask the patient to go to a specific room where the doctor is. When you reach there, you would see crowd and not knowing who is on the sequence. No assistance or support for queue management and you have to figure out by opening the door and figure out if the doc is already with a patient or not. Then comes the confusion of who goes next. I think they are understaffed.

Pure cheating!! I booked online Consultation for my mother 67 yrs old after seeing positive reviews of Dr Karthiga Devi through Apollo 247 app. It's Rs 700. App was not working at all for video call to connect. After 15 minutes of struggle, asked her to call to my phone no directly. She was hesitant but finally called. Barely spoke for 5 mins. That's fine. Follow up is there for 5 days. After 2 days, when I asked her convenient time for consultation, she says she is not supposed to give consultation over phone. I also told her app is not working. Even then, she doesn't care to respond me at all. These sort of doctors cannot be compared to God and doesn't deserve any respect! They are money diggers.. Karthiga devi is no exception.. Posting it here because, I want people to know about her and also about Apollo!!.

I was treated here for a fracture. The services are amazing and the food is good. I had to wait for only 2 hours based on my insurance claim. The sisters and ward boys are extremely helpful and friendly. OMR Apollo cafeteria also serves amazing food. Thank you Pintu, Sumanth and Bablu and entire F&B department for the amazing experience. Apollo OMR Perungudi - worst admission process. Surgery got completed by 9am in the morning but room was not allotted until midnight. No proper communication or updates to patient from admission team. You need beg for room even though you booked in advance. No one answers responsibly in the front desk and no escalation protocol. Stay away from this hospital if you look for peace of mind.

My mum had health issues and had to meet gynecologist. They guided us to Dr. Asha Devi. She explained the issue in detail, handled all our queries very patiently and suggested surgery for my mum after analyzing all her reports. Surgery went very well. We are very happy with the doctor. No parking facility, they are expecting everyone to come by public transport. They have to improve a lot on the infrastructure. This hospital was built less than before 5 years, but still they have not arranged any safe parking space. Avoid this place, if you are going by your own vehicle.

I got treated for dengue infection. Apollo the name stands for its standards, from the doctors, nurses, the housekeeping personnel and the canteen staffs all were very polite and answered all our queries patiently. Everything functions as per the schedule. The toilets were always maintained clean. The food is apt for all the patients and delivered on time. The beds were made perfectly every day. The Nurses never missed a schedule or a patients call and took very good care of me. Overall I got cured effortless. Thank you!

My wife got admitted at Omr Apollo Perungudi for her first delivery under Dr Nithya Babukumar. Such awesome care poured by hospital, staffs and doctors. The hospital maintenance was world-class, and staff assistance was awesome. The hospital nurses were so dedicated, especially I wish to mention labour ward, nurses, NICU nurses and third floor nurses team. They were available on all the time and took care of mother and baby very well. Supporting staff at the hospital were so polite and helpful. He parked a car in a nearby road and asked me to take the car despite informing that my wife is pregnant and cant walk till that place. Recently went to see Doctor Kumudha in OPD3. Appointment time was 1:00 pm, but we were able to see the doctor only at 2:30 pm. Without having lunch we had to wait for 1:30 hours to see the doctor. What's the point in giving an appointment, when the doctor is unable to comply by it. The water vending machine had a multi use plastic cup. It's very surprising that how a hospital doesn't even know how to maintain personal hygiene. How can one patient drink water from a cup used by another patient? This is just common sense. Please use throw away paper cups. There are so many paper cups available at cheaper costs, so you can afford when you charge Rs. 900 to see a general physician.

I was treated for my surgery at Apollo. I was in the hands of wonderful nurses they were Katthika, Malar, Sonia, Rita, Sarbani and Sofia - from 3rd floor. They were one of the most kindest and sweetest nurses I have ever met. Very professional and ensured I received constant support to recover quickly. Get 45 mins to 1 hr extra in your hand as the reception's extraordinary guys will make you wait for new registration or even if you come to get your reports. I was just waiting for the doctor to come and saw a middle aged lady frustratingly complaning about the registration process as she was randomly asked to go one counter to another.

I went there for Annual health checkup(sponsered) l. All staff are good and polite.

If the appointment is at 10:30 than please come by 11:30 or even later. That is how this hospital operates. The lady at OPD1 is super rude. Talks back and acts like she is doing a charity. When asked why the doctor is late by 90 min, she says I will tell when she is here, till then you wait is harsh tone and making the whole hospital experience a painful.

I have seen the package rate is 4800 in their website but when I booked the appointment they said site is not yet updated and the package current rate is 6000.. after I had a argument they directed to a Appollo clinic and they said only in APPOLLO CLINICS they have offers for women’s day .. when I went for a general checkup in Omr we were waited ( more than 13 hrs fasting) for more than 1 hour due to Inadequate staff.. after arguing with them they started their procedures immediately .. lab technicians are very good and friendly .. when I visited the gynecologist she was in a hurry to complete the cases which I felt uncomfortable.. hopefully I have spent 10-15 minutes with her but she didn’t even ask me to sit and talk .. the general physician is a nice person .. and the health mentor Miss. NIsha is very cool and friendly she helped me to get the reports on time and patiently explained the procedures in Appollo ..

Here they listen to the patient. Every small need of the patient is fulfilled by the staff. Several managers visit patient rooms and continuously ensure that everything is OK with the clinical care and the stay. Towards the discharge one of the nurses beautifully drew a picture and presented and that was a loving care from the hospital. The entire facility is clean, well lit and well maintained. Quality, choices and taste of the food for both patient and the attender were really good. The billing, insurance and final settlement were all seamless and well coordinated. I would readily recommend this Apollo facility at OMR for health care needs.

Very good experience with hospital. Done hernia treatment for my father. Doctor Madhavan done the operation well and successful and post operation he visited and gave his good advises. Ward boys taken good care of us each day. Nurses are so patient and responded to all our query. Very lovable and kind staffs. Because of this hospitality it does not feel like we were in hospital. Recently on 14th September, Prompt action at the emergency and by the cardiologist helped to save my life. Extremely quick action. No time was wasted. Very professional doctors. Even the ambulance came in a jiffy with all life saving equipments in working conditions. The paramedics was coordinating with the emergency doctors and treated my while I was in the ambulance. Great service. 👍

My wife Mrs. SHANDHINI has suffered from dengue fever and got admitted in Apollo, OMR ( IP 1131) on 22nd oct 2023 @ 1.00 AM. This is the first time I have entered in this hospital. From the moment I entered the premises it feels good. The service they rendered is ultimate. Responding of doctors, reception staffs, dietician, billing process, insurance process is so good. Most satisfied dept is nursing and catering. No words to say about that. The care taken by the nurses in IP is so so good. Mr. Karthik and Mr. Ramesh from catering service is so polite and good. Offered on time and good quality food to the patient is really a good thing to appreciate. Thanks for showering good care to the patient. Starting with the professional medical care to house keeping, the doctor and staff of the hospital made me feel safe and cared. During the last three months I had to undergo two surgeries and both times I was very happy with the friendly nursing staff, the ever ready house keeping staff and the catering staff.

Update post delivery: Doctors, nurses and support staffs are good. However, no transparency in billing information. And while admission, we will be easily convinced by everyone there, saying we will do best billing for you. And, the billing amount will be 10% more than what has been conveyed during admission. While making admission , we would be informed that the amount can be discounted after talking to couple of gentleman. I would like to call two gentleman whom I happened to meet to get the discount, 1. Shankar Lal - A perfect corporate like person who behaves as if finance minister and tries to make attender’s beg for discount 2. Nithin Tiwary - He thinks as if bureaucrat who kept me waited for 45 minutes just to talk for 1 min and spoke to me for 5 seconds and did nothing. A gentle advice to these gentlemen - Note that you’re just a layman with fancy titles at your hospital, not a rocket scientist or bureaucrats. I had good reputation with Apollo, all spoiled because of you both. Would never visit apollo in future and Will strongly recommend my friends/family/colleagues not to visit - Mainly Perungudi branch. Apollo Vanagaram is way better than you guys in terms of the billing transparency. Please note, my entire family has been consulting with Apollo since 2015, hereafter we will make sure that we don’t enter apollo again. Firstly, my wife has been admitted here during 38th week for a delivery. We have been consulting with other hospital, however came Apollo in the last minute as we couldn’t reach our regular hospital due to Chennai floods. Despite being a new comer in the last minute of delivery, the duty doctor, nurses, support staff managed the situation well. The crew have gone through my wife’s medical history in a short time and decided the plan of management promptly. Special thanks to Dr Janani Iyer who was so patience in listening to us and did her best to get the normal delivery, and yes, my wife has delivered a beautiful baby girl through normal delivery - many thanks to Dr Janani Iyer mam and the crew. Last but not the least, the support staffs Yashoda akka and one more akka (forgot the name) who were of a great support - the real super-stars. Hospitality at its best - hats off to the facility management team.

I arrived at Apollo Hospital, Perungudi, for the Pro Master Health check-up at 6:50 am on December 27, 2023, and presented myself at the health check-up front desk by 7 am. However, I would like to provide my feedback on the experience, as many aspects were disappointing: 1. Lack of Proper Procedure at Front Desk: The procedure followed by the front desk staff appeared disorganized and messy. 2. Uncleaned AC: The air conditioning system seemed uncleaned, impacting the overall hygiene of the environment. 3. Poor Customer Care Service: A concerning incident occurred where an elderly person, in a wheelchair for an ECHO, was left unattended in the pathway. Despite calling for help, none of the staff members responded until I personally approached the reception to bring attention to the situation. 4. Inefficient Time Management: There seemed to be a lack of proper time management, affecting the overall efficiency of the health check-up process. 5. Need for Dedicated Consultants: While the consultants were competent, there's a suggestion to have dedicated consultants specifically for master check-up patients, separate from the regular OP patients. This would ensure a more focused and efficient service. Undoubtedly, Apollo Hospital is known for its medical expertise, but these aspects, particularly the customer care service and organizational procedures, need attention. Going forward, I am hesitant to recommend Apollo for health check-ups due to these concerns. I hope this feedback contributes to the enhancement of services.

My Father-in-Law Mr. Jayaraman had been diagnosed with Large subacute/ acute on subacute subdural haematoma is noted in the right fronto-parietal region, maximum thickness measuring 2.5 cm through MRI when he came to chennai for his Master health checkup. Our family doctor and best friend Dr. Balakumar has advised us to consult with Senior Neuro Surgeon Dr. Joy Varghese immediately and Dr. Joy is jem and advised us precise steps of procedures to fix the problem when we met him first time itself and gave great confidence. Through Dr. Joy’s wast experience, both Angeo and burhole procedures was successfully completed. Very big thanks to Dr. Joy on his friendly approach and confidence to the patient and family members and ofcourse timely support by Dr. Balakumar through out the whole process. They asked my cousin sister who fell down and went with ankle sprain to do a pregnancy test which is totally absurd and they say it's hospital formality..for 1st time, I am hearing anywhere in this world. Further they have charged huge sum for xray. Please avoid this hospital unless you are sure about doc and have some big issue..don't go here for small health issues. They simply extract money.
