I am very happy with the services provided by Prashanth Hospital. I was really nervous when i initially entered the hospital. But the reception staff were so cooperative in arranging a room immediately for the next days surgery. Dr. Ahilasamy was really kind to us. He made us feel comfortable and was very transparent with us about the surgery. He patiently listened to our doubts and answered us. The nurses were also kind to us and we could approach them at anytime. I am really satisfied with the services here.

Had a knee replacement surgery done in this hospital and I'm totally satisfied with everything that happened here. The operation was well and good. The nurses were sweet and encouraging and motivating. They had no hesitation. Doctors and physiotherapists took all the care that they can. Came in everyday to check on me. A big salute for their service.

During August 2021 my husband underwent a surgery at Prashanth super specialty hospital for hernia. During our stay for two nights and two days we were taken care of by the staff completely. The room was very convenient with modern amenities. Room service was excellent. Nurses were dedicated and highly professional. The ambiance was clean, pleasant and peaceful. Doctors also were very professional. We opted for cashless insurance service. There is a separate department to deal with this aspect. On the whole it was total satisfying experience.

I was treated for a mild stroke at Prashanth Hospital, Velachery. When I reported in the emergency, the duty doctor and the allied health care professionals were very swift in arranging for all necessary procedures and informed us of the results immediately. Thanks to all of them. My profound thanks to Dr Balasubramanian neurologist for his excellent treatment and the confidence he gave me by educating me on the clinical situation that I was in. The nursing services were commendable. All the nurses were kind and patient and attended to all their duties very and are appreciated. They deserve appreciation. Kudos to Prashanth Team. Excellent service. Recently, my wife had a surgery under Dr. M. Banumathi's care. Everything was taken care in a very good manner. All the staffs, nurses, including house keeping, done their job neatly. Rooms are very clean and spacious. They were cleaning the room, including the restroom, two times a day. I recently had my daughter admitted and they took care of my daughter well. I should mention all the doctors and nurses are very prompt and sweet. They answer all of our questions without getting irritated. Especially the ER nurses handle the children with good care. Everything was taken care without prompt, including housekeeping, cleaning the room. The room was extremely clean and spacious.The house keeping staff were very sweet and caring. The food quality can be improved.

Worst experience in term of cashless treatment. Paid 20k from my packet for simple DNC apart from claim of 22k. Taking care of patient is really good. I am giving 1 star because of bills are not clear when you go for claim or cashless treatment. I was roaming between blocks for a week when I asked some clarity on bills. Finally no one taken responsibility and no clarity. If you go cashless treatment, they claim from vendor as well as you. They ask you pay some major amount inclusive of tablets, operation equipment charge etc (all should cover in my claim). They won't tell any solution of operation cost, surgery charge but they say you have to pay additional amount which is not covered as part of claim. No logic at all.

Fully satisfied by the doctors and staff nurses because of their nice behaviour and also the best treatments given to me. Patient bed and rooms are neat and clean according to the health standard. Best canteen foods are serviced according to patient health. Hundred percent satisfied.Thanks to all doctor and sister's

I have given 1 rating because there is no zero rating option. They are only money minded people and try to over charge you wherever possible. I got admitted for one day for fever and they changed me about 40k. They took all uncessary tests just to increase the bill amount. I don't know if all of those tests were absolutely necessary as the result was normal in all tests. Coming to room rent, I took a single private room which they said 4500 but immediately after I shifted to room they said that I need to move to another isolation ward which costs 7500. When I refused to shift the room they said it is a special ward with dedicated staffs, however it was the same kind of room in the same floor ( few rooms away from the original one)with same staffs and no extra facility even the room condition was worst than 4500 room . Coming back to staff members except chief doctor and some duty nurses everyone is trying to cheat you and communicate different things every half an hour just to give a feel that you are in bad condition and charge you more. The staff members told me that I needed to stay for 5-7 days but finally got discharged by chief doctor in one day. The floor manager and the billing staffs are rude to us as if you are begging to them for our life. The only good person is chief doctor (lot of respects to you sir)and he scolded the staffs stating that why are you keeping patients in hospital unnecessarily and asked me to get discharged the same day as no further treatment is required .Overall, I don't go back to this hospital again and would not recommend to my family and friends

I have admitted my wife for a surgery. They have taken care of my wife very well. All the Surgical doctors and nurses are very prompt and sweet. Hey Team, I would like to appreciate the excellent care given by doctors and nurses. Especially, their responses to me, punctuality in following routine checks including administering medicines. While I appreciate the outstanding Professionalism but really disappointed with the discharge process. My insurance approved network claim by 4 pm. And Patient Clearance Certificate was handed by 6 PM. I am still waiting for the Discharge Summary at this time (posting time: 8:42 PM date: 06/12/21). So, I am reducing one star for that 🙁

My mother in law got admitted in ICU for some complications. They took very good care throughout her treatment. They have all the facilities and diagnosed the problem very fast and started the treatment immediately. All the tests were very carefully done and the doctors explained the problem very clearly. The stay not only in the ICU but also in the room was very well cared and pleasant. The co operation for the claiming of the insurance also tension free. I thank all the nurses , and doctors and the administrators for my mother in law's speedy recovery.

Ideal hospital for Child Care ang Women care. Particularly Paediatric treatment is Superb and care is excellent. My granddaughter was treated from 24/02/2022 to 01/03/2022. The doctor consulted was Dr. Seenivasan Subramani MD DM PICU CONSULTANT Specialist in Post COVID infection. Detected by MIS-C ( MULTISYSSTEM INFLAMMATORY SYNDROME IN CHILDREN ) analysis. Child was administered IVEG treatment ( ANTIGEN ) followed by steroids and aspirin dose. Child is perfectly normal and doing daily activities are perfectly normal now. I recommend this hospital for children as I got back my granddaughter from critical stage to normal.

Emergency section is fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable and they explain everything in detail. We want to appreciate Mr. Issac ICU ER section who took extra care. Had a tough time on my health and Prashanth doctor put a pressure on with my attenders to complete surgeries as early as possible. I have admitted my Dad for an emergency with stomach pain and the emergency care was good and they had started first aid immediately. Later it was diagnosed as kidney problem and attended by Dr. Guru balaji, and we are extremely happy with the care and treatment provided by him and the hospital. The ambience is good and recommend it for any medical needs related to kidney ad we had experienced.

Dr. K.S. Ramya mam is my favorite. My pregnancy journey with her was caring, comfortable and highly professional. Her intellect and decision making during critical time is high appreciable. My initial months of pregnancy was smooth but during final trimester there was high risk complications. She proactively guided me, my husband and handled the situations well 24/7. Her team monitored my situation and ensured that me and my kid both are safe. Big thanks for delivering our baby in good health. Also, thanks to all nurses, attendants, and other involved hospital staffs. Personally, she is a very soft natured and wonderful person. I have very good experience in this hospital. My doctors and their team are very punctual for procedures, precise and clear in their explanations. I like the facilities here . They are clearly marked. Rooms are clean and cleaned twice a day. The bathrooms are spacious with individual heaters 24×7. I love the food here. I have even asked for their recipe to try at home. The patient flow is very well determined for any given procedure. Lab results are obtained on time.

Very good caring is given to the babies. Nurses are helpful. Housekeeping and care takers are also good. They maintain clean environment. Physiotherapy mam provides so much positive words so that you would feel confident that you will not put on weight.

Day 1 admission process was taking a lot more time which can be improved. Food quality can also improve better with healthy foods.

We had consulted Dr. Prashanth Krishna G for a minor surgery for my wife. The doctor gave us very clear information about the procedure and completed the same within the next 2 days to our complete satisfaction. The procedure required admission for a day. The nurses and the staff were very courteous and helpful during the hospital stay. The hospital premises and processes are managed with high professional standards. It was a great experience. I was admitted here for severe abdominal pain. The doctor diagnosed me accurately and prescribed medicines that helped me recover quickly. The nurses were extremely helpful and they addressed my needs with a smile each time I called for them. Their responsiveness was also very agile. Rating is PURELY for ENT - Dr. N. AHILASAMY. Otherwise, Hospital facilities and Staff and Nurse approaches are Excellent. I usually go to my regular ENT doctor, very kind approach and professional one. But in this full lockdown, I had no other option. I went for clearing Ear buds, stucked within the ear while cleaning. Omg!! This doctor, Handled my ears with highly unprofessional manner, very worst and rough handling. Also while treating ears with sharp instruments, how a good doctor deals with it? But, He handled me .... by saying unhopeful & threatening words and treated me as like a kid. During the procedure, the sharp instrument which he placed within my ear got slipped from his hand and felldown on d floor and my ears get injured slightly. For that too, he blamed me without accepting his mistake. (Thank god, finally my ears got escaped). Anyhow, he treated me finally. Thanks a lot. For this, he charged Rs.1200/- (5 -10 minutes taken for whole).. that also okay ... But... If ears got injured badly means, who wil be the responsible one? (I'm female..He mentioned me as MALE but Wrote my name as Mrs. (******) !!??? (Refer my attachment) Hope this is Enough. Otherwise, hospital is good enough with all kind of facilities. And other staffs and nurses are approached very well.

I remember coming here a few month ago when my brother met with an accident. They rushed him to Prashanth hospital and was saved by Dr. Rakesh. He was very calm yet swift in his actions. I have admitted my daughter for scarlet fever. Dr.sreenivasan was very good and reflects positivity all time. Explained the details of treatment and reasons for it. Nurses in PICU have shown good patience in dealing with my kid and guided properly. Hospital was neat and clean.

Worst interdepartmental connect within hospital... Looks like each department is doing their own business. Hospitalized patient/attender have to buy medicine of his own from pharmacy for each dose... They won't connect internally and add up to final bill... even though lumpsum huge amount deposited in advance. They want to settle each time if there is shift in ward.... Just gone there for some good experienced doctor available. Else management is very poor....

I have been admitted to this hospital for and was under treatment of Dr. Balamurugan. I found the hospital rooms are well lit clean and with all medical accessories required. They have all integrated facilities and conduct of all paramedic staff was prompt and excellent. Even the service staff was doing their job regularly and with passion. I am also very satisfied with my doctor's line of treatment and his approach of updating my wife during this difficult time. The only factor which I felt on the negative side was the cost. It could have been more considerate. The billing and insurance was also well handled.

Overall very good treatment and took quick attention. Hospital is neat. Scope of improvement: Few Nurses requires more understanding about the medicines given for the patient.

This hospital can be recommended for the doctors alone. But the nursing services and cleanliness of rooms, it would be a long “NO”. I admitted my mom here for a week and that was the most horrible period of our life. You can see a minimum of 50 cockroaches running around the room in broad daylight and some more coming in from the washroom during nighttime. Most of the time the cockroaches will be crawling on the food given from canteen. The canteen food boxes, the bedsheets and bedspreads being used here must be bought at least before 2 decades. The color fade and scratches will say you that it’s true.

One of the good hospital in chennai city. Nursing care service is really good in ward section. Equally all other services are good. One thing I admired is cleanliness. Rooms are neat and tidy. House keeping r doing their work on time. One thing I noticed is we did not have the feeling of being in a hospital. It has got such an evironment. I really appreciate the management team. All over good service. I would recommend this hospital for anyone in town. On the other side, charges can be considered for favouring the patient. And discharging process can be done soon..

Dr Ananthakrishnan’s support was very excellent. He explained details daily which were reassuring. The staff nurses while in the ward were very empathetic and were available to support whenever required. Their positive attitude needs appreciation. The support staff such as the Aayahs and ward boys were also very supportive. Overall service provided by the nursing and support staff was excellent. The physiotherapist support was also excellent. The floor manager and the supervisor ensured that we had a comfortable stay during this stressful time. The rooms are clean and well maintained.

Prashanth as a super speciality hospital has best treatment and infrastructure setup of its own. I was taking treatment for my renal failure in the form of dialysis and then later done renal transplantation in Prashanth which is successful now and i am doing great. Treatment was best and follow ups were smooth overall. I thank my doctor Sheik sulthan and all the nurses for taking care of me all the way from dialysis to transplantation. Good one to go on for treatment and transplantation

They are GREEDY !!!! Ignore it if you can. We had a bad experience and treatment at this hospital (Prashanth Super Speciality Hospital, Velachery, Chennai). They charged us approximately Rs. 3 Lakhs for just 5 days of hospitalization for the COVID-19 treatment. I have attached a part of original bill to show you how they will charge the patients.

Very pleasant experience. Right from doctors, nurse, cleaning staff and ward boys. Very well mannered , polite.. always helpful. Even insurance team were very calm and reassuring. While I had a painful procedure the quality of overall experience and treatment meant the whole episode was less stressful. No one asked tips, no one gave rude gazes for mid night calls.. few years back at a bigger hospital had exactly opp exp.. this time pleasant. Healing occurs mentally as well. We went to Prashanth hospital Velachery for Orthopedic surgery by Dr. Chinnadurai for my elderly father. The doctor was very friendly, clarified all our queries and provided good treatment. Hospital staff, nurses and housekeepers were polite, effective and quick to respond. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Patient was provided with timely healthy food and there is canteen service available for attendants. Thank you all for providing such good care.

My son was admitted for 4 days at Prashanth Hospital, Velachery. The doctors are very professional and the nurses are extremely helpful and polite. There is round-the-clock service available from the nurses station on the 1st floor. The room is spacious and kept very clean. The housekeeping team does a very good job. Patient food is good and supplied in a timely manner. The canteen facilities are good for the family members too. Both the admission and discharge processes are smooth. Overall, they offer very good service.

Treatment is good, they did take good care. But have to improve on room quality. Be it in terms of provisioning additional required amenities such as privacy screens, AC switch/controller ensuring all the electronics are working fine etc. Also pls ensure the insurance team is listening to customer query and do the needful at the earliest and making sure they are available 24/7.

Firstly Dr Ravishankar was very kind and transparent. We think we are in safe hands. As far as the Hospital is concerned, nurses and staff are very kind. However, Doctor visits to the patient 's room is not happening during the evening. It will be better if this happens.

Came to hospital on 11.06.20 evening to take treatment for frequent burping and advised to meet Dr Suresh, but he denied and informed me to check COVID19 at entrance before entering into hospital. A doctor attending COVID patiently heard all my issues and advised to meet Gastro specialist in next time if problem continues and prescribed few medicines for temporary relief. Worst experience and i was treated as a untouchable person.

They charged me 850 rupees for consultation alone.. They allow me inside only for bill payments .. Worst.. Iam very much disappointed.. They treated me as an untouchable person

Dr.Rajesh Kumar - referred my father to a very good surgeon, Dr. Muthukkumaran for CABG. On our first visit surgeon explained everything briefly and my father got admitted and surgery went through positively. During the stay in CT-ICU as per my father the doctors and the nursing staffs looked after very well with their dignity. Dr. R.S.Sandheep was the cardiac anesthetist who was kind enough to prepare pre-operation questionnaire and looked after very well in ICU as well as in ward. Dr. Rajesh Kumar also visited frequently to know the health conditions periodically. Dr. Muthukkumaran updated my father's improvement time-to-time which gave us positive attitude of his health condition is so appreciated. Overall till we leave the hospital everything was looked after in a high disciplinary way and we pray god for their good health and wealth.

Very very worst treatment from emergency ward. I ever seen like this attitude from that lady doctor and nurse. My mother affected from severe dysentery and vomit so we admitted her on 13/08/2021 at 7.30. Till 12 o clock we never found any improvement and moreover she became very down slowly. Eventhough the no treatment was given. That lady doctor insist us to put her in ICU. And she was interested to bargaining other corona patient family. Very money minded. Then we decided to move to apollo omr. Within a hour she slowly recovering her conscious. Very very worst treatment.

Horrible service. Please ... please do not go for Covid vaccines. They will not give as they do not want to open vials. What a pity! Other services also expensive. Charged based on you appearance - a money minting approach!

I had worst experience. The price they ask for an test is not as per system, each one on the hospital telling different rate for the test. Nothing coming from system. I have never undergone this experience in my entire hospital visits. Be truthful to patients. Money only should not be the main. Better look into administrative issues.
