This is an old gem. I visited about 14 years back and wanted visit again during my recent trip as I was staying nearby. They serve unlimited snacks with your drinks. So, if you like what they serve, then you need not order anything else. If that works then this place is also value for money. Otherwise, everything is expensive. The service is good and the sitting is limited and cramped.

Lovely ambience, attentive service & lip smacking food

Surprising how they renovated the hotel but left the rooftop exactly the same! The food is great, as usual. Ordered their chicken dilwale kebab, cheese chicken kebab, chicken makhani (butter chicken), garlic naan and romali roti. One of the best kebabs & butter chicken in the city. The only issue was the romali roti, it was too crispy. Everything else was top notch! Highly recommend

A place which is nostalgic for a lot of people. A little pale in its glory now. There's been some refurbishment that's been done recently to the building and the rooms. Crystal bar- food is no longer what it used to be. An exception was the mutton pepper which was brilliant. There's some bit of parking available. Go there for the nostalgia, nothing much else

Went on a weekend to the roof top, very poor service , first started took 25 mins , 2 nd started took 1 hour , when asked the manager said it’s crowded but even if it’s full 1 hour is too much for a stater to be delivered, main course took another 40 mins, food was really good we enjoyed it but the slow service and the response of the person incharge was pathetic. I’d never recommend.

Classy bar place in hotspot of chennai. Worth the pay for courteous service. Selective imported liquors menu. They dont accept UPI payment.

Jus loved those drinks and sides which they provide (not fee bees) talking about spl ordered dishes are good and taste was good.

The place, the service and the snacks have been good and standard for the last 25 years.

Good place to relax during off peak hours. Steamed chicken is nice and soft. Afghani chicken is done well too. Goes well with a nice chilled glass of beer. Warm service but can be slow at times.

Both Bar and restaurant Good. No draught beer. BEEF available. It's good too. Restaurant special is Butter Chicken with Parotta.

Had accompanied my guests to the Crystal bar. Excellent short eats and sides for all the customers. Great service. Check for Arumugham for his exemplary service. For teetotallers do try the fruit punch. It's a must try.

Good food. Slightly higher on price when compared to other bars. Place is quite warm not much or Aircon. Smokers have to step out to parking lot for smoking.

Very Good experience with Hotel Ranjith Its 2kms from U.S embasy They maintained rooms well, as well as their receving is also very good,but one thing to remember food is some expensive..

I am visiting Crystal bar from late 1990's. If has a comfort feeling all the times. Service is quick. Complimentary munchies are good to try and there is variety. It serves Kingfisher beer (difficult to get across several bars in Chennai, most of them offer horrible British Empire instead). Good quiet place to visit either alone or with friends.
