I love any place where women aren't stared at or made to feel uncomfortable because of the male gaze. I enjoyed my visit here. The rooftop is good! The fact that they serve snacks with any drink won my heart. Whiskey sour is my go to at most places and it was really good! Service was really good! 100% recommend the Masala peanuts.

Five star for overall, because best starters, best imported beers and you all get best starters at 99rs. Ambience : Avengers themed indoor bar and they had two options you can have fun with team in roof top open air and roof top with closed glass door.. Food: Try Mexican skewers, Fish popcorn and panko chicken, chilly beef, Honey prawn and pineapple cheese best they served and finally service really good.

A decent pub in Adyar. Good drinks and good spread on the food menu. Prices are also not that high for a pub. Service is slow and needs to be looked at. The waiting time to get your drinks and food takes too long. Staff are nice and polite. They just need to speed things up. They have an AC place and an open air space on the rooftop for people who smoke. Parking available but limited

This time it was kind of a bad experience just because of the service. But which we had informed the management they were very reasonable in removing the service charge further understood the issue and calmed us. Thanks for that Management. Custom cocktails are not available they only the signature one's Food was good, but later the quantity got decreased when we asked the waiter. He said you should have told upfront. Valid point. So please be upfront and share the feedbacks. Parking is there, after 4 o clock Valets pops up and they will collect the key from table. Which was good and nice. Nice and neat bar to have a late evening drink and dinner in tiruvanmiyur.. Certainly missed out the roof top experience due to heavy downpour on my day... Polite and patient staff to take your orders.. Prices are competitive considering the locality of the bar.. Number of items offered in main course menu could be definitely improved though.. Overall a recommended bar in tiruvanmiyur to have a small get together with friends if not very large in numbers..

Food quality is very nice. I had Butter chicken with Roti which was absolutely awesome with starter as Crispy corn which was better than ABs. Parking area is also there. Also Swiggy Dineout will work for you if you can use it. The atmosphere for a person who wants peace then it's not that good. Need more appealing maintenance.

I ended up at this place after googling. Decent place to have your drink with friends, The bar menu is reasonably priced. We ordered only starters, they tasted very average and quantity was also less according to me. The terrace garden is shown in the front with a nicely lighted photograph. In fact it is very small and poorly lighted, we had to use the phone torch to read the menu, can't really see the dish placed on the table. We couldn't even check the bill properly, someone wrote down below that they are charging 10% service charges. Maharashtra banned restaurants from charging the service charges long ago I remember.

They asks for membership after 6.30pm. only members are allowed. Also it is bit expensive. For 99rs they have 3-5recipes and all others are expensive. It's good for showing off. But not worth to enjoy.

Had a great time here. The ambience was very good. Nice place to hangout with friends. One of the few bars to have tower beer. The side dish they gave with tower beer impressed us alot, especially steamed ground nut. Starters Taste was good. It had cricket screening. Definitely a must try place to hangout with friends for spending quality time.

I would give a 4 rating for the below points: * Food was good * They have a rooftop * They had enough waiters * Complimentary dishes were good * TV screen and choice of songs were good However, I give 3 rating for the below points: * VAT (I was very surprised to see this in the bill), someone please educate me on this 🙏 * We didn't ask about offers, they didn't tell us (we went on a Friday) * Roof garden seats were available but they said they aren't reserved * Done out gives discount, but nobody out there informed * They give complimentary dishes but not free salad *Restroom could have been better too Definitely going there again☺

At first, we thought they charging a reasonable price for Booze, since the ambience is good, we never mind the price. The thing is they added 10% of your total bill as a Service charge(image attached) even though they charge more than the original price in the shops.... The fun part is the Service is not up to the mark, we waited for our side dishes for almost 45 mins...😜 The good thing is the beers are chilled and served in a variety of options like a Glass, Bottle, Pitcher(5 glasses) and tower beer(not sure the name)... Look carefully at the menu card even though the ambience is dark and menu card is also black... Bcoz, when we enquire about service charge they told it is mentioned in the menu card like a discaimet...🤗

You must try this place at least for their food. Their food is amazing, tasty and worthy for the penny we spend with a sip of drink. Well accommodating seating to go for a group of friends or trio too.

Nice place to have fun and get drunk. Thier chilli mushroom is my favourite dish.i never tasted such chilli mushroom anywhere so far.they also have rooftop to enjoy our Saturday nights and party.

We went during happy hour at 1pm time during summer nice AC .compact place,very decent, value for money and cool roof top smoking area and beautyful view. Magesh is the person who was taking care of us. Near to Adyar it's a cheap & best place with Friends.

Although this place is in a nice location & is reasonably priced, it is A DANGEROUS place & the reasons to be aware of this place are as follows : * The Waiters/Managers/Bar Staff are running a nexus and they cheat with the Bill, they cheat with the Drinks. * They suddenly came to us & stated that the last 4 drinks we ordered were unable to be entered into the system and therefore that amount would not appear on the bill and will have to be paid in cash separately. When brought up with the Manager, he had nothing to say for this. They are all hand in gloves with each other. * The MOST DANGEROUS part of this place is the fact that Hooligans, Unruly, Obnoxious crowds of people who get drunk due to the low pricing range create a RUCKUS, especially on the roof top. They harrass other guests. They get very drunk and the management turns a blind eye. OPEN HARRASMENT takes place and complaints were raised to the Manager, we also drew the attention of the entire staff - yet, they let the Hooligans go away. Some of those Hooligans, came forward to initiate a fist-fight, and the restaurant staff just stood like buffalos and they didn't move an inch. Finally, when we rang the Police, the unruly hooligans (they were from Kerala State and spoke in Malayalam - thereby bringing disgrace to their State) got alerted, they nearly started shivering, realising their mistake and they RAN from the restaurant. Surprisingly, through all this, the entire staff of 99 Bar & Grill, stood like buffalos and didn't move an inch to help solve the situation. The owner of this place is being taken for a ride by his employees (right from Manager - Mr Mahesh, a so called committee member - Mr Dass and all the Waiters, especially a waiter from Orissa called Viso(Viswananand) who is a hardened crook of the first order who has constantly cheated with Drinks, Bills(but we suspect he could be forced to do this by the Management staff). The owner is this place should take serious note and do a complete change of staff or else, soon someday, there is going to be a situation that may go beyond control.

GOOD!!! The best Rooftop bar in Adyar with pleasant ambience. Food is good. If you wanna spend some good times with your friends then this bar is the right place. Pre book your table for nice rooftop view. Rooftop is not advisable during rainy season.

I regularly go there to have a drink in peace sitting on the rooftop. They also have an indoor DJ and dance area which is quite small but fine. Service is good. Food tastes fine.

The ambiance just at the entrance is good, in other places it feels a bit shaddy. The restroom needs a big renovation as its way below standard. The food was good.

Visited twice to this Bar with friends. Got good air conditioned Hall in 4th floor, there is a roof top to get evening breeze. Food and services are good.

The cost is low than any other restobars but no proper AC. They inky have 2 barmen and while I understand it's tough for them to serve everyone I feel sorry for them. they'll have hire more barmen. Service was worst. In case of month end visit here for cost cutting but otherwise not preferable. Oh they have live streaming.

The ambience throws ah very chilled out vibe. Not very fancy but manageable outdoor seating. If you want a good decent spot around the adyar locality, this can be visited. But it's really expensive for the food and beverages

Came here for an evening fun time with a couple of friends. We sat at the rooftop which was bit small and felt cramped with almost 7 or 8 tables. The rooftop overlooked the view of Adyar skyline and the view was nice. The service took its own sweet time and we had to give multiple reminders for our food order. The food taste also left a lot to be desired.

Its recommended for a casual bar experience. Food is good and tasty. The liquor is comparitively economical here. There is a open air roof top bar area also. But it will be full most of the time. Very limited parking space available in the ground floor. Two wheeler parking also little bit conjusted. Ps note: They will put some extra amount in the bill with description as Service charge. Dont just pay and leave. If you question them they will immediately wave off that charge. Most of the items in the menu wont be available.

The ambience is pretty good for a typical Grill and Bar. Indeed a nice place to chill and hangout with friends. Rooftop looks cozy preferably after late evening. Food menu has good variety both veg and non veg. Perfect place to hangout with group of friends. If you're little shy or reserved kinda girl, always choose to go with group of friends to this place or prefer rooftop space as here mostly guys crowd are seen which is so normal. Overall Good place.
