Station is located just opposite to Tidel park The station is so big and tickets are issues at the beginning (on one corner) and the station is maintained so clean Rest rooms are available in the station food shops are also available on the platform for quick bite. We can buy cool drinks and chips packets,and other snacks Escalator,lift and stairs facility is available...based on our interest we can choose one

This station is always full with IT employes. As this station is located in a place which is easily accessible to all the IT companies located here. This is the station where most of the IT employees deboard and board the train. But the station lacks maintenance. No proper toilet facilities. For getting the ticket passengers has to walk 200 to 500 metres approx. Needs lots of improvements.

Currently as of Sept 2023 the trains are reduced and will run only up to chindnatripet beyond which one has to take a bus or autorickshaw or there is metro down there with its blue line running to wimco nagar one can use any one of those. The trains to the beach station are cut down due to work on tracks that have been anticipated to take place 7 months. Now every 25 minutes there is a train during peak hours that is 5 to 9 pm in evening and morning at the same time. Rest of the time train runs with much more gap in between please prepare yourself before travel keeping these things in mind.

Well maintained and clean station. The size of the station is huge, like really huge. Not a lot of eateries available nearby.

Thiruvanmiyur railway station is really maintained well. Maybe because of near by IT companies. But I can give 10 out of 10 for cleanness. You have to take tickets to travel in train mostly Velachery to beach station you have to take 5 rs as ticket. For other stations maximum it covers within 10 rs.

When we heard thiruvanmiyur it can be calling a next highlighted area tidel park too busy and messy way hectic traffic and people's i experience in bus stop i get off to bus evening time one person mobile taken robbery person that time I felt too nervous and hectic I have already experienced in same scenario in thiruvallur district..i advised to all please keep on your mobile hand tight hold or inside the bag don't keep within pant and shirt pocket.

Near to tidal park software hub. Station is also big escalate r Available .Soonly metro is also coming to this software hub. Peace full station.

This railway station is pretty popular as many use it. People who work in IT sectors like Tidel park and Ramanujam IT park would use this. Quite convenient and comfortable for train commuters. Great advantage. Definitely a gift for many users like me.

One of the dirtiest railway station i came across. There is an escalator but it doesn't work at all.. the building appears to be a old haunted house when I entered😂... No cleanliness nothing...

Just opposite to IT Park, the station situated. Most of the times, station seems to be crowded. Situated in One of the busiest roads of chennai.

Tiruvanmiyur best railway station.electric train every 5 minutes arraival and departure this trains This 24×7 busy station.

One of the better stations in this rail network. The area in which it was built was huge but it was heavily under utilized. The railway has to take this and send tenders to people to setup shops like a mini mall. They are wasting quite a lot of space. The station has some shops and advanced reservation facilities also available. We have a bus stop just opposite to the railway station itself.

The most important junction in the ECR. The Suburban train coming from beach towards Velachery is turning from south to West. Hence this has become vital junction to change over from train/bus. The IT business is covering the ECR, Hence the most wanted junction is Tiruvanmiyur.

Good availability of local trains to Park station (for Chennai Central Stop) and Velachery, same as other local trains this route has frequent trains, mostly busy with IT employees. The staff here will never work, most of the times the ticket counter will have long queue and one employee will be selling the tickets, they don’t think to help to reduce queue. No proper maintenance of drinking water, toilet are horrible. But this is one among the best route to reach Central station for people staying in OMR road, as there is no frequent bus to Chennai Central station. For people staying in navallur Kelambakkam used to get down at Tidal Park bus stop and board this station to reach Central station (MAS).

It is the start of public train stations from where the side I come from I.e kelambakkam, the place is clean which is hard to find nowadays in stations , the trains come regularly in about 10-15min time intervals, I was travelling for the first time and I was surprised when I got the ticket . You can travel for about an hour for just 5rupees. It was a great experience.
