Lovely beach to enjoy lone time

The serene shoreline with less crowded peaceful breeze! Just witness the sunrise along with catamarans sailing into to glare! On taking a breezy walk by the shore, you can catch one of the approaching catamaran and bargain for some fresh fishes right out from the fishing net. And maybe with luck for some live tiger prawns, lobsters and crab.

This is a post corona review and now the quality of this beach worsened.There is trash everywhere and and due to the uprising of ne bungalows and villa's the size of the is very small now. The sewage water from those houses are being flushed out in the sea which is worsening the condition of the sand. The sand becomes black after every wave and this can lead to skin issues.I had planned my whole journey there so I was playing tennikoit with my cousins,Flew Kite,Made a Sand castle,Flew my drone and got fully drenched in water from the strong currents.There should be a shower room for better convinience of the public. Hope to see some advancements in the future.

This beach is located very nearer to ECR. Less crowded and very neat.

Small and neat beach near பனையூர் at ECR road. No much crowd. Nearby many fishing boats are arriving here and we can purchase fresh fishes directly.

Limited stalls for munching, rest beach is good with less crowded and lot of crabs.

The beach is less explored, the water is so clean and a calm beach. Chennai makkale let's keep it less explored.

Not neat.. Needs a bit improvisation.. Soil around here is black.. I think it's because of oil leaks from ships etc., not much crowd is there even.. But very much reachable via a vehicle, this has one of the closest roads to beach and parking is also kind of okay.. You can find a spot within walkable distance

This is the spot to be if you have a car. This spot lies almost on the edge of the beach and sea is like 5-10 steps away from this spot. You will love this place in evening time and moonrise is just amazing to watch here. Check moonrise timings if you are planning in advance.

A good place to spend an evening with family. There is no parking facility nearby, but you can park on the road side which is close by the beach itself. Akkarai beach which is nearby and more popular is almost always crowded, so i prefer copper beach because few people visit this beach. It is fairly clean and suitable for a dip in the ocean. Not recommended to stay after hours. To reach this place, take the right at the Sholinganallur-ECR signal while coming towards ECR, and then take left to either the Sea shell avenue or Copper beach road

No facilities, no space to play

One of the coolest beach in ECR.. got an amazing view to the sunrise.. The beach also has a fish market, we can buy fresh fish directly of the fresh catch by the fisherfolks here.. This location is one of the finest Aid Station of Chennai Marathon, the runners gets very much refreshed on seeing the sun and hearing the waves crashing the shore..

I had a good ride over the weekend with my scooter bought from tesalt. It was awesome . The approach road and the place is clean.

This beach is good for family. If you take a two wheeler then parking is just around 100mtr from beach. If you take a car then you have to walk a bit.

Nice place to visit without crowd. Safe place too if you visit before 7pm. After 7pm, don't prefer because no crowd and the place will become very very dark. In the early morning and early evening it is good place to sit and relax and enjoy with kids, wife and girl friend.

I visited this beach at the time of sunset on Saturday.. many people were there.. but could get some space for my children to play with water and walk around.. Water was quite clean.. but was struggled to get a taxi to come back...

Used to be a quiet, private beach; but is now full of folks; and therefore, hawkers. Still is a decent getaway, as compared to Marina or Besant Nagar (Bessie) as they're literally chockablock with people. Best time to come would be in the mornings, where the folks are even lesser and the beach - cleaner (hopefully!). Great time to watch Sunrises!!!

Good, i went for seeing sunrise in the early morning, i didn't expect that much crowd, very nice and completed my breakfast in outside beach of road side, very good taste.

The Beach is Neat and Clean. There are stray dogs over here which try to bite or take away our footwear. That's the only concern. There are small shops and ice cream stalls in this beach.

It was peaceful ✌ When I say peaceful, it means there is no people at all. So the view of the beach is heavenly. Pure bliss 🌸 This place is situated between streets in ECR road covered behind residential area. Nice view and good place for morning / evening walk 🚶 During this (summer) season, it's too hot out there even till 1730 hrs. Later the heat gets low and becomes cool. There is a temple nearby (think it's Lord Shiva temple, was closed when we went there). There were only limited shops here. You won't get much shopping experience. Since there is limited crowd, it become too lonely when it gets late night. Be careful ⚠ during night visits. You have road side parking facility here.
