A very good place for spending 2-3 hours. Well maintained, polite staff, nice collection and properly arranged. Very thoughtfully planned. Simulation ride is good too. Though a bit far from Gurgaon but must visit with kids. 2 areas of improvement- better seating for movie screening preferably in Hindi language too and secondly the cafeteria which is slightly overpriced.

Very beautiful and well maintained place. Must visit place if near the area. 2-2.5hours is recommended time for covering it. The ticket is for 400rs. Audio guide is included in it. That makes the experience really good. They have covered all aspects of transport from cars to bikes to planes to ships to trains to trams to steam engines to trucks to buses to bullock carts to much more. Posters and toys on the theme were also there. A complimentary show is also there for 45 min on space. Best short film i have seen on space. There is also another VR experience for 250rs. The cafeteria is also good.

Besides being a bit far from town, it packs an outing like feel. All the sites in museum are top class with an awe aspiring feeling attached to it. Everything is unique and nostalgic in it's own way. You'll find some things maybe you have seen in your days, or be surprised for a culture shock. All and all it's a mist visit place when in gurgaon.

Visited a place with family after long time due to Covid and didn't regret at all.Highlights of the place: 1.Located on the main Tauru Road which has many big warehouses and is easily locatable. 2.Parking is ample and has trees by the side which keeps the vehicle cool in hot summer. 3.Tickets for 12 and above-Rs.400 and children above 3-Rs.200. 4.Audio guide to the museum is fabulous and available in Hindi and English-an all together different experience with headphone and device. 5.29 galleries on transportation with awesome tour guidance and the entire museum is air conditioned, spotlessly clean. 6.Vintage car collection is best here and these are maintained spotless. 7.Old nostalgic advertisements, products, movie posters are just awesome. 8.All modes of transport depicted in full glory,be it rickshaws, bicycles, phatphat, trains, trams, motorcycles, scooters, etc. 9.A 35 minute movie included in the ticket price shown in the auditorium is also enticing. 10.Cafeteria and washrooms are on Ground floor which are clean and hygienic. 11.Limited food options in cafeteria which are expensive too. 12.Overall a must visit for all age groups and specially for children as it is in Limca book of records and received many other rewards.

It has a world class collection of cars and old vehicles. Very well maintained property. Everything is top notch and audio tour guide is the best addition to the tour as you are not dependent on any physical guide and getting exact info. Documentary is an eye opener and have a lasting impression in mind. Food is a bit costly with not too many options. But worth visiting.

We took the route through NH48, which had one Toll Booth and gave us a smooth drive. Easily approachable place. We visited the place on weekday, so there were very less people. Weekends are filled with visitors. There is a huge parking facility and welcomed by the security guard. Entry is filled with vintage cars and surrounded with lush greens. It has ground floor, basement, first floor and 2 floor filled with history of transportation. The museum is fully accessible for "Physically Disabled" visitors or wheel chair users. All galleries are accessible by ramps or elevators. Photography is allowed and not Videography. Audio Device is given post billing which has walkie talkie and headset, should be handled with care. This place is great for every age group. It has café for quick munch, gift shop, auditorium, conference room and much more. There is lot to explore and learn from this museum. The staff is polite and helpful. The entire premises is well kept and clean. Must visit place.

Heritage Transport Museum Evaluations Nothing less than incredible. It's a retro walk, and you'll love the large collection as well as the trip down memory lane. The property is well-kept. I returned there with my family after a long absence due to COVID and had no regrets. Location highlights Parking is plentiful and trees by the side keep the vehicle cool in the hot summer. Children aged 12 and up pay Rs. 400, while children aged 3 and up pay Rs. 200. The museum's audio guide is fantastic, and it's available in both Hindi and English—an entirely different experience with headphones and smartphones.

We were returning from Dharuhera to Gurgaon and this place was falling on the way. Some of us decided to visit this place and enjoy some quality time here. The ticket price here is INR 400. You will we provided with a manual, a headset for listening to recordings and description of the transports displayed at that place. The area is huges featuring all the transports right from the invention of wheels to current day transports. There is a small cafe here where you can grab some food but recommended to have outside as there is nothing nearby as the place is situated near highway. It was overwhelming to see some of the car bikes that were used in previous decades that are obsolete now. Good for one time visit.

It's a nice outing destination not far from Gurgaon, where you can easily spend 2 to 3 hrs. It has a huge display of vintage cars, steam engine, airplane, boats, formula one race car. The kids love it and even the adults are not bored for sure. They have a small cafe inside with snacks and drinks. The place is clean and well maintained. Entry ticket is 400 per person so doesn't burn a hole in the pocket.

A very good place to chill out the whole day. People come with their family and friends. It's the place where you can explore the journey of transportation from the first wheel 🛞 to the reaching space 🚀. There are 4 floors where we can know about land, water and air based transport with their history. They provide us 🎧 which can tell us short and detail story in hindi and english whichever you want. Also, don't forget to watch a 42 minute documentary on a journey to space in a mini theatre. Apart from the above, you can also enjoy a simulator 3D based ride. I found it very interesting.

Visit this place if you want to see different modes of surface transportation used in the past. From palequins to a small airplane. A good place to visit during weekends. Appreciate the effort put in by the promoters. Parking washrooms and breakfast options are available.

Heritage Transport Museum is one of the most innovative museums I have ever seen in my life. As the name suggests here you can find a ton of the most spectacular and beautiful old vintage cars, bikes, rickshaws, train models, airplanes, and much more. The museum is well designed and lit and once you enter the building you will feel like you are in another world. You will also get a headset with a radio which you can use to listen throughout your visit to the museum. Each spot has a designated number and when you tune that number in the radio you will be able to listen to a brief history of it through your headphones. The languages in the audio are available are English and Hindi. There is also a virtual simulator there where you can experience the next generation reality of technology. There are a total of 3 floors in this museum that is a basement (vintage cars), the 1st floor (boats, airplanes, and bikes), the 2nd floor (autos), and the ground floor(canteen, train replica, coins, old handpull rickshaws). There is also a movie which runs at 3 pm and explains the breakthrough journey of the history of the aviation sector. It is one of the best things. The ticket price is Rs 400/- per person but it is worth the experience that you will get here. There is also a beautiful canteen located on the ground floor where you can enjoy tasty snacks at a nominal price. As this museum is located a bit far from gurugram you need to plan your travel to here accordingly. Remember it takes 3 to 4 hours to enjoy this beautiful place. It is open on all days from 10 AM to 7 PM except Monday.

The Heritage transport Museum is an excellent place. Must visit for kids to learn about the evolution of the transportation system. The place also has a decent café along with Souvenir shop. Headphones for Audio Commentary both in Hindi & English are provided along with Handset to change the number (Written on walls) for better understanding of the transport you are viewing. Kudos to the management for maintaining the museum so well, very neat and clean. We had a great time here. Roads are decent right till the Museum.

A place very far away from gurgaon. That can be a good and a bad thing since very few people reach there even on weekends. It has everything ranging from bullock carts to cars to boats to airplanes. Basically the evolution of transportation. They give you an audio guiding device which is easy to use and a bit helpful to know about things a little deeper. There is a canteen but is a bit expensive. It has 4 floors so you should go there with enough time on hand to explore all of the museum since they close at 7 and start pushing people(not literally) out after 6:45. Definitely worthy of a visit.

Fantastic place to walk through the Transportation history of Bharat. Covers all modes of Transportation. An interesting addition is the various artistic creations themed around Transportation. And don't miss the street shops behind the old cars . They have many interesting things on display, though not covered in the audio commentary. The best part of the experience was the audio device that can be easily operated by just typing the number next to the exhibits. This must be implemented in every museum and historical monument.

An amazing place set between lush green farms of rural Haryana. The collection of vehicles and other artefacts is simply awesome. Has a small cafeteria too. Free audio guides (Hindi / English) are included in the ticket for a whole lot of information. A 45 minute movie too, though could not see it due to some technical glitch. Worth every penny and more of the Rs 400 ticket.

Very nice place to get nostalgic amidst retro car models, stalls, and overall environmental ambience at museum.. Children will surely love it even more.. Food at cafeteria was good, but wafers and drink are available more than MRP.. that does pinch a little bit. .. But above all with virtual and telephonic verbal guides place is surely going to add on your knowledge about chronological vehicles development... Must place to visit, covid precautions are duly taken care off.

Awesome place. Very well maintained and useful digital information about each mode of transport. Audio and VR mode for learning the culture. Great place for learning the transport culture of India from beginning. Provides information in either English or Hindi languages. Quite far but Easy to find place. Need to carry the Id for deposit. Food quality inside the premises is good. Staff was very polite. Professional photography is not allowed, however personal mobile devices can be used.

Really wonderful place. Located at Outskirts of gurgaon. Not too crowded. maybe due to its location. Better to take highway rather than to take shortcut roads, you may stuck on narrow roads. The Heritage Transport Museum is India's major museum dealing with the history of human transportation. The collection focuses on the development of transport system. There is Parking available and without any cost. The moment you enter the main gate ,you can see the traffic lights tower and train engines nearby. As you enter the museum, there is cafeteria and ticket counter. Museum Ticket price is very reasonable, 400 Per Person. You will also get free audio guide, which will guide you at every stage. There is small cafeteria also, which provide fresh and tasty snacks. There is VR available also which ia chargeable for Rs 150/-. VR experience is also good. You must appreciate the work done in maintaining the ambience of place. Neat and clean every where. When you enter the museum, there are brief instructions given to you. Obviously, not to touch anything. As we all know, if we preserve things today then only our future generations can see them. Well, inside museum you will see various vintage cars, history of wheel, ancient toys, first train and history behind it, indian bull carts, auto, trucks, mini bus, tramp, bikes, cycles, scooter, boats, palki, rickshaw and lot more. And remember all these are old and vintage models. Some of you might have seen in your childhood or in movies. Inside museum, there is also a mini theater, in which a 47 min video is shown related to invention and development of aeroplane/aircraft. You can take photographs as many you can. You can spend time as much as you can. Average total time is 2hr 30 min. Its a great feeling there, one can realise how much we have developed and still scope for lot. There was time when we cant even think of flying and now we heading for space tourism. Good luck guys. Must go and fill you day with beautiful memories. It really worth going there. Please check the beautiful clicks. Thankyou.

The museum is nestled away from the ever-busy Delhi - Jaipur highway in Village Taoru in Haryana. The museum is well maintained and all the staff are very polite and go the extra mile in their service. Ticket prices also include an Audio guide. Was here with my daughter and her schoolmates along with their parents. There is ample parking space for school buses; and private cars. The museum has exhibits that show the evolution of transportation over the centuries - cars; boats; planes. Would like to thank and express my gratitude to the entire Museum team - Ragini; Vikas; Iqbal; the kitchen staff at the cafe and all the staff who made our group visit memorable.

It's placed at a quiet area and food and bar too are good. This place is a candy jar for Anyone who is fond of vintage cars . Not only does it tell you how the people of the past travelled, it also tells you about the tastes, preferences of the past era This place is best defined as "Quality over Quantity".

A three floor Pvt museum on Bilaspur-Touru road on the outskirt of Gurugram housing various kinds of carts, scooters, motorcycles, cars and even a couple of small planes. Big car collection, where you can see old cars of all shapes, sizes & times you might not have ever seen. There are also locos & trams inside and the outside open space. Must not miss the Contessa pasted with 20300 one rupee coins. Commendable effort by the collector. Transport enthusiasts will definitely appreciate & enjoy. Young & old alike will enjoy the place and children will enjoy the most. Entry fee is Rs.400 per person that seems a bit high. But they provide an audio headphone guide also and think of the cost of such a rare collection & maintenance. There is a cafe also inside serving modest food. A must visit place with family & friends for a different experience.

This is a world class museum, so well made and maintained I was so elated to come here. We had also got our relatives who had come from the USA and it was a proud moment showing them around. The museum has a wide array of cars, bikes, old carts, installations and educational content on the history and heritage of the Indian and international transport system. It is so well curated that one could easily spend one whole day here intricately looking at each piece of art. You will feel a gush of nostalgia and wow futuristic moments. Definitely a must visit if around Gurgaon. It's 1.5hrs from gurgaon, so if you are coming from Delhi you need to take your whole day off. There's a small canteen as well to have grilled sandwiches or refreshments. The washrooms are very clean (a very vital part for a woman when traveling). Definitely a chill space. They even have a gift shop to collect mementos. Overall a time-worthy experience. MUST VISIT. Follow me on @naina_humangram !

This is a must-do museum in Gurugram where you can easily spend 2-3 hours admiring the vintage beauties that have so much character and personality that our modern cars look like complete washouts in comparison. There are 4 levels to walk through - basement, ground, first and second floors. Each level offers specific themes like palanquins, rickshaws, cars, motorbikes, airplanes etc. Wonderfully curated exhibits that are visually appealing and are replete with history, dot the floors. The Rs 400 entry fee includes an audio tour that is pithy and engaging with options to hear more about the exhibit or move onto the next. The cafe inside the museum offers finger foods and fast foods with beverages. Don't forget to try out the Simulator that takes you on a 3D hair-raising ride on the Great Wall of China that is priced at Rs 250 per person. Warning: it's not meant for the faint hearted. There's a cute souvenir shop inside the museum too. It took us one hour to drive down from Sector 41, Gurugram covering about 40 kms. The museum is located off NH 8, Bilaspur Chowk, Taoru, Gurugram 122105.

Excellent experience. This is a very well organized museum which shows the development of transport in India. The exhibits are very interesting especially the large number of vintage cars. The rail exhibits are not many but very good. The saloon of the royal family of Jodhpur has been nicely restored. The ticket price of Rs 400 is quite high by Indian standards .

The place is really awesome. All the vintage transports are placed there. One will get a headphone and a small voice recorder in which you can listen about it. They have maintained the cars and bikes really well. There are cars, bikes, vintage boards which gives a feel of being in that era. Racing cars and bikes are also there. At last you'll watching a small movie or short video you can say. I had a great time. Also I forgot to mention, cafeteria is also there.

It's a small museum as compare to traditional museum seen in Europe and US. Nevertheless, it's a unique place to visit in India because Indian museums are not maintained like this. From article placement to artifacts and their information boards are well designed. You need to have some inclination towards transportation to enjoy this place. There is no fair or tourist spot around this place so don't expect picnic-carnival atmosphere. It's a quite place with limited options for food and purchasing. The museum itself is well decorated and one can appreciate its planning. And hence the entry fee is slightly on higher side. Collection is one of a kind and has something for every age. It's a must visit if you are staying nearby and worth visit if you are a transport enthusiast.

What a great stop. Recommended by one of my friend, we checked it out. My buddies are all car buffs and Enjoyed the terrific and rare car collection displayed. It's great because you can actually take pictures and get close to the vehicles. I wish they could add more of vintage motorcycles to their never ending collection. Audio aid provided was pretty helpful. Staff was helpful friendly and place was well kept and maintained.

Pleasurable drive from Delhi to this haven for Peteolheads...right from the moment one enters till one leaves, its an amazing experience. Not only because of the collection of automotive marvels but also because each nook and corner, utility areas, etc have been thoughtfully designed with an automotive theme. Clean and well maintained and definitively easy on the pocket with a 400 bucks entrance fee which includes the audio guide. The museum does a very good job of living upto its name and captures facets of road, rail, air, 2W, 4W, CV, Bus, Truck, Taxi, Tram and other modes of mobility across the decades from across India. I'd only complain about the lighting in the basement area where all the cars are parked which could be better and I look forward to seeing all the cars which are parked behind, restored to their former glory! I have almost 100+ pics of the place but sharing some of the more generic ones here. India has a supremely rich cultural and archaeological heritage and a very scenic landscape. Let's endeavor to preserve it and keep it hygienic!

Mesmerizing Experience!! Although the place is located remotely, but it's a must visit place of Delhi NCR. Museum is ~8-9 kms from Delhi-Jaipur Highway, but we'll connected through metalled road towards Tauru/Nooh, Haryana. It's one of its kind, here you can witness the evolution of modern day transport. Entry Ticket is Rs.400.00/person or Rs.550.00/person which includes VR Experience of Royal Jodhpur Saloon and Mobile Tour. All the galleries are very informative and the audio tour guide (included in both the tickets) provides you full details and information. The galleries are numbered and spread over four levels, basement, ground, first and second floors. You can witness the various heritage cars/ buses/ trucks/ rickshaw/ carts/ bikes/ palkis and awe inspiring modern arts related to transportation. Museum also houses a souvenir shop and a cafe, where you can enjoy various snacks. One documentary film is also included in the entry Ticket. Outside the main building you can witness the moving steam engine and Museum Kitchen Garden, where you can enjoy various activities (paid) like drawing, playing cricket, tyre running, camel cart ride, joy car ride etc. Atleast 2-3 hours are required to visit the whole museum with a sense and a whole day can be enjoyed here by indulging in activities. Overall the place is complete fun and good for family/ friends picnic or outing. Only drawback is its location. Highly recommended !!

Being quite far from the main city, i was sceptic as to what I will be seeing there. But I was blown away by the quality of work and the way the museum was maintained. They have a very good collection of classic cars which are kept in pristine condition. I reached there at 5 in the evening and had only 2 hours to spend there as they are very strict about their closing time i.e. 7PM. You need at least 4 hours to see the place properly. I was very happy with my visit and surely would visit again. For the museum team- Keep up the good work guys ! For the owner- From one Salwanian to another, thank you sir.

A different Era It was beginning of summer vacations or Summer of 2023 :) We begin our summer vacations with this heritage tour . It was lil cloudy and temperature was soaring. Please carry caps , we wore hats , carry ample water whatever season it is. We entered and got our tickets and headphones. It's a wonderful tool which is a guide and keeps telling you about each visiting point . It was awesome experience . There is a cafe as well. Prices are on higher side , so carry snacks for kids . You may buy souvenirs as well from cafeteria point. The restrooms got 5 stars . I liked the soap dispenser which was in the shape of locomotive. You will be transported to a different era. If you love your Heritage and those old days of simplicity and elegance . Do give a visit . How about this session end holidays ! Happy times to you !!

Amazed at the variety of cars & scooters they have. Out of the city and just after IMT Manesar is an ideal place to spend your half a day. 2 hours minimum it takes to watch each exhibit of vintage transport vehicles. Moat of all I loved the ambiance and the layout. Very tastefully constructed. Its Spread over 3 floors, spaciously built with lifts and easy ramps to walk There is an audio tour free with 400 rs entry ticket totally worth it. A virtual reality tour is also available for 2000 rs but I felt its better to watch & fee in real. No touching bit take as many pictures as you want. A nice & absolutely clean cafe is also there with decent snack items, a tad expensive but worth it. I saw few foreigners also visiting here. Outside there are few train engines and a tram. Do visit, its a great place

Great place to visit with family and friends. My 7 year daughter enjoyed it thoroughly. Informative, very well maintained, courteous staff and helpful audio guide. It's maintenance is at par with some of the modern museums of Western countries. This place should be socialised and marketed a little more, not many people know about it even after 7 years of it's inception. The cafe's food was ok as well. Approach was easy too, especially for folks living in Gurgaon it's a 40-45 min drive.

The Heritage Transport Museum is India's major museum dealing with the history of human transportation. It is located at Tauru (Taoru) in the Gurgaon district of the state of Haryana. The collection focuses on the development of transport in India. It is situated on 3.01 acres and has 95,000 square feet of exhibition galleries. When it opened in 2013 it became India's largest private museum

  • 4/5 Saurabh M. 3 years ago on Google
This place is all about the history of human transportation, Starting from making of wheel to aeroplanes. You will feel very excited while entering into the premises as you could see some interesting Road rollers, Trains compartments and traffic signal lights at entrance. Museum is located approximately 60 k.ms far from delhi after crossing manesar toll its 15 minutes far by car a left turn from NH48 and then around 6 k.ms. Entry fees is of 400 which includes a movie of 45 Minutes based on aeroplane and a Walkman which provides you infos about every object, unfortunately i din't have much time to cover that movie. But overall it's a good place for day outing interesting objects to watch was diamonds studded Enfield, 1 rs coins studded Contessa car, Vintage cars with several informations. There are 4 floors in total and every floor have different attractions. You can click pics from mobile and Dslr but you can't do vidieography within the premises. 1 cafeteria is there and I found the prices economical to have some good snacks there. 1 custom shop to purchase some showpiece stuff bit overpriced but its fine for such place. For more infos please follow me on Instagram- saurabh_mehandroo and my youtube channel for travelling related videos- Jordon the stroy of a Wanderer.

For people having passion for vehicles and their evolution one can certainly visit this wonderful transport museum. Beautifully depicted evolution of wheel from its discovery. Be it road rollers, steam engines, trams, rail saloons, cycles, motorcycles, carts, buggies, water transport vehicles, aeroplane and beautifully maintained cars from its era of beginning till modernity, you can find it here. Ticket of INR 400/- includes visit to entire museum, a documentary film and an audio device that will keep you navigated and will brief about every detail of the items. To satisfy your small hunger pangs you can visit paid canteen. Overall a good experience.

Very good place..came to know that it is managed privately..still a very decent place..you will find here good educated families who visit for obvious reasons..ticket costs 400 per adult, 200 for children..and no ticket below 3 yrs..there is a good restaurant inside which serves snacks as well as meals..we ate pau bhaji, chola bhature and noodles omellette, each for Rs 150.. There are 4 floors - on ground floor they have kept means of transport of much olden times like palki, horse saddles, elephant mounts then 1st floor is for bikes, 2nd floor for some creative vehicles, aeroplanes etc..then basement is for vintage cars..there are few train locomotives outside and trams too..overall a good place to visit..though a little in remote area.

This is the best place to go for one day outing near gurgaon. The ticket fee is worth and justice with museum trip. You can see whole transport journey from a wheel manufacturing to air transport. 40 minute video show and audio guide(Hindi and English language) is included in ticket. Audio guide give you the amazing experience to understand the things. Big outdoor area which include live steam engine and train boogie, with extra charges can perform other activities like Kite flying, camel ride, car painting, tyre race etc. Food cafe is available inside but I feel little costlier. Trip is value added, educational and interesting.. You should definitely go to this place.

It's great fun actually. They have a pretty impressive display of various transports used over the years. For anyone who is into cars, their collection of vintages is sure to amaze them. They also have an audio tour guide (no extra cost), so visitors can appreciate the exhibits at their own leisure, and a movie at the end which is more than just a documentary. A small in-house cafeteria, so you take your time and don't have to worry about hunger. A must visit for family and good to spend 2-4 hours depending on how fast you go through all of it. Not at all like a typical boring museum.

It's a wonderful place to teach kids about the history as well as evolution of transport. They have a lovely collection of all things related to transport, be it children's toys, palkis, howdas, rickshaw or chariots. They have a good collection of heritage cars, buses as well as bikes. The top floor has a unique collection of old personal use products as well as advertisement sign boards, calendars and posters. Must visit for heritage buffs

Must visit with your children. A great place to get to know the history of our transport system. Adult ticket 400/- Child 200/-. Audio guide is included in the ticket price. A bit hectic as you are going to visit 3 story building. Lack of chairs especially when you are with kids they will be annoyed walking that much. Importance of Airplanes movie included in the ticket.

The Heritage Transport Museum is a must visit for all age groups to gain a fair understanding of the evolution of the different modes of Transport. The facility has collections of some classics in cars and bikes and they fill you with nostalgia. The property is under the good care of courteous staff. It is maintained well and all spaces are kept clean. I was worried to see the lower footfalls on the day of my visit, which happened to be a weekend. On inquiry at the reception, the employees informed that the average visitors during the week days is around 40-50 while it goes up to 150 on weekends. A facility of this nature must draw more people and the administration ought to find ways to get people to the property. I fear that the distance from Delhi, Gurugram and the national highways could be a matter of concern.
