I was new to Chennai and went by Google reviews. The Dr talks well, calm and composed. This clinic will work for you if you need a quick fix medicine for the child but does not explore the long term solution instead encourages multiple clinic visits. His fees had no logic. One time I went for one of my child and asked 1 question regarding my other child at home and I was billed for both kids. We continued going for approx 10 months before realizing and opting for another clinic.

Actually our family doctor referred Dr.somasundaram. He said he is very genius in pediatric problems. He can give you a proper reason and solution. So I tried to book appointment. But the receptionist was very cool and irresponsible. I asked her for appointment for next day. She said OK and told to call before coming. So we called her. She was telling that next week you may get appointment, you should wait until I call you. I said you told yesterday to come and We are very long from hospital. She told I don't know. I can't do anything. Is the way to reply us.? Really so disappointed. Please doctor, give her a proper training. Otherwise you will loose your reputation and good name because of her.

We had a very good interaction with the doctor. The doctor is very good experience to find out the problem easily. He listens our problem end to end. Then he will give the root cause about this. We strongly recommend to go with the doctor if you find best pediatrician in Chennai. Coming to the receptionist. Her name is Tamil. She is kind hearted person. They are following token system to meet the doctor. Whenever we call to book the appointment, she understands our problem and make the arrangement easily without any further delay. We are happy with Sabari child care clinic in Chennai.

Clinic itself very neat and clean. Also everyone entering clinic are monitored by temperature scan. Am convinced that the clinic is absolutely safe, neat and organized staff. Simply 5 star superb medical treatment by Dr. Somasundaram. He explains things very clearly and takes genuine time for each kid being consulted - some times even 30-40 mins. The clinic is also well maintained - Reception folks are nice. The lady at Medicine store inside the clinic (Bhuvana) is very sweet and extremely friendly and understanding towards kids of all ages!!! She pacifies any uncomfortable kid so very easily. Felt very comfortable the first time itself today taking both my kids there. Surely a good pediatric doctor/clinic to look forward to at Besant Nagar.

Dr. Somasundaram is a best pediatrician in Chennai. I've been visiting him for my children since 2015, and he has treated them extremely well and with the utmost care in many difficult situations. The clinic is kept clean and sanitary, and the consultation charges are affordable. Bhuvana and Tamil at the front desk were always helpful. This clinic is highly recommended.

Doctor spends quality time in explaining all the questions raised by parents. Wonderful staff in the reception and medical helping out kids and their parents and making them feel very comfortable. I have been taking my kid here since the time she was born. ALL my baby vaccination and regular checkups have always been with Dr Somasundram. Highly recommend him for pediatric care. Dr. Somasundaram A is a saviour for my kids, all the time. Kids are not comfortable with everyone as we know, but luckily he is one such person with whom kids are always comfortable. As he is growth and development expertise, everytime we visit for vaccination also, he ensures to check thoroughly on milestones and resolves every silly doubt of mine. I definitely have the positive vibe that if he is consulted, my kids will be fine. He has 2 clinics, one at Adyar during morning and the other one at Kandanchavadi during evening. I prefer Adyar (morning), as it is more spacious and not that crowded compared to the OMR one, though it is distant for me compared to the other. Another good part is the receptionists who are really kind and friendly. Maybe others have different opinions as I saw some reviews before visiting here, but since 3 years I have had good experience only.

Dr. Somasundaram is highly skilled and well experienced child care specialist and we felt that during our son’s treatment for Dengue fever. He took the time to go over the process, guided us through out the course of treatment on what to expect next. We are so glad to have met him. Would highly recommend him. One of the best paediatric doctor in chennai. The clinic is well located and very hygienic with a nursing room for infants. The doctor explains the illness even if it’s normal flu, and gives the reason, impact and then the medicines with dosage. The in-house medical shop has all medicines prescribed by him. They also have all vaccinations available

The doctor is calm and analyses good. His observations are good and I am satisfied. The staffs are good. One of the staff members Mrs. Thamilarasi and Mrs.Bhuvana receives babies and parents well. They have very good interaction with the babies. The clinic is neat and clean.

We have been consulting sabari clinic for my baby's new born vaccination and regular check up for the past 9 months. The clinic is very neat and tidy , has a play /feeding area and an in-house pharmacy as well. The clinic also has freezer set up inside so all vaccines are available there for babies. The doctor is extremely friendly and patient with kids. He prescribes mild medications only when it's necessary. He also explains the conditions to us without hesitating to answer all our questions. The staff there are very friendly too ,especially Tamilarasi mam..She handles the crowd very well and organised.We highly recommend Dr.somasundaram for pediatric consultations!

We need to call and book appointment time before going. After visiting they will make us to wait minimum 2 hours.. they don't follow queue or appointment time or token system.. Doctor is kind and explaining everything.called hospital at 11am, they asked to visit at 12.30pm, Visited on time . But they didn't allow to consult doctor before 2pm, even though my kid had 103 F fever and was continuously crying. Worst experience.

By Culture we have high regards for doctors only next to gods. Keep it aside , this particular doctor is more of a next door brother kind. Patience On replies , Detailed explanation as in when required , I can relate to good college professor. Advise only what is required. It’s being 2yrs now taking our daughter, No concerns whatsoever. Perfect for IT\MNC employees 9am-5pm working weekdays in OMR as he is available in kanchavadi in evenings and also proximity to city with a clinic in Bescent nagar, Adayar during morning time. Having said about doctor , we have 3 sisters, I mean they speaking warmly like my sisters not like hospital staffs. My daughter call them aunty (in Tamil athai) , Ambience is pleasant, clean and hardly look like Hosptial. Bescent nagar clinic has car parking space and bike. Keep away from this place, physician doesn't even care to touch the child for developmental assessment. Poor time management, if your appointment is at 10:00 am, be there at 1 PM, still he will be looking some other person, and make u wait. It's all dirty, dusty and yucky. No toilets , no proper feeding room. He charges you premium, for this money you May receive better care in any other corporate clinic. I think we should either see GH or corporate hospitals, indivuAl practioners charge you corporate price but give you care as if they see you for Charity.
